One CS youtuber even said if he were to retire now (at 17!) he would still be viewed as the best that has played the game.

I agree he'd be there with one of the best players if he somehow immediately stepped down from the scene. You rarely see those consistent performances when every other top team has been on and off.

Also, we'll get to see him perform later today as the EU RMR B kicks off and they'll be facing ENCE in their opening match.
Team Spirit did beat Astralis yesterday but it was 13-11 so was a close one.

They play again later on today mouz.
But good luck on your bet for Astralis vs Heroic.

Missed all the opening games, straight 2-0 from most of the favourites so that would be decent profit if only someone had taken them
Same, I didn't realize that the tournament was ongoing and I was too focused on the CS2 RMR matches.  Tongue

I'll do both with my multi, only taking the match-winners for LGD and Astralis. I don't want to be greedy even though the odds are tempting on the map handicap. Another reason to bet against Entity is they're playing with a stand-in and I assume he could be the weakest link in the team.

Anyone betting on games of future tournament games?

I got my bet on LGD to win 2-0 against Entity, odds are great if this hits and I think the china region team usually play so well on group stages like this then suddenly flop on the playoff so I guess I will be taking advantage on this and hope that they will win

ESL CounterStrike's own media even recognized how huge of deal Donk's performance was during the past few months with this featurette they produced yesterday about this teen phenom:
Who is DONK?

That is very difficult to fathom for most who aren't familiar with the way CS has been played for the past 20+ years.

I think Donk is a pure generation talent and I don't think someone will top this kid anytime soon + he didn't even reached his prime yet so imagine how good he can become in a few years. I also don't think he is toxic as some players say that about him and personally I do think the kid is just to good and with the current age he has , it's normal to show emotions from time to time... .

Lec finals today, for a spot in MSI 2024, BDS will be olaying without their toplaner adam whos taking a leave for personal reasons.

They are 3x dogs and i dont think they have a chance todayz with how important adam has been to them. MDK should win this 3-0
BDS almost got the reverse sweep, and it took two losses before MDK got to close the series. In their first two losses, BDS had a slight draft advantage with K'sante, but their sub-top laner couldn't capitalize.

G2 will probably sweep MDK in the finals since they already swept BDS during the upper final, and this series won't be any different, assuming G2 won't draft anything unexpected.

The EU RMR A also ended earlier, with most top teams qualifying except for NiP and Falcons. The team that stood out a bit for me was Amkal Esports, as they had to go through NiP and Falcons.

Liquid final curse seems to be strong in 2024 too because they are down 2-0 against Falcons with 3rd map draft going on and I really cannot believe in Liquid anymore because some of them are too soft to play for Liquid ( Micke per example who is B tier carry in my opinion ). I also think if they lose this final , some players will actually take a break and I think Boxi will be the first who goes inactive simply because his team is too damn nice to actually play aggressive Dota.

Watched the end of the match with the score already 12-6 against NiP so they lost badly.
With their prospect Donk Team Spirit should rise the ranks now the same with G2 when m0NESY joined their squad.
Just finished watching this mini-docu on this player:

Also , my bet is actually on BetBoom to win this tournament but I can also see Liquid finally winning a tournament with since Nisha joined because they lost too many finals last year against GG. ( I'm also very happy for GG being eliminated )  Grin Grin

Well there are 2 more rounds to go considering that they will stay in upper bracket before they win the tournament. BetBoom wasnt that impressive in group stage so its kinda shocking for me. Kinda unexpected for GG to lose against Team Liquid but atleast we all know this year wont be a boring year for us because the winner of these top tier tournaments are going to be different most likely ( GG literally dominated last year, ngl )

Going for -1.5 on BetBoom tomorrow

Seems like last patch really nerfed Team Spirit heroes pool a lot right ? I mean the play style is still there but somehow they are losing most of the fights and Azure Ray is about to eliminate Team Spirit from Betboom Dacha Dubai 2024.

Betting -1.5 for GG and Team Falcons to win. If GG win 2-0 against Team Spirit then I dont see any reason they would lose against Betboom

Okay this is odd. GG managed to win 2-0 against Team Spirit only to be wiped out by BetBoom for another 2-0. For some reason BetBoom has been pretty dominant in this tournament since playoff. I guess they dont really wanna looks like bunch of clowns on their main sponsor's tournament huh. GG against Team Liquid on the lower bracket would be another classic game between these two teams again with GG probably dominating the rounds

Donk was the real deal in Katowice as he got the tournament's MVP award.
DONK EQUALS BIG EVENT RECORD RATING TO EARN IEM KATOWICE MVP
https://www.hltv.org/news/38184/donk-equals-big-event-record-rating-to-earn-iem-katowice-mvp

Niko held that record since 2017 from ESL One in New York.
Heard form a Esports chat he was getting some massive kills and ADR during the match so didn't doubt this performance.

Donk and the boys delivered against Faze, while Yatoro and the gang got outdrafted so hard by Gaimin Gladiators. I guess Gaimin Gladiator is back to playoffs mode because that 2-0 win against Team Spirit was too clean from start to finish.

We have a few lower-bracket matches today and who would've expected all the higher-seeded teams are one series away from elimination?  Shocked

I'm only sticking with the Team Spirit series and skipping the Team Liquid series because LGD looked worse, and the other series is somewhat off, with XG being overvalued mainly because of their better group stage results.

I forgot to bet on the lower bracket lol. That was a good odds for Team Spirit. Seems pretty weird to e that both the chinese team are on top of the group stage but both of them cant do shit on the playoff then got wiped out 2-0 on both upper and lower bracket games. is it safe to even conclude that China region's dominance has been declining ?

Both Chinese teams, XG and LGD are already out of the tournament.

I've watched the game of Team Spirit and LGD and it's a very easy game for Team Spirit. It's like TS is on a steroids and both maps are too easy for them.

Team Liquid also won 2-0 against XG. There's still one hope for the China region and that's with Azure Ray and their match against Team Falcons will happen tomorrow.

Both teams are pretty dominant in this tournament so I really wish I hit this, although this one is relatively at smaller stake than I usually bet but hey its going to be pretty nice to hit this bet though. Honestly, Im quite unsure with Team Spirit on dota2 but I bet its going to be relatively easy 2-0 for Team Spirit on cs2

Congrats on the wins for both series and surprisingly, betting on the playoffs has been great with all the favorites delivering the wins. I assume the grand finals would be the same when Team Spirit is performing like they're the team to beat in this tournament.

Also, with the BB tournament later today, i'll be making a parlay on both Team Spirit(Dota and CS), as they're both favorites at around 1.4 decimal odds.

You really gave me an idea to try
