GG used to beat up every team roster recently on Dota scene specially on EU and NA but they cant really totally shut down SEA specially Talon Esports. Come to think back that they are also once been dropped to lower bracket on Riyadh masters as far as i remember which we could really be able to say that they are indeed the kryptonite of GG team and pretty sure that they are aware. The bad thing on being on the upper bracket
of Talon is that they would really be facing Liquid which we do know that they are really that outmatched by Liquid whenever they are really that matched up. Lets see if they would really be making out some adjustments basing up on past performance.

Even with that Tundra vs Nouns which it is really that unexpected that they had get that 2-0 which is on favor with Nouns. We do know on how dominating Tundra is
but surprisingly they have been beat up but of course its not really that too much of a concern knowing that they are really just heading on lower bracket.

TSM hasn't been what they were just a few months ago and from what everybody else has been witnessing so far in this TI tournament, Team Spirit seemed to have replaced them as the team to beat now.

Some big money going into them finally dropping a map seems to be the play going forward in this tournament.

Talon once again proved to be the kryptonite of GG because even if GG won first map , Talon did a comeback and won the series by 2-1 and pushed GG into Lower Bracket. Now , I honestly think GG will be eliminated on the next series against EG ( even if EG looks awful right now and some changes would do good to them ).

Today , a lot of great games in front of us and we might have a lot of surprises today as so far we only got 1 with VP eliminating TSM 

Team Spirit continued to prove on who they are against Shopify Rebellion and they've won two matches straight in a best of 3 series. They're proving that they shouldn't be underestimated because they're also a former TI champ and a 2-time hopeful.

Whilst for other matches, TSM and VP. I didn't know that VP got some sudden buff and was able to beat them on a 2-0 as well.

I also thought that they will but they didn't.

My picks for Dota 2 The International day 3:

Team Spirit🆚Shopify Rebellion: Shopify Rebellion +1.5 @ 2.60 (Leetbit)
This will be a blast. We are entering Phase Two of The International, and in the next 2 days we will see 8 decider matches. First of them is Spirit vs Rebellion. What a classic and amazing match this will be to watch it. Team Spirit are absolute favorites right now to win The International this year. They are the only team in TI12 so far with 100% win rate. 4 matches, 4 clean 2-0 victories. Really impressive. On the other side, we have North American squad, Shopify Rebellion, led by Arteezy, Cr1t and Fly. Spirit are heavy favourites here. Their gameplay is amazing, picks good, rotations unpredictable. On paper, Rebellion has amazing squad too, but they are not performing lately, especially in this TI. 2 losses and 2 draws are their current stats on this TI, which is terrible for a team like them. However, they are a team that is the strongest in most important matches. Full of experience, and if luck hits them, they can beat much stronger teams. Plus, they did beat beat Team Spirit once last month, in Dreamleague (2-1). Very risky bet, high odds. If you love risk and good value bet, this is it.

TSM🆚VirtusPro: Over 2.5 maps @ 1.85 (Leetbit)
This will be a much closer series. CIS teams always perform good in the playoffs and high risk matches. And let's not forget, this is best of 3 match, same as previous one, so in total 3 maps can be played. Those two teams don't have best of 3 head to head history, as this will be their first match in that format. Their last series was in Riyadh Masters where match ended up with a draw, 1-1. VP has 1 loss and 3 draws so far in this TI, while TSM has 1 win, 1 loss and 2 draws. TSM are small favorites here, but I believe VirtusPro is a young up and coming team, that can surely pull off a surprise. I somehow doubt they can win this series, but they can be a big threat and bring this to 3 maps. If you are okay with lower odds, lower risk situation, VP +1.5 handicap is a good way to go. Otherwise Over 2.5 maps is a bet that can bring out the most value.

There is also a possibility for Talon to actually beat GG as this won't be the first time this year when Talon puts real problems for Quinn , Ace and the rest of Gaiming Glaidiators.  

Team Spirit has been the most consistent honestly all over this year. Forget about all the LANs that Gaimin Gladiators dominated as the prize pool of those were too little compared to the tournaments that Team Spirit has won and even this TI isn't that much in prize pool, the credential and achievement of it is totally different from those that have been in the DPC tournaments.

We will see that but it's likely that Team Spirit so far has been good for these two days and we'll see how they'll perform on the phase two seeding. But I am sure that they want to get into the upper bracket as the matches there are much easier and don't have to go through hell in the lower bracket and that's why they'll have to win against Shopify Rebellion later and that's plausible.

LGD is already adjusted and back on top to their region while Gaimin is already struggling in the previous tournament so I will not be surprised if they will show slow start on this tournament. They still have a pretty decent standing so far but the second round will dictate whether they are just hiding strategy or they just can’t catch up to the new patch.

Team Spirit is indeed the heavy favorite now after they flawless performance on Riyadh Master. Watching TI is not the same fun for me without old teams like OG, Secret and Nigma(Kuroky). End of an era for the old teams which I’m following when I’m still new on Dota2.

Taking Team Spirit and riding with them all tournament seems to making you look like a prediction wizard of this DOTA2 tournament.
Starting off 3-0 is a perfect start.
But maybe it is time to bet a different route because it is more than likely when a team is on a roll they will lose atleast one match.
Don't know if there were ever a team going flawless in these TI tournaments or not but I would tend to lean towards a different market at times like this.

Already on Day 2.

Team spirit, Team Liquid, LGD gaming, Tundra esports are the 4 teams that had dominated on designated groups.
Thunder Awaken had already dropped or goes to airport. EG and VP are on verge on going on the same path too.
IF ever that Talon Esports would be able to beat up Quest on this Game 2 (currently playing/ongoing) which they might be able to
climb on rank 4 on Group D which they might still be able to climb onto phase 2.

Totally gets thrilling and exciting on which i didnt even expect that Sea team would really be able to compete out on international stages.

Here  are the  standings after Day  1,

As i mentioned earlier,  spirit are at top as expected,  however they did  not drop even a single map which is pretty amazing.\

For me the surprise is LGD as i didnt expect to be at top in a group  vs Gaimin glad

Very  surprised  to see both the SEA  teams at bottom,historically  there is a always one SEA dark horse that shows up at TI and makes some big upsets.

Talon still has 4 maps to  play so i am hoping they can  get some wins in and progress to phase 2 

Team Spirit is playing next level Dota right now. The way they play as a team , the way Yatoro farms and the way supports are rotate around their cores...is simply unmatchable from any other team from TI and that says a lot.

After 1 day :

Strong teams : Spirit , Tundra , Liquid , Azure , LGD.

Not so strong : BB , Entity and GG.

Bottom and maybe first eliminated : EG , VP , Talon and TA.

It's not a major but more of a TI version of LoL since only the best teams from each region receive a slot. I'm only betting on it because I thought it'd be more predictable, but it's been the other way around(three upsets out of the six series played).

I might do a bit of live bet on the games for tomorrow and use lower stakes until the next phase.

31 minutes of the game and Entity wins the first game. Well, I have never expected that Invoker offlane won't be like this as it looks like it doesn't have any help at all. The game was kind of slow at the beginning and stuck like from the KDA of 3-3 and then Entity just got it all. An illusion lineup with CK + Naga siren which is good and these illusions are all tanky. Even in the late game, I think that the EG will still have a hard time on this one because two carries on the side of Entity so, that offlane CK transitioning to a hitter and gives some help in physical damage to Naga and that's what happened on this match, Entity just opened their group stages with a good win and this gives the confidence to them as I am waiting for the game 2. And with Tundra and TSM, seems like Tundra just won quickly their first game.

I'm currently watching ROAD TO TI12: GROUP STAGE - Tundra Esports vs. TSM (BO2).

An offlane Invoker pick seems kind of strange for EG. I've never seen Invoker picked as an offlaner before. However, there's nothing new in the pro scene even Udying from the last TI, has been played as a carry.
EG has late-game heroes. I'm going to pick EG for the late game. Entity has strong early game. My series pick is 2-0 in favor of Entity.

The games have started guys, which match are you watching right now? It's hard to decide right now but I am watching the match of EG and Entity.

For the line up of heroes of EG;

• Invoker - offlane
• Void Spirit - mid
• Terrorblade - carry
• Dark willow - support
• Lich - support

And for the side of Entity.

• Puck - mid
• Naga - carry
• Chaos Knight - offlane
• Warlock - support
• Vengeful Spirit

And for me the easiest one would be the group D. But again, with TI, I don't want to be judgemental and as with all of these participating teams. All of them are worthy to be in here and did go through the hole of a needle before being qualified.

Less than 5 hours and we will see the show time from all of these teams. So, matches from these four groups are going to be at the same time. So folks and co dota 2 fans, choose what matches you're going to bet and will enjoy to watch.

They're both like the most sought tournaments for both esports and what a coincidence that both of their prize pools are close to each other. However, it's that Dota 2 is more than like $500k-$700k.

Not familiar with league Worlds tournament either but if it is on the same level as The Internationals of DOTA2 tournament event status but in the LoL realm of play. Those who are well versed in the tournament and teams are welcomed to discuss here while they are getting underway.
As from what ralle14 had already posted, they seem to be a major since markets are available to place bets on.

Group B looks like the strongest one , right ? Besides Thunder Awaken , all the other 4 have equal chances to move further and I also think that Group B will deliver the winning team of this TI.

For now , I will stick with BetBoom to win , followed by Shopify Rebelion ( because RTZ ) and finally I will pick Talon because this team needs only a great day in order to simply crush everyone in a Dota 2 game.
