What really surprised me is the assignment of team on Group Stage. Most of the team on Group A are those team that didn't participate/early knock out on previous Dreamleague tournament while Group B are those team that dominate the Dreamleague and go to the second stage of the tournament. Group B teams are very strong while Group A will surely be dominated of Team Liquid since the majority of teams there is weak.

It's very tough for teams on Group B to have a dominance or to qualified. I think betting on Draw result is still the best pick for all matches if you want to be in profit on group stage.
The same can be said for Group A in terms of making it out of the groups because the teams from 2nd to 6th are only a few wins apart, aside from Team Liquid.

The teams in Group A still prefer to split a map win, so it's a good time to ride on the 1-1 trend until it falls, while in Group B, the 2-0's might be the better option since the top three teams (Quest, BetBoom, and Gaimin) won't settle with a draw.

This Major is actually fun to watch but not fun to gamble and I'm glad I don't have any spare money right now to bet in this Major because most likely I would have lost all my money haha. Hard to guess drafts , new teams that I didn't have a single game from them even if I know the players and a lot of other factors that makes this major very hard to guess on gambling.
These best of 2s are difficult to read since a couple of teams are falling off and the odds are becoming less valuable after experiencing the same format on DreamLeague a few weeks ago.

Bali Majors keeping everyone with indepth play of dota2 before the next huge tournament begins for the Riyadh Masters next month?
This seems just as big for the esports community as Wimbledon is for the tennis world in the summertime. Cool

Even the viewers on twitch are mad but the views are so low when we have Major in Asia or NA because most of the viewers are from Europe and Russia.

You're right , summer major always had a special place in Dota 2 community but I would have prefer to have it in Europe.

Just was looking to see if there were any tournaments in dota going on before the next one begins on July 11th and did notice there was the Bali majors.
Got up too late so to see any of the actions but according to @boltz it seemed like a long battle went on.
Will probably see which the next matches are and might put in a small bet later on today for this tournament.

2 hours and 16 minutes was the game between GG and Quest and somehow Quest did a mega creep comeback and won the game with 81k networth difference and a lot of rapiers were on the ground at some point  Grin Grin which simply made the game very awesome to watch but very stressing for the players even if they all had buybacks all the time.

Too bad the Major is really up in the morning like 5AM here in my country and I cannot wake up at that hour just to watch dota and them also be able to work in the noon but last 2 series can be watchable as the hour is ok for Europe as well.

It's unusual to see EG already down 0-4 against teams they shouldn't be losing two games in a row while beastcoast is doing okay against the tougher teams in the other group.

The SEA teams are already sitting at the bottom as well and I think they're the first few teams to get eliminated unless they go 2-0 in one of their two series tomorrow.

Nouns and Quest with a surprisingly good start, as I thought they were only good to win a map each series.

What a game we have in Dota 2 right now with GG and Quest fighting in Bali Major with first map being already over 105 minutes which is beyond crazy for this patch. I'm watching and Chen has double rapier on him with full carry items and his damage is over 1k hahaha Shocked. This game might go towards 130 minutes and if we have 2 hours game ...in a PRO MAJOR , it will go down in history book as one of the longest game in Dota 2 Pro history.

I believe it all depends on the venue these tournaments take place is the defining factor to the amounts of these prize pools. And of course the sponsorships who the Saudis are probably funding it in someway or another just for the exposure of the esports fans around the globe who will be tuning in to watch this numbering in the millions.
So of course they will be having local hotels, airlines and product lines be flashing their corporate presence during the timeouts and the technical delays.

Last week I had noticed Sportsbet.io had a slot featuring a CS:GO team they have been a shirt sponsor of for a few years now.
So I decided to give it a try.
Here are the screenshots I had took during my gameplay:

Of course this team member had just signed a deal to join up with Furia Grin

It was really fun as you get to choose an open box experience. I walked away with some profit but it was really fun.

Riyadh Masters has a huge prize for 1st place and looking at the liquidpedia for DOTA2 the prize pool for the entire tournament is a whooping $15 million.
https://liquipedia.net/dota2/Riyadh_Masters/2022 - $4,000,000 total
https://liquipedia.net/dota2/Riyadh_Masters/2023 - $15,000,000 total spread among places 1-20

That arabian money is really serious into Esports now.
From $4 million to $15 million is a big step up, it's almost close to the prize pool of the previous TI, and they have a better prize distribution for the lower placements.

It might even beat the prize pool of this year's TI since Valve mentioned they're moving away from the battle pass system that we're always expecting in the middle of the year, but they still plan to release an update that will fund the prize pool.

Betboom is filled with big names in DOTA 2. It is not a surprise that they will start to click. Maybe, they are just waiting for TorontoTokyo to get used to his new position. If they do not show a good finish in Bali, I am sure they will have a better finish in Riyadh.
Torontotokyo's performance in the support role is already good enough tbh. The big difference maker was the role swap they did between Pure and Nightfall, they still have some hiccups here and there, but they're probably in the top 5 if they can maintain their form.

Also, it's surprising that this year's TI qualifiers for WEU and SA will be having two spots and I guess there will be no LCQ now that the two spots are allocated for those two regions.

And more than that , they just won back 2 back 2 back Tournaments but I gotta say that BetBoom kinda trow the 5th map in this final as Doom farmed for such a long period and had such a greedy build and all he had to do was to press Doom as soon as he blinked which he never did and GG pushed high ground and game was over.
They were close to winning the series, but Pure made that one big mistake blinking in without BKB and got caught by Ace's hex to disrupt the surprise doom. That greedy move from Doom was necessary because he has to get his core items asap.

Now Gaimin Gladiators are the third team to win the DreamLeague tournament twice in a row (the other two are Team Secret and OG). Even though BetBoom failed to win the finals, they're at least starting to click, and that's what they need before heading to the Bali Major to secure a good enough placement and get a few hundred points for a TI invite.

Also, Gaimin Gladiator winning Dreamleague 2023 put Evil Geniuses, PSG.LGD, Talon, and Team Spirit qualify for Riyadh Masters 2023. There is a clause that if GG finishes top 2, Dream League placement for Riyadh Masters will increase to 5 to 6. It is good for these teams to qualify since they show great performance in this tournament. Specially Talon, they are quite a revelation this tournament.

So we will have Gamin Gladiators up against PSG-LGD for the finals in less than an hour.
My selection for the winner is Gladiators because not only are they the favorites to win this but PSG-LGD cost me a fairly nice parlay I had going yesterday when they got blanked 2-0 by BetBoom as I said I was going for both of yesterday's matches to go over 2.5 maps.

This tourney also solidifies the fact that GG is being carried not by Quinn , not by Dyraicho , not by supports but from Ace itself and it was proven in games where GG lost during this DreamLeague 20 , where whenever ACE was being shutdown across the map , GG never found a way to get back in but if ACE gets his farm and his items , he will provide time for Quinn and Dyraicho to get their items and hit the timings for a team fight. Cool

So..next major , I think teams will focus ACE way more and they won't let him die only once or twice during the games because Quinn cannot carry alone and Dyraicho is super high risk-high rewards type of carry so you can't rely on his style everytime. Also , I'm not taking anything from Selere and Tofu but ACE is really the gigachad of Gaiming Gladiators and for sure the best offlaner we saw in Dota for quite some years now.

I was with psg lgd and they really had this in their hands winning map 1 and good lead in map 2 but somehow GG turned it around. I guess morph too strong now maybe?

Im conflicted on the finals as last time i saw betboom in finals they lost to big underdog(nemiga) so i kinda like GG at non favoritws

Betboom right now is more composed and consistent compared before when they are still adjusting with their new roster. Betboom has a pot of strategy and interesting picks that makes them hard to predict for a possible counter. GG will have a hard time stopping Betboom on winning this tournament since they are still solid until now according to the game 1 result.

Its my first time seeing again Primal Beast being use on the tournament since its last meta.

Eyes on Talon today guys because they are so close to get those points to lock in their TI presence and Gaiming gladiators are their opponent today. Even if GG is considered the best team right now , Talon have the highest mmr player on the globe with 23savage and that's why I think Talon will qualify further today with a potential fight tomorrow against PSG as I think BetBoom is playing Dota 3 right now. Cool

They fall short, I thought that they already in control after winning game 1 and having a close game on Game 2 yet GG manage to close games game 2 and seal the series on game 3. Talon has a poor draft on both Game 2 and 3 which makes GG dominates them and manage a reverse sweep. Their Game 3 heroes are late game but we all know that they are always not winning lanes during early games which makes this hero choice very bad for them.

More and more teams are being qualified on the Riyadh Masters. There are still a lot of slots for the play-in seeds. This mena qualifier is taken with a very short notice and period of time, only 4 teams participants and tomorrow we'll see the qualified team.
It is better for us if there are more teams playing in Riyadh Masters. It has big pot so we know that the competition will be fierce on that tournament. DOTA fans will have a good time watching those games. Also for us bettors, we will have more chance to bet on good teams.
The Mena qualifier for the Riyadh Master is just about to get done, the finals match was Team Secret ME vs Quest Esports.

2-0 in favor of Quest Esports and this is going to be a game 5 series. But it seems that we're not going there and 1 more game away until QE will get that spot if they beat Team Secret ME on the 3rd map.

I'm not disappointed but Quest is really a tier 1 team but just underrated.
