The first tournament ahead of them now is ESL Challanger Katowice. Here they will face B8 in the opening match of the group. I think they can easily finish 1st in this tournament, which will give them a chance to qualify for ESL Pro League Season 21.
They're the strongest team out of all the participants so this should be their tournament to lose. We'll also get to see Team Falcons play with s1mple and the matchup could get interesting if they'll be the second team in the group to make it to the playoffs.

My bets for today with the two remaining games that we have, the other one was for later.
At least you went 1-1 after the matches earlier today. Team Liquid almost made the 2-0 happen, but there's too much threat from the side of BetBoom with their heavy hitting lineup.

My two bets already lost, the Aurora vs Nouns and Yakult brothers vs Tundra, the results were opposite. If I just bet for the match winner for Aurora and then draw for Yakult vs Tundra, I should have won those bets. The two other bets are upcoming in the next matches that's about to start in a few.
That's what discouraged me with the three-way markets and bo2 formats. Teams could underperform or overperform and then do the opposite in the next series. I'm surprised that the Yakult brothers are doing well by getting a map from Tundra and Liquid after their early exit from the PGL Wallachia tournament.
Even though I know that bo2 series' are quite hard to predict but I get excited in betting in them and it's a challenging part to bet on. Anyway, this won't be long though and we're already on the 2nd day, and tomorrow is going to be the last day for the group stages.

My first day, quite bad. 1-3

My bets for today with the two remaining games that we have, the other one was for later.

I think Eternal Fire has moved to Hungary. We can say that the conditions there are better and at least they will be able to prepare for tournaments with a clear head. In the next process, if the news is true, we can see a more successful Eternal Fire. The first tournament ahead of them now is ESL Challanger Katowice. Here they will face B8 in the opening match of the group. I think they can easily finish 1st in this tournament, which will give them a chance to qualify for ESL Pro League Season 21.

I'm glad T1 played so cleanly yesterday against TES and treated their previous loss in the last meeting seriously.

I'll trust Gen. G to do the same on their series since they'll be playing against the weakest team that qualified in the playoffs. I've included another leg to make the odds slightly better, and expect BB Team to be competitive enough to grab a map off Team Liquid.

Yeah kinda unexpected but Im waiting for tomorrow. T1 going to play tomorrow. Faker should win his 5th trophy then retire. Dude has been playing since 17 years old and I just noticed that his winnings are only $1.7M. Thats pretty low considering that T1 is a decent team, they might not win everything but they are atleast the top 5 on average on most tournaments for years
I'm looking forward to T1 as well and locked in this bet. Those are probably tournament winnings and in the LoL scene, they don't mean as much when most of the top players have big contracts. I remember watching a video where they mentioned about his contract getting leaked and the money he's making was similar to an entire LCK team's budget (like Gen.G).

NA is gradually losing all the spotlight they hog for years huh
It's also happening in other competitive scenes, and it's probably because some of the esports titles aren't as popular in a few regions that's why they're starting to lose their top position in the scene after so long.

Great, after PGL Walachia we have BB Dacha then we continue with DreamLeague afterward. Cant ask for better schedule this month. Anyway I just noticed that there wasnt any qualifiers for SA teams in BB Dacha lol. I was actually expecting Heroic to be in this tournament as well but oh well we have GG, Team Spirit, Team Liquid and even Tundra with their original roster so this is going to be exciting
The organizers probably saw the regression of both regions that's why they combined both SA and NA. I'm also surprised Heroic isn't here, they're not even in the qualifiers so they probably turned down the closed qualifier invite and focused on PGL Wallachia which paid off for them.

Weird, atleast they will be on DreamLeague. I also just realized that there were 2 spots for SA teams in DreamLeague while there were only 1 for NA. NA is gradually losing all the spotlight they hog for years huh

The Worlds knockout stage also kicked off yesterday with a 3-1 upset by Weibo Gaming their pre-live odds was 5.00~ and I think this series was the second one sided odds we've got after the Gen G. match.

My bets are ready now for tomorrow's BB Dacha Belgrade, there are a lot of games lined up but they're best of 2 and this is the hardest part every group stages when they're only bo2. I have bet for 2 match winners and 2 draws. Good luck everyone.

They're always getting outmacro by LNG forcing pressure on the other side of the map then they took one risky move to turn it around and it always worked out in their favor. I can't wait for the next series as it'll be against the first seed LCK team (HLE) and the first seed LPL team (BLG).

As we wait for the BB Dacha within few days. There's something going on with CCT Series 4. They're now in the playoffs and it was nonstop for today but didn't placed some bets, maybe on the semis or grand finals. By the way, here is their current bracket. We only have few familiar names there.

Alot of uncertainty on lower tier tournaments like this. I probably would bet on VP if I had to. They would win everything most likely without losing a single map
You're right about these kinds of tournaments, they're prone into you-know, 322 and if they get caught they're risking all of their careers. And guess what? the CCT is now in the grand finals and VP is there and pretty much likely that they will beat Dragon Esports club easy as with the playoffs, they have never got any loss to their matches and they've played against this team in the early part of the playoffs. Still, let us see if something is going to happen with them as this is a best of 5 series. There could be some twists that we might see but yeah, VP has got the upper hand on this tournament.

At least we'll be back with the tier one matches soon since BB Dacha is kicking off on the weekend.

Like the comments that I've read about Heroic's success, K1 hector was the problem.
They're somewhat correct because greedy core playstyles aren't as thriving as before and Heroic bringing in Parker brought in some flexibility.
I agree, K1 Hector was great but then he's past his prime. He's a good farmer but dota 2 isn't just all about farming. Parker is very flexible, I like his playstyle and his SF was something to be scared of.

Navi won the grand finals at IEM Rio, they experienced many difficulties in this tournament, but still no team could eliminate them.
MOUZ were good in the finals, I can say that the maps were mostly close.
I was expecting OT on the Ancient map. In the last round, IM played a good clutch and did not let it become OT.
They're slightly struggling because of the minimal break time between the tournaments they've been participating in plus they're one of the few teams that play until the end with all these grand final runs.

IEM Rio had their grand final as well with NaVi winning 3-1 against Mouz, it almost went the distance when Mouz had a clean 10-2 half on the fourth map then NaVi pulled the same dominant half and more by only dropping one round to close out the series.

Won the first match yesterday and also the match winner as my 2nd bet.

Thanks and congrats on winning your first map bet, Heroic almost won that in the end, but Team Falcons surprised them with the buybacks and TP to their base for the gg push.

It's also unreal that Heroic managed to win the next three maps and deny Team Falcons their first trophy after TI.
Thanks too. The first map was so close and I'm glad that I did bet on Team Falcons for that map but the match winner, I've placed 5.00 odds with Heroic and won as well.

K1's removal from the team might've been a blessing in disguise allowing Heroic to reach new heights.  Cheesy

Well done by heroic and I've lost this bet with Tundra. Heroic is now in the grand finals against Team Falcons and my bet for map 1 is with the Team Falcons, let's go ammar!

Haha, congratulations ralle! Heroic won your bet. I should have taken that bet and believed on the SA dotes. Anyway, good luck to them against Team Falcons. This is now a bo5 series.

We're already on the semi-finals, Tundra and Heroic but I'd go for now with Tundra. And Team Falcons are waiting in the grand finals whoever wins the semis.
We'll be on opposite sides again. The script has been the same for their matches and it's been a while since we've seen an SA team reach the grand final.  Grin

DK - WBG
G2 - BLG
FLY - TL

What do you think about these matches? Who will qualify you think?  Smiley
If i'll put my money on the line, it'd be WBG, BLG, and FLY.

DK has been struggling against LPL teams (LNG and TES), and even if WBG is slightly shaky with their performance DK needs to step it up like T1 did against BLG.

BLG should eliminate G2. After G2 kept it competitive against HLE and T1 in the previous rounds, they're easily punished by these good teams. They'll need to play like the old G2 to have a shot against the LPL's best.

Got 1-2 for today, the two losses were really so close but that's it, the brightest minds have shown who they were and one of them is 33.

The Heroic bet is a ballsy play, they could maybe take one map out of Team Falcons, but I doubt they'll slip for the second time and lose the series.
You're right on this one but I'd just take a gamble and let's see if some twist will be made by Heroic later.
Exactly what I had on my ticket. Heroic +1.5 and now that it passed I added a bit more on Heroic victory. I feel like when team gets 2 map in a long game, even if the team is underdog odds for game 3 should be about even. 2.4 on Heroic seems like a value for me.
It was a value but in the end, they've lost. That was really a close call though as they're able to win one map.

Good luck to both of us, now that made me worry about the match winner but I hope both of us wins.
They easily secured my handicap after winning the first map, but I felt bad after they slipped badly on the second map and i'm impressed Tundra kept their composure after losing several team fights, it looked hopeless when they couldn't do much against their big ults.

Tundra's macro was disgusting as well, they're the first ones to get a lane of rax while beastcoast took their sweet time before they started sieging the high ground.
That's true, I was disappointed while watching it. And the main reason was 33's familiars, it was crazy and despite that they're on the lead, 33 was able to do something to prolong the game and even flipped it.

We're already on the semi-finals, Tundra and Heroic but I'd go for now with Tundra. And Team Falcons are waiting in the grand finals whoever wins the semis.

I was looking at the remaining matches of IEM Rio 2024 today.
Wasn't the Navi and Heroic match very interesting, a great comeback, how did Navi turn around the series they lost, this is true professionalism.
Heroic did a good job on the Ancient map. In the second map, Heroic was ahead 9-3 in Dust2 and it seemed like everything was over.
Navi did whatever it took and took it to overtime, won the Dust2 map and the match went to the decider.
The Decider map was Mirage and Navi had no trouble at all.
