Still with Dota 2 duels that I have bet for today but I am sure stake is still waiting for some schedules from the bookies. As the DreamLeague season 25 for Opening Qualifiers for all regions are already there and teams that will participate have already been named.
They might start putting up the markets tomorrow once we know the teams who'll be in the grand final match, they used to do it back in the previous open qualifiers, but the odds are usually not worth it.
We will see, I'll check the markets later if some are already in the books and I hope so before hours the games commence.

Heroic just got an upgrade with Wisper being their new offlaner and even though it's unfortunate for OG to lose one of the best offlaners, still props to them for allowing him to make the switch.

Wisper back to SA then. I think that he's effective more with his homeland team together with his co-SA players.

And with some Dota2 Duels, this is also for the same tournament so I'm taking on a bet on a random guy I don't even know but let's see. This is for fun!

Still not too much action. Anyone who's into CS2 duels? There is the Berserk CS2 league currently happening now.

I've won this CS2 duels in Berserk League.

I'm not a fan of it, but it's an interesting category to scratch your esports itch during these break times. It reminds me of the showmatch or 1v1 tiebreakers you'd see in the big tournaments once in a while.
Yeah, while there's a break, it's fine to get some of these CS2 duels.

One good news that got announced recently was bzm's move to Tundra, and I guess the dyrachyo announcement will come next. Once the carry replacement happens, i'd imagine their skill ceiling would be through the roof.

Just as you've said, they've also announced dyrachyo as their carry: https://x.com/TundraEsports/status/1874085642520412648/photo/1
Their page is also updated with their new roster.

Not that much tournament for dota 2 as of now, so moving with CS2 temporarily and I've bet for insilio against Heimo Esports.

Fortunately, I've won this bet.

In fairness to Kuku, with his comeback and being a standin first with Talon Esports into being a main stay, he's helped the team being qualified to Fissure Belgrade.
I thought he wouldn't last that long when they finished last in BB Dacha, but at the same time, they had some upgrades to their roster after having success with Natsumi in the MESA tournament.
He's doing good at his pace and I am happy to see him do well, so welcome back to him at international stage.

We could also see some tier-one teams getting upgrades in the near future as rumors are starting to spread about BetBoom replacing kiyotaka for gpk, Spirit gaining Collapse back and Tundra possibly dropping Nightfall for dyrachyo.
I am not sure about Team Spirit but aside from Collapse, it's possible that they might regain one more player from the original roster, I don't know who's that. And speaking of Tundra, I've read rumors yatoro going there?

I think Donk will be the best player of the year. Team Sprit came first in Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 and Donk was the biggest actor in winning.
We need to look at other tournaments, one tournament is not enough to deserve first place, but Donk is a deserving player of 2024 with his success in general tournaments.
2024 events considered and categories, Super-elite: IEM Katowice, PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen, IEM Cologne, Perfect World Shanghai Major
He should be the #1 player on this year's list as his ratings are slightly above the other top contenders like m0nesy and Zywoo. Even if they lost to Faze in the final, he'll probably still take the top spot since it's more on the player's consistency in putting up these insane ratings.

I'm looking forward in where his teammates would be placed at because even though Donk is always popping off there are times when it's not enough to get them to the finish line.
At worst Donk will be in the 2nd place because his ratings were great in 2024.
Donk and sh1ro's ratings were quite high in the matches, their other teammates were not enough, if they were there Team sprit would have won more trophies last year. Actually I can say that he didn't have a bad year in magixx.
Sh1ro will most likely be in the top20, I can't be sure about the other players.

I think that as time passes by and we grow older, they're on that stage that they should try younger new aspiring pro players.

Well actually I got no complaint when it comes to Miracle and Sumail playing on the team. They might not be as good as 5 years ago but they are still pretty decent. They probably wont really win any Major, I cant even imagine they winning but definitely still be able to get atleast top 3. They got the skill to back their old age up but it wasnt this case for Kuroky.
They are still stars and past their prime but I agree to you that there's no complaint with the two. But I think a better position 4 and 5 players will help them better. GH was once amazing but I think he's faded already.

Puppey and Kuku are actually the other two players that I'd love to be kicked from any roster, they are both far past their prime

This bet, lost.  Cry

I was cheering for Nigma but they've failed again this time. That was so close yet they didn't able to make it and Avulus was just the stronger team.

Well the thing is, Nigma has improved by miles compared when they had Kuroky on the roster but its still not enough. Nigma is always spoiled by having the easy qualifiers on Meswa but when it comes to WEU region, they are not even on top 5 so anytime they play on WEU qualifiers then I kinda doubt that they will even qualify. Totally would love to watch them win and qualify but I doubt that happening anytime soon
I agree, they've got easy path on MESWA/MENA but it's completely a different arena in the WEU region. The great teams are there as well but you're right, they're miles better now because they're able to reach the grand finals for this qualifier but AVULUS just stopped them. I think that as time passes by and we grow older, they're on that stage that they should try younger new aspiring pro players.

So with this betting slip of mine, I've got 1-1. I've missed the grand finals this weekend but still, Congratulations to Talon Esports.
My Mongolz over didn't make it, but at least I got it back and more through Talon's grand final win. I got lucky with these early odds from Talon since it quickly moved to 1.50 after a few minutes.

The WEU qualifiers ended too with Avulus securing the spot over Nigma Galaxy, they tried all kinds of draft and nothing worked out for them as Avulus was consistently good.

Congratulations to you that you did bet on the grand finals for Talon. Going on with the other two remaining regions, the EEU and China. The matches that these regions have got is hard to bet for me, but I'd still go with one match in China but for just winning at least one map.

These pro playing gamblers have lost our bet.  Undecided
Well done to Execration, I guess that putting faith on them against the Mongolz later might be worth it. I still have one bet to conclude today and that's Talon and Boom, I hope Talon recovers my loss yesterday and win the match as of typing this.  Smiley
Talon kept it clean as they got a tight 2-0 win against Boom. I still like Boom for today's lower bracket finals against Mongolz, but the odds are leaning heavily on their side and the over could be worth a try considering the Mongolz are not that far off from their level.

Hopefully, we get another Boom vs. Talon matchup later on so we have some good odds for the grand finals.
While my earlier Talon bet against got a 2-0. They still ended up fighting in the finals against each other. Talon took the victory and is now qualified going to Belgrade. Well done to this team, they did really a good job showing how good this roster they've got now.
