It seems that entire GG team is disbanding after all and latest news are that : Quinn and Dyrachyo might join Tundra Esports.

Well if this happens , Topson will be moved to pos 4 ? or what ? because Quinn doesn't play anything besides MID and if this is true , I think Topson will be kicked out of Tundra. There are also rumors than both Skitter and Skeyking left Tundra because of Topson and his idea of Dota 2. Undecided

G2 Esports had removed their team from the CS Asia Championships tournament which has already started today:
"G2 have pulled out of the CS Asia Championships, the organizers of the $500,000 tournament taking place in Shanghai, China on November 8-12 have announced."
source: https://www.hltv.org/news/37351/g2-pull-out-of-cs-asia-championships

According to the article the team is undergoing a rebuilding process the same as Team Liquid had also stated was the reason for their absence of the tournament in Shanghai.
Lynn Vision is currently going up against Tyloo who I am familiar with in this region of CounterStrike play.

What can you say guys with the revelation of Taiga just after/during the TI finals? He became addicted and lost more than his entire career earnings due to his gambling addiction.

Taiga Opens Up About His Gambling Addiction

Based on https://liquipedia.net/dota2/Taiga his total career earnings is close to $650,000 and with that revelation from him, that he has lost more than that amount.

What a guy, it's sad that he's got into gambling addiction although he said that he's aware of the inflictions of it.

I guess that he has seen the light and now doing his best to change, I hope that he goes to a good team this upcoming season.
Wow! Didn't realize a professional player in DOTA2 had such a problem with an addiction to gambling.
Usually you hear about them being addicted to the game since the lifestyle of an esports player basically makes them this way.
In living and breathing in the sport from when they get up in the morning until they go to sleep at night.
Especially in South Korea.
Reminded me to this video of having conformity to such lifestyle changes inorder to become a pro esports player (TSM):

At this point , I doubt anyone can stop Spirit for winning another TI right ? I mean GG will surely defeat LGD and reach the finals but I still think Spirit is the better team overall.

We also have some news from Dota 2 scene with Zai most likely retiring from Dota 2 pro scene and the scandal of fair play between Azure Ray and BetBoom seems to have moved on social media after last night some players refused to shake hands with each other ...
Nope, Team Spirit took The International 2023 title in dominating fashion with a 3-0 against Gaiman Gladiators!

No doubt that Team Spirit is like on the hybrid form and seems no one can stop them. And when I've watched the interviews of many other players that participated this TI, if there's one player that they'd like to ban, that's no other than yatoro. It's very likely that they're going to win their 2nd TI belt for the 4 of the roster and this is going to be the first TI for Larl.

I mean GG will surely defeat LGD and reach the finals but I still think Spirit is the better team overall.
We still have to see that if they'll be able to beat LGD. This is also a hungry team that on their region, it's been so long since they've taken the aegis. Well, it's just one hour away until we see the match happening for GG and LGD.

We also have some news from Dota 2 scene with Zai most likely retiring from Dota 2 pro scene and the scandal of fair play between Azure Ray and BetBoom seems to have moved on social media after last night some players refused to shake hands with each other ...Sad
I just hope that zai won't retire yet. It seems like I am getting old when I see most of these pro players retiring. I've known them for quite a while and then this. And for that BetBoom and Azure Ray, I think that '?' and BetBoom's chat before this TI or it was during the other tournament that Torontotokyo told on the chat that if they are scared of the BetBoom's roster if they're not with pure.

After making a durachyo on the 3rd map with Weaver, this is insane, he simply killed alone while one of his teammates took Roshan. I really want them to stop TS and raise the Aegis above their heads. But it’s too early to talk about this, because today we will see LGD against GG.

At the same time, I understand perfectly well that the TS will most likely win. The worst thing that can happen is the final of TS vs LGD, in which TS will simply beat 3 maps in a row. If I were LGD, I wouldn’t be able to survive this, it would be better to lose to GG, no matter how stupid it may sound.

What a crazy 2nd map between VP and BB with game being already in minute 70 and mega creeps on side of BB...but , I have a feeling we will get map 3 as VP can do a huge comeback with Muerta+Divine+Refresher  Grin Grin

After this , I do hope Spirit vs Liquid will give us the best game of TI so far and hopefully we get 3 maps  Cool
It was some great DOTA in second map of BB vs. VP and enjoyed it to the very end. That was already 1 AM my local time so no way I was staying up to watch late games.

I can see all favorites passed quite easy yesterday and I will take that every day. Nice boost to play some tickets today Smiley
This game was probably the best TI12 game. Today I read that TORONTOTOKYO said that that very epic moment when Muerta destroyed the barracks through the glyph with two rapiers, the spectators in the stadium screamed and they heard through the booth that something was happening somewhere and quickly made a Teleports. Probably because of this moment the VP lost. These are the moments in which the LAN tournament differs from the online. I will remember this game for a long time, it gave me a lot of experiences and pleasure as I expected.

Today we have games one better than the other. Now for me the greatest interest is how far the BB and GG will go in the losers' bracket. While they are destroying everyone there. If one of them ends up in the grand final it will be unpredictable.

No upsets on Day 1 as every favorite won their match,

Nouns got destroyed by Gaimin gladiators leaving TI with no NA team left.

Betboom as well won comfortably against vp who didnt really do anything

Other 2 series were much closer, LGD came back from bad laning stage to win  both maps and spirit vs liquid was always gonna  go to spirit but i think liquid played  well

LGD  and spirit look like the clear top 2 teams and upper bracket finals is gonna be amazing Cheesy

It just ended and that was a crazy game honestly. And this is like the games that we like to see during this TI. Vp did well also when they're about to lose, they've defended very well despite that they're all mega creeps. But that mistake of archer necromicon, and boots of travel 2 + x mark did the losing turn. Because it seems that VP is also exhausted and if they'll make it any longer, the chance of them losing was already there so they have to do something for them to just get on the game and have the results. On this game, the most patient have won the game and that's the BetBoom. That SB of Pure also did a lot of space for the team when most of them are dead and waiting to get revived. Overall, it's like also a finals game that I've enjoyed really much and hopefully the next game of upper brackets are going to be better than this and I don't want to see some easy games knowing that these are the greater teams than the lower one. So for this moment, these teams are already out of the TI12:

  • nouns
  • Virtus Pro

Anyone got their picks this Saturday for the International 2023? Team Spirit vs Team Liquid,

I wouldnt suggest betting against spirit vs anyone, they have looked really really good before  TI and this TI, and many people think Yatoro is the best pos 1 in dota right now, by far.

Record wise they might look similar but i would be very surprised if this doesnt end spirit 2-0

At this point , I think VP are the real dark horses of the tournament and I won't be surprised if they will somehow manage to find a way to eliminate BetBoom from TI , however , BetBoom is the type of team that accumulates more confidence with each game they play and that's why I do have BetBoom to actually reach TI finals this year but until then , VP will prove to be a hard team to knock off.

I also believe that Liquid has the best Dota 2 strategy right now and it was about time because last major and last DreamLeague season they simply had no motive to actually play Dota 2 on a high level but we forget that they had full 3 months to prepare for this with all their 6 coach drafters ( yes Liquid has a lot of coach drafters in their team behind the scenes ) and we can see right now that they been practicing a lot for this TI so that's why I'm leaning towars Liquid to actually win TI.
BetBoom Team vs Virtus.pro, the most anticipated match for me today. It will be completely unpredictable in my opinion, despite the odds. set by bookmakers. And this takes into account the fact that VP never beat TS, 9P and BB (CIS) this season. Such confrontations make TI12 a real holiday for me!

Liquid vs Team Spirit. Many people think that no one will stop TS, but if they ask me, I will answer that Liquid can do it better than other teams. Drafters decide a lot. For example, 9P had a terrible draft in their last match against GG and lost in 19 minutes! This is the fastest loss on this TI. This was a very costly mistake for them.

An epic match between BetBoom and Virtus.Pro will take place by midnight today. I am really looking forward to this match, as both of these teams are from my region, and I would like both teams to continue playing, but unfortunately they will come together in a battle in the grid. I believe that Virtus Pro will win, because they turned out to be the Dark Horse of the championship, and surprise everyone with their incredible skill, as Team Spirit surprised everyone two years ago.

Anyone got their picks this Saturday for the International 2023? Team Spirit vs Team Liquid, I feel that Team Spirit has a pretty good line up compared to Team Liquid, and I know I haven't been following a lot in the DOTA2 scene so I am flabbergasted by the current Team Liquid's line up, how did they became a European team? And when? Weren't they an NA organization? On the LGD Gaming vs Azure Ray, I would go for Azure Ray basing on their line up, they've been teammates for a long time so I assume their synergy compared to LGD would be the key difference.

BIG BIG News coming out today from csgo/cs2 esports

1) S1mple has announced he will take a leave from competitive play and focus on personal life, who would seen this coming ??
At least it's not permanent and he mentioned that he's willing to play again if there's an opportunity. When Navi wasn't doing well with this new roster, I had a hunch someone would give in, but I wasn't expecting the first player to be simple.

Also, Worlds and TI is back again later today. I couldn't place a bet on the outright markets for TI so I might just roll my Worlds bet if it hits.  Wink

I've got LNG @1.5 to win against KT Rolster for the qualifying match since there's no good reason to bet on DK vs GAM series when the odds are close to 1.1 or less.

There were some mention from S1mple about a week ago regarding why he was absent for IEM in Sydney and many had already put two and two together.
From the following video you can hear his thoughts about how the team is heading with it's players and also arguing about another person as he refers to as kid for his distaste with being part of the team.
