Since we're talking about bans here in Dota 2. Look, there's another banned player in the SEA and that's the Young Galacticos, they're disqualified already on closed qualifier. KSH, is banned for lifetime from Epulze but I guess Valve will also have to step in on this. He did scripting and that's really no good when you're in a competition.

Yangon Galacticos have been disqualified from the DPC 2023 SEA Winter Tour CQ, KSH has been found guilty of scripting and receives a lifetime ban from Epulze, remaining teammates are banned until further notice, pending a more extensive investigation.

No more YG on the finals lower bracket, whoever wins with Drink Water and Lilgun will now be moving and proclaimed into Division 2.

So many bans early in the season. Valve is more serious this year in implementing bans on cheaters, which is good. We do not want cheating, especially in pro games. It destroys the league and our bets, if we are betting.

DPC WEU Closed Qualifier Upper Bracket finals are about to start. The match is between OLG and Ooredoo Thunders. Old G odds is at 1.30 and Ooredoo is at 3.30. I think Old G has an upper hand but the odds are not enticing to bet on. I think the handicap -1.5 maps with odds of 2.0 is a better line to bet on.

I am not a fan of Valve as well but I agree that cheaters should be banned right away. No excuses for them. It will send a stern warning to DOTA 2 professionals that one single cheating in the system can destroy their careers and denies their dreams of playing on the biggest stage.

I already forgot the exact new DPC system this season but a single replacement will cost a team higher points than the last season. Eastern Europe is a challenging region where Virtus.pro is trying to return back to its former glory days. Yet they will be sacrificing points this early.
They deserve that and I agree with you. As long as there's a strong punishment to any type of cheating, Valve has to do their thing and that's to permaban them.

The early days, there were some exception like for Solo where the legendary "322" meme was born and he never tried it again, luckily for him.

But to the other players that might get invited to cheat and be against to the system and include the official tournaments, well, they don't see themselves having a good dota 2 career.

@Balmain  m0nesy is improving his game really fast. I think he really deserved the MVP prize in the Blast Premier World Final tournament. He has a really bright future and it makes me exciting that he plays this strong at his current age. I believe he has a bigger potential than s1mple. m0nesy can be the best AWPer if he goes on like this.

This is the list of top players in 2022.

It's amazing to see XANTARES in the 2nd position. I would like to point out a great detail there as well. He has played so many more maps than the others but he still keeps his KDA rate at a wonderful level. I think he deserves to be at the top if we compare the efficiency according to the number of maps played.

Big players who are MVPs at big events. We are ending the year 2022 and the best performing players are here. Do you think there is a player who deserves to be MVP but has never won a tournament MVP?

On the other hand M0nesy got his first MVP, do you think he will be stable in the future, Do you believe this success will continue?

es3tag was pulled to the Bench by the Nip team and was freed in its moves. There was a team on the rise with the NIP device, they are losing their players one by one. We see ninjas getting away from the competition.

The penalty is 20% of the total points accumulated up to the time the player is replaced. DPC season has just started so there is nothing to deduct and they will not be losing any points in this department.

But in Majors, it is 40% per player substituted. That is a lot of deduction. Their DPC points are almost halved in Majors. They will have a hard time qualifying through DPC points because of this. Maybe, their option will be Last Chance Qualifiers to get into TI.

Early in the DPC season, Valve had already set bans to 10 professional DOTA players due to account sharing. They will not be able to play to any tournament that involves Valve and PGL.

https://dotesports.com/dota-2/news/valve-permanently-bans-virtus-pro-player-and-others-from-dota-2-events-for-account-sharing

What a way to start the DPC season Cheesy We haven't started the run for this year's DPC and we already have a lot of players banned. This should already set an example to players who are looking to sacrifice their career for qualifications or other shenanigans and advancements on the DPC. Not really a fan of Valve or PGL but these two organizers make up almost 100% of the tournaments in Dota 2, with the rest being handled by other smaller orgs/minor tournaments that offers very little prize money, so it is also in my best interest that Valve banned these guys for the future of Dota 2.

It was an easy game for them, at least for the first map.
I was able to watch the first game/map of Old G and Blink and I'd say that it wasn't an easy game for Old G. Blink is strong at the first game and I thought that they'll snatch a win to the Old boys.

The game was actually close but more favored to Blink on its first 30 minutes.

But then after that half hour, they've managed to take the lead due to the good clashes that they've initiated. Actually, the silencer of Blink is wrong on its timing for its global silence. It should be like a counter global silence but it does the initiation global silence so, Old G took the time to take advantage on its wrong usage of its ulti.

Former VP player and an ex-Alliance player. These aspiring pro players should just go through the typical way of playing and avoid doing activities that are against Valve's and other organizers policies.

I just wish them all the best so that this is going to be a serious team and I guess they are also testing the waters if they can get the TI title for the third time.

It was an easy game for them, at least for the first map. I was not able to watch the second map. There were times Blink was a threat, but OLG was able to weather it. Topson still has his tendency to go too deep in the enemy ranks and too far from his teammates that get free kills for Blink. But he still has a very good performance of 15-13-15. Notail has a decent performance for a guy who was away from the game for a year. They will not find a tough opponent here in the qualifiers but a good warm-up for them until they meet a tougher opponent.
Yeah, I can say that it's too ez for them. As usual, these guys are good to go and likely to go to division 1 too easy. Unlike the other good teams that has a known roster, they're struggling.

In my opinion, I'm not just used to see no one playing pos 1. But I guess that there will be more time for me to see him play well with the team and it'll be a continuous success.

The most remarkable match of the day for me was saw-spirit. Saw team started the match 1-0 ahead due to the upper bracket advantage. Although the first map played was the nuke map chosen by spirit, spirit failed to win. As such, it became difficult for them to win the match. The match was going in the middle, but it was a match lost with simple mistakes for spirit. Spirit had the better roster but they couldn't win the match.

The closest attention getting tournament on CS: GO is IEM Katowice Play-In. However there is still more than one month to go for it to start.

The teams joining the tournament directly are Heroic, Outsiders, G2, Liquid, FaZe, Natus Vincere, MOUZ and Vitality. The last eight teams are going to be decided by Play-In matches. We are talking about a tournament whose prize pool is 1 million dollars. IEMs are already among the most important tournaments of course. We have just left Blast Premier behind and we saw some weaknesses in some big teams as well. This tournament can be considered as another chance to rise for them. They have pretty much time to get prepared well but let's see. Natus Vincere or FaZe should be able to reach the finale this time.

With that odd, well, it's really for fun.

Old G is just a few matches away to be qualified to PGL and division 2. I don't want to say that it's for sure and we don't know if some good opponents from those unknown teams will take them down luckily.

2 games away exactly. At this rate, they have pretty much secured the spot already. They are basically a team that consist of experienced players so nailing the qualifiers are easy for them. Normally, teams from qualifiers get signed by some organization after they secured the spot so I kinda want to know which organization would sign the owner of OG's team lol
Around 30 minutes after my post, the game is about to start.

Haha!

They're already part of an org though, OldG.  Grin

Nice joke. I think this team is just for fun and to get notail up to speed with the new meta. Topson also admits that this is not a serious team since he mentioned the reason he did not join "serious teams" this DPC season. I am just curious how far this team will go.

Most of them are not "too old" to play Dota, hence why they are still crushing it and are still acing almost every game that they play on. Just imagine having TI winners in your team with great strategists like Ceb, N0tail and MSS in one team? Lots of nerding out when it comes to strats and drafts for sure. I honesty enjoy seeing them play and making some weird picks work ina a very conventional Dota match that has most of the meta heroes on the opposing team. Seeing Viper get utilized as a budget Leshrac is also fun too. Made some of my matchmaking games weird but hell, at this rate Old G can compete in some Minors and possibly Manors if they keep the pace.

Oh they are not "old". I think old refers here as the previous team. I just hope they complete the team with ana and jerax so it really would be the old OG.

Thinking of betting Old G just for the sake of fun then I look up at the odds, look what I found lol

I guess this is part of the routine that Im going to find atleast until they start playing on division 2 again huh. Well it just doesnt make any sense to bet on qualifiers games but its Old G though so I thought I might want to bet on them lol

But yeah, it's all about their chance is the highest apart from other teams that's also part of this closed qualifier. The only other team that I might say that's also good on that qualifier is Monaspa.

Even though I know they will not lose, I still want to watch that game just to see if notail is going to be back to his old competitive self after the long break that he has.

You are right, it does not make sense to bet on qualifiers, especially if the odds would be like this. Old G is just too heavy a favorite at this point. But if I am going to watch it anyway, I better put some money in it.
