TI13 was not as bright for me as the others, but in general it is the most anticipated tournament for me, I just put everything aside and watch the games, because I get real pleasure from it. Nevertheless, I wondered how many more TIs we will see, because the 13th is already something that other games have not managed to do. This is a really cool result.
Probably because of the prize pot for this TI13. While it's a chunk from the bigger prize pools in the past, still, the glory and pride of winning a title from the TI is still something different.

A title from the makers of the game itself is honorable and will be forever in the history of this game.

Looking forward to a better TI next year because Valve said that they're investing now more to the game and not with the skins.

I just felt bit sad for Team Liquid players that the champion of the Riyadh Masters 2024 earned more which is the Gamin Gladiators compared to the champion of The International 2024 Team Liquid. In the Riyadh Masters the prize was $1,500,000 for Champions while in The International it was only around $1,100,000. But I guess it’s fine because being 'The International Champion' is still different, as it’s considered the biggest event in the Dota 2 scene, regardless of the prize pool. Besides, The International has proven that Dota 2 is still alive and well. Dota 2 is not Dead Game.

Yes, you are probably right, and despite the difference in prize money, the status of TI13 champions will remain in the memory almost forever. As for me, I am sure that I will not remember the winners of RIADA, and I will be able to remember half of the winners of all TIs even in old age, lol.

First of all there’s no RIADA tournament. It’s Riyadh Masters which is just new tournament but has a huge reward but this year reward is relatively small compared to the previous year.

T13 is still hype and popular. Probably you are not that updated on e-sports. Also Dota2 is one the oldest e-sports that has tournament which means TI will keep coming as long as Dota2 community will still active.

It’s true. Only the title of TI what makes it premium but on the bright side they do earned 800K on Riyadh as 2nd place compared to what GG earned as 2nd place in TI which is just 300K.

Overall, Both GG and Liquid earned almost equal for both TI and Riyadh Master total prize pool. I think having a revenge on a team that keeps beating them in the finals is already satisfaction guarantee for Liquid on this win.

My bet lost and so as the other folks here that bet for GG, the whole curse was broken by Team Liquid. Congratulations!
Team Liquid had the better game plan in this grand final, Boxi's Tusk and insania's Shadow Demon are always quick with the disengage whenever one of their cores is getting focused down. Gaimin Gladiators tried to steal away their heroes and even banned most of 33's best heroes, and it still wasn't enough to win a map.
I agree, it was really a turning point every engagement from GG because of box's tusk snowball save and then disruption made by insania's shadow demon. That's what I have noticed from what quinn or any of the three cores have been doing wrong, they're targeting the wrong heroes for them to kill first. It's so late when they've realize that if they're against Team Liquid, tusk should be an autoban.

I'm glad Tundra kept that final lower bracket competitive because if they got 2-0'd by Gaimin Gladiators, I might've put my money on them over Team Liquid.  Tongue
It would have been a different if it's with Tundra. Finally, the real chain and curse has been broken by this roster. 33 is now a 2-time TI champ as well.

Man, I lost too much in the championship last night, I did not even finish the game after they lost in the first 2 games, it's extremely disappointing yet I'm happy with Team Liquid, their roster right now is the best and they deserve it, especially Nisha! He is so strong.
Many of us have counted for GG on that grand finals but Team Liquid proved us wrong.

Well, see you everyone at the next tournament of Dota, which is the PGL Wallachia Season 2, this coming October 4, 2024.
There are still some other tournaments as of now but they're just minors like the RES EU which is about to happen later this day.

Yes sir... Lucky Team Liquid took the game 1.
I remember how Tundra took game 1 and then they took game  2 and game 3.
So this time, I'm betting game 2 that will go to Gaimin' Gladiators as they are also first pick with Naga Siren which it is always the first ban.
So, it's more likely high chance to win if you have Naga Siren. We will see.

As I mention previously, Whoever wins the game always win the series. With Liquid get the game 1 which means it's already easy for them to win all the remaining game because they already have the confidence to win the series.

I'm not sure how GG can even break Liquid with this kind of momentum. GG hero pick is kinda not their style already which is just a defensive pick.

Team Liquid do a great job on acquiring 33 as replacement with Zai. seems like 33 is the missing pieces for Team Liquid to finally get the aegis.

Yeah, 33 is a consistent offlaner even on Tundra he is the one that keeps dictating the tempo of the game.

Despite all of those records and histories, all I can say with these matches is that it's always been predictable.

But yesterday's matches I think were the first time that I've seen that all of the matches were in a clean sweep for all of the losers.

Now, the game of Cloud 9 and Team Falcons have started and they're on the picking phase, let's enjoy the series.

With this game I guess its time for Team Liquid to claim again with their aegis of the immortal they have a really good draft, but I didn't set a side right here the gameplay of the Tundra if topson and saksa will make their way out to this series, currently watching the game of the Tundra vs Xtreme gaming, XG will lose their next game its the last time we will see the previous LGD Ame to have an attempt to his aegis and still he will be called as the uncrowned king and if topson wins again another TI its a high value again if he will recruit to other team.
They're able to claim the aegis again, the organization Team Liquid but with a different roster from the first one that they have it on this The International.

Tundra was able to make top 3 and they're able to do it even with just a week of practice before TI. That's commendable and they did improved a lot even their roster isn't complete.

Sad for Ame to see gone away, many are rooting for him to win this TI. He's still an uncrowned king and congratulations to Team Liquid, easy 3-0 for them.

Team Liquid looked like the best team during whole TI. Really deserved title and it was fitting that they take against GG who won a lot of BO5 against them in recent past.

I was rooting for Topson and Tundra but GG were way too good for them both today and few days ago in upper bracket.
It's a swept, 3-0 for Team Liquid compared to the past tournaments that they have against GG, they've done a reversal. And as for Topson, they did great against GG but it was just so hard for them on the third game because of mega creeps.

Once again, I congratulate Team Liquid for being this year's TI champion. Well deserved and well done to GG as well. I've heard blitz's interview, he credited everyone, every staff of the team. He was emotional.

I'm always rooting for Liquid but it's always different scenario when they are against their nemesis GG on grand finals. So far Liquid is always choking when it comes T1 Grand finals so I will skip placing bet for match winner on Liquid since GG is good on crucial games.

Game 1 is always a mind games between this 2 teams since whoever win the 1st game always win the series.

Let's go Liquid.

Liquid now massacring GG with their insane line-up and supports providing a lot clutch save with their cores. I thought game 1 will be another choke game for Liquid but they manage to bounch back with just few success team fight.

Boxi is insanely good with his Tuskar. GG should respect ban now this pesky support or at least pick it for them because it's very hard to beat when Boxi use it. Also 33 is so consistent on providing space and damage with his offlane heroes that proven unstoppable on both game 1 and 2.

Last match of The International 13, GG versus Team Liquid.
I will bet starts now, but I will still bet per game, it will be depends on the picks of team per game, but I am really expecting that Gaimin' Gladiator will win this championship.

Gaimin' Gladiator proved their last match against Tundra for 70 minutes+ that they is really for championship match.

Everyone, share your bet slip or insights, we might able to help other to analyze upcoming games  Cheesy

The map 3 was intense, both teams can really win and I thought it's the actual grand finals but not yet, GG won and so as my bet. GG to Tundra for doing a great game.

We're on the grand finals, GG versus Team Liquid. I'd still go with GG and let us enjoy this bo5 series. I think that it will reach to that number of games and even GG is exhausted with 3 games a while ago, they can handle such pressure.

I'm still in between thinking about the top 3 match for Tundra and GG, my heart tells me to bet for Tundra but my mind went through GG so as my bet goes to GG. Still, I'm having fun and good luck y'all.
We're in the same boat, Gaimin Gladiators should still have the upper hand based on their last meeting.
We both win this match, congrats but it's not the last one we've got.

So far the lower bracket finals between Tundra and GG is the most even and worth watching fight on this TI. Both teams are so good and you can't determine who's gonna win because the lead goes back and forth.

The last play of GG using Underlord portal all-in to the throne is so good. I thought they might get wipe out with one setup by Tundra but the damage is so massive while there's no fortification available on their side.

Still nice game for Tundra though.

It's difficult to bet right now on the winner, I want to bet on GG but multiple times lost betting against Tundra, time I will go first on map 1 duration for over 38 minutes, it's good odds. This is the lower bracket and the last day of the tournament, I expect most of the games from now on will be longer,  late games.

I also bet on under 2.5 total maps, and the first 10 kills for both maps for GG.

I may bet once after the draft of map 1, let's see. I'll be posting my bets for this last day of The International here.

This match up seems tight while Liquid already get game 1 on very convincing way. Micke WR is so fucking crazy on dealing damage and control. I never thought that Liquid will overcome their great gatekeeper on tournaments on the Upper Bracket finals of TI.

With this kind of level play, I think these 2 will just do rematch in the finals after this upper bracket match.  Grin
It's been a while since we saw Team Liquid this dominant, Gaimin Gladiators paid the price by letting Windranger go through twice and there's a reason why it's one of the most contested heroes in this tournament.

I'm expecting Gaimin Gladiators to reach the finals as well, their loss from Team Liquid should wake them up and I doubt they'll draft that badly again.

This is the most awaiting match in the lower Bracket, Quin vs Topson and this will be decided the game, I don't know if the tundra will pick the same win hero to them like they used to XG which is the syllabear, if Tundra will win this game Topson have the chance to win again another TI and if GG wins the game they will get their first TI after getting always a 1st runner up against TS in their previous encounters or else Team Liquid again will have their 2nd aegis with new players.
