This was a great series of three matches and Heroic made it to the championship by 2-1 at the end. The maps were Vertigo, Mirage and Inferno - which was the decider. Interestingly none of the maps ended up with a close score but it was still nice to see solid answers from one side to another. The most impressive highlights of the match were Vitality's in general interestingly.

But Vitality couldn't maintain their resistance on Inferno I'm afraid. There was a quite tight competition in the first half as they were 8-7 behind. But Heroic played T-side much better than their opponent in the second half. Vitality were really desperate to do something there. jabbi became the MVP of the tournament by the way. He was such a great fragger in the final series as well.

That is really upsetting. I never expected Team Liquid to lose against Talon. They have been performing really well prior to this tournament. They lost yesterday but I thought they could recover today against Talon. Maybe I should stop betting for a while and wait until the group stage is over. It is easier to bet when the bracket is already set.

Lots of games happening at the same time. I'm following just a few that I am interested in. Maybe I should add Talon in the list and see if they are really good in this tournament.

Surprisingly the result of today match is upsetting with Talon sweeping Team Liquid while the other 3 is just a draw. I will bet same as yours if I will be on your shoe since the match up based on the stats should be on the heavy favorite.

I'd avoid mostly betting on the first day to 2nd day and after this group stage 1, we still got group stage 2 and I think the more serious one is on the group stage 2. But that's okay with these times, it's best to enjoy the games and bet on the side if you want to.

Well, they found Reso in Riyadh Masters, so they still have at least two tournaments to figure themselves out and find good teammates. If they fail, then I think that will be the time we can conclude that they will not not survive the last chance qualifier. Since it is extra hard to qualify through points, there are lots of good teams that will be playing for the last chance qualifier. Their chance to survive LCQ is very low. Anyway, that is still long way to go, so maybe they will get lucky again. Who knows.

You are right, the map took the full series. Both teams lost their map picks, Vertigo and Mirage. They are quite on equal footing in Inferno in the first half but when Heroic is on T-side, they really outrun Vitality. Vitality has no response to the strategy of Heroic and their defense totally collapsed. Heroic just gave up 2 rounds in the second half.

Congratulations to Heroic for finally winning this season. They deserve this win. They were always coming short this season ending in the Semis or coming short in the finals. But this time, they finally lift the trophy. Congratulations to Cadian for revitalizing his career.

There is some ban for advertising or sponsorship of football teams being rolled in which might promote this alternate field of esports with even more sponsorship, can only be a good thing for teams and the health of the leagues overall I think.

I've watched the match of theirs against Talon and it's just a tie and the last match that they've in was with TSM and it's also 1:1. This is still the day 1 and most teams are still experimenting, the games are on going right now.

They did great. It was one hell of a round. Imperial was standing their ground, forcing an overtime against Heroic in Nuke. They were down 8 rounds, 7-15 in favor of heroic. It was amazing they were able to win 8 straight rounds. In a moment there I thought Imperial was taking it all the way to the Finals. But Cadian came back to life and took command in overtime and eventually beating Imperial 19-17.

On the other match of semi finals, Vitality (2-1) won against G2. G2 won the first map which is Anubis but they got stamped in the second map which was Inferno. In Nuke, G2 was standing their ground on the first half but they were totally stamped in the second when Vitality is on CT side.

It will be an exciting game later in the Finals between Heroic and Vitality. I am betting on Heroic to win Blast Premier Spring Finals 2023.

I watched that series and Team Vitality were caught sleeping after that dominating T-side Overpass from Imperial and then their struggles continued in Vertigo. I guess they're not as hungry to get a high placement for this tournament since they already qualified for the World Finals.

Now the upper bracket matchup should be a cruise for G2 since they looked solid against Cloud9, and this is a much easier matchup as I think Vitality doesn't care as much playing into this tournament.

Blast Premier Spring final day one is in the books and Faxe clan just beat a dismal Astralis team which I haven't seen win a match in their past tournaments. I think they need a revamp of their roster to become a contending team once again.
The highlight to the first day of the tournament were Imperial Esports who beat the hot squad of Team Vitality who were just coming off their championship win in the Paris Blast.tv final

Imperial is looking like a solid team with their roster consisting of: Vini, Boltz, FalleN, Jota and Chelo.
