I also saw some posts going through the subreddit, as some couldn't help but compare the level of production between the different regions. I wouldn't mind having PGL as long as they won't be the ones organizing the future majors.
Good thing that the Bali major won't be organized by them but it's going to be IO sports and Epulze. We've been seeing how Epulze is organizing these SEA DPC tournaments together with Lima major and there's no problem with them.

Valve should be picky with these majors and won't just award it to these shitty organizers that haven't done well and instead of praises, they've received criticisms.

Going for some past matches these days, Bleed swept Talon and IIRC this is the first time that they've been beaten by another sea team.

It wasn't a result that I was surprised about because I was already waiting for JDG to win the series. It was a similar result to the last LPL final series between them. BLG could have carried the series to Game 5 but they were really stomped by JDG in the last game. JDG are really something else now. They are playing like a complete team even against very tough opponents. If the final series was played with Patch 13.10 it would have been quite interesting as well. Because there is a big change for ADCs.  Grin
I was also hoping for a game 5 because of how stompy the games were, but BLG's draft in game 4 wasn't good enough for a win. The upper bracket final was more entertaining, but props to BLG for pulling the upset twice in a row.

Same goes for Sumail who right now , he is leaving his best moments of his Dota 2 careers in DPC China. More than this , DPC China is giving a lesson to PGL Dota in Europa and American because they have setup a LAN event for DPC games and they have a crowd as well. Don't sleep on this guys , because it means Dota 2 China teams will have LAN experience on every game they are playing in DPC right now.  Cool

We have left the final series in MSI behind as well and congratulations to JDG on their championship!

ATF is truly a gigachad of Dota 2 right now and he is in this form for 2 years now and I'm glad to finally see him happy with Quest because he deserves it.
Yeah, he's good with Quest and it's another underrated team and I think he's gonna have a good future with them if they keep on continuing on these tournaments gaining experiences from other pro teams. His contribution to the team will make even better because even with a short span from being part of OG and Nigma, that will tell a lot on them.

In all honesty for Xu Mail, this is one of the best transitions that I've ever seen. Most of these pro players from other regions except China, they don't want to go there because of the communication barrier but I don't know if Xu Mail really knows some basic chinese words or it's just plainly a Dota 2 communication that's happening within Team Aster. As of now, in the CN 2023, they're doing a good job at the opening of it. We might even see them again at the Bali Major.

Surprising we have Gamerlegion in the finals of this farewell tournament for CS: 1.6
Last time I remember watching them play was earlier in the major against OG.
But they must have really sharpened their Counterstrike I.Q since then as they will be facing the home ground favorites in Team Vitality for the title in this major that will be ushering out the old Global Offensive code and heralding in the new with Source 2.

And T1 are also out of MSI after Gen.G. Korean teams have said goodbye to the tournament quite earlier than I expected. I was like at least one of them would make it to the final series. But Chinese teams are really on a wonderful run these days. Especially JDG are like the best team in the world right now. They have showed it clearly in MSI so far as well.

Now the name of the finale is JDG - BLG. Let's see which one of these teams of the same country will become the winner at the end. For now my favourite side is JDG to be honest. Because JDG are currently stronger than their opponent and they proved it in LPL finale as well. I think Elk will have much bigger difficulties against Ruler compared to the other matchups so far.

Quest is such an underrated team, for those that don't know them. They're formerly known as Ooredoo Thunders. Entity is also a strong team but they've been swept by Quest so easily. And ATF is with the Quest.

Team Liquid dropped a map against D1 Hustlers just now, and it's not surprising when they went for a Windranger carry, and I already saw how that went after watching one of OG's games.
The game ended 2-1 but it's still with Team Liquid.

Two days from now, two bottom teams OG and Team Secret will have their match.

Game 3 was too easy for GG (2-1). Many have hoped that it's gonna be Team Secret that will stop GG but then, they've lost against them.
Who knows if Puppey will come up with some decent strategy that shall beat GG if ever they face it again in the near future. Team Secret has to win the other series' that they've got or else, they'll remain in the bottom standings.
Game 3 was tight until the 12th min mark, where they lost that 5v5 team fight and it was all GG after that. I thought they got a shot at winning, but GG immediately pulled away to close the series within 23mins.
Well, this happens with one single clash, and the entire game changes quickly. Too bad for Team Secret as many have been counting on them just to beat GG. It looks like GG is the villain these days but that's just the challenge for most because there is no doubt that they're the strongest now. GG is good at capitalizing and taking advantage of these situations when there's some fluke and choke being made by their opponent. Teams have to remember that when they're against GG.

Now I see that there is this JDG - T1 series in the semi finals tomorrow. I think it can be one of the most delightful series in the tournament. Because JDG won the latest LPL Spring Playoffs against BLG and their playing style has been quite impressive so far. I don't think T1 can win this by not giving any game to their opponent. But still it would most probably end up with a 3-1 or 3-2 T1 win.
Unfortunately, i'm on the JDG train, and the series felt like it was close to a grand final. Cheesy When T1 was up 2-1, I thought we'll see a 3-1 result because whenever JDG lose a 5v5 team fight T1 always sprints it down mid and destroys their base before they can defend. Luckily, T1 had a bad draft in game 4 similar to game 1, then in game 5, it came down to who will make the more costly mistake, and T1 starting a 4v5 fight hoping to get a pick off backfired and cost them the series.

JDG really won the series by 3-2 and it was a quite lovely one to watch though. I must have totally forgotten about the Ruler difference for JDG.  Grin  Gumayusi is of course a very skilled ADC but he still has much more to learn from Ruler in my opinion. Aside from that Faker was really bad in this series. I didn't understand especially one thing about him here.

He insisted on playing Nautilus mid despite losing hard every time against knight. Just why would you continue to take this big risk despite not being able to win any matchup against your opponent?

Earlier today, BLG winning against GenG was a surprise, and on top of that, it was a sweep. I wonder what was going on the side of GenG as they can't even win one map. Now there's a possibility that we might see an LPL grand final. It's tough to see BLG win against T1, but it can happen if they punish T1 for their unusual drafts.

I had high hopes for Secret in DPC tour 3 but so far they cannot find a win and this tour is stacked with talent players. They also tend to be favorites in bookies eyes so I think at some point , Secret will start to get victories in a row and hopefully they will avoid relegation because any major or even TI is not the same without Secret.

They will be play today against the best team in the world GG because that is the honest truth...there was never a team who dominated Dota 2 pro scene like GG is doing right now and I'm curious if Secret can bring a secret strategy against them. Game starts in about 3 hours from now.
What a series for GG and Team Secret. Although Team Secret has managed to win 1 map for this series the entire series has been won by GG.

Blast.tv major in Paris is about to end this weekend but we have four teams scheduled today to take the stage.
Heroic vs Faze and Team Vitality vs Into the breach

Heroic are @1.55x while Faze @2.35x while I when with Faze in their last match and won the bet. They did struggle as it went to double overtime.
I like Heroic to take this match and couple it with the later match when Team Vitality @1.12x vs Into the breach @5.50x.
Vitality are the home country favorites here so I will go with them in an acca.

Tomorrow we have Monte vs Gamerlegion and Team Liquid vs Apeks.
So very different types of teams to choose from and a difficult decision on who would win their matches.

I wasn't able to watch the G2 - BLG series yesterday due to being busy. But after watching the detailed recap of it I see that Caps was one of the bad players of the day. I saw him even finishing with stats like 1 kill and 7 deaths in one game. Caps is actually a really skilled mid laner but he can't give the expected as for strong opponents like these.

China and Korea teams are still dominating MSI and it doesn't seem like this will change. C9 are the only team left outside these countries in the tournament now. However I'm expecting them to get destroyed by Gen.G as well. NA teams are even worse than EU ones in my opinion.

Just as I said C9's fate was also the same with the other teams across Europe and North America. Gen.G put on a great show today and won comfortably by 3-0 in total.

SEA was done and I'm now into WEU. And it was a sad start for Team Secret, they've been beaten 2-0 by Team Liquid who was also 0-2 on the first day of this DPC tour 3.

Just want to go back to the SEA where Talon and Blacklist was hot on the 2nd map. But for the first map, it was an easy game for Talon, what a great Dota and perfect executions from them.

On the 2nd map, I thought that Blacklist will take it as there have been too many chokes from 23 with those chronosphere's but then still, thanks to Mikoto's storm.

This is how it looks in MSI right now. JDG were really quite comfortable against BLG by a 3-0 victory. Now they have become T1's opponent in the semi finals. However their job is going to be really difficult of course. Gen.G also tried their best against T1 but it wasn't enough this time. It feels like T1 will win by 3-1 against JDG but let's wait and see.

By the way in that case T1's opponent in the final series can be Gen.G once again. Because I think they are still the strongest team among the teams remaining in lower bracket. If this happens Gen.G will come for a revenge and they showed they had that potential the last time.  Smiley
