In the CN region, I also saw Burning trying his chances to qualify for the closed qualifier and they only need one series win to make it in.
Wow, I've missed this guy and IIRC he's been like the coach or adviser to Team Aster. I guess he's got a lot of time to do some competition on his own and play as a pos 1. One more loss and he's out for the fourth try in the open qualifier.
And AFAIK, along with burning's popularity before, there's this player named, Yamateh is also back and is playing with team NerdRig.

It seems easy for the Old G to qualified there since most teams aren't that known and got lesser experience than them, so let's expect them to be with Division 2 teams and I think that's where the clash will start but still, I'm counting on them to get qualified for Division 1.
It only looks like it but when you watch some of the games you'll be surprised at how the other teams can also be as good and keep the series competitive.

So the Open Qualifiers for WEU as well as other region has started, anyone know any betting site for these games?
I've seen Loot.bet offer some odds for the open qualifier matches but I haven't used them since they require KYC.

Team Liquid really wants to be a double TI winner no matter what and they just transfer Nisha to be their mid from now on and personally I didn't expect at all this move , or to be more specific , I didn't expect Nisha to leave Secret anytime soon.
When Team Secret announced his departure to the team, I was also surprised. But I think Nisha is still a young talent that looks to have something different because it's been 4 years when he's with Team Secret. And I guess he just want to aim higher and reach for the TI aegis and that's through changing his way and leaving his former teammates. Team Liquid is a strong team as well, micke shifting to pos 1 and they now have Nisha's versatility and consistent performance.

I think it was Puppey's decision to remove Nisha. It was really surprising because they finished strong in TI and the rumors were only if Crystallis will remain or not. The decision seems like a downgrade to Team Secret. Now it is Team Liquid that is willing to sacrifice some positions just to take Nisha which I believe will be worth it.

I am way more curious and excited to watch the South and North American frontiers. EG is looking to dominate its new region and the new team Shopify Rebellion. I am not happy Bulba is with the new team captained by Fly.
I don't think that it's Puppey. It's a personal decision of Nisha AFAIK and why would Puppey remove the most valuable player in the team? No doubt that Nisha is the most valuable in the team and he's brought the team in too many tournaments and played consistently so I don't think that it's Puppey that wanted to remove him. We saw how they've retained Crystallis even if there's the near to poor performance in the TI but they've honored him to let to stay in the team.

Blast Premier World Final matches are about to be underway by tomorrow. The matches of the first day and my predictions are like these:

Outsiders - Liquid
FaZe - G2
Heroic - OG
Natus Vincere - Vitality

Outsiders are the last champions of Major. I don't think they will lose their momentum yet. Liquid haven't been very consistent lately. There were speculations such as YEKINDAR was about to leave as well. They must be grateful for him to stay because he is the most impressive player of the roster. I don't think they can Outsiders unless they make some improvement in team performance.

G2 are away from their old times. Even though FaZe aren't having their brightest days they are still better than G2. They should be winning.

OG are really weak against Heroic on paper. Maybe Heroic will have k0nfig as stand-in for stavn. But I still think they will get a decent win.

The last matchup is a really competitive one actually but Vitality's momentum has dropped down recently. Natus Vincere are in a similar situation but I think they still have the strength to beat them in s1mple's lead.

So the Open Qualifiers for WEU as well as other region has started, anyone know any betting site for these games? I dont think any huge site will feature these type of games on their site so Im asking here in case anyone knows some other betting sites. Still a week for the close qualifiers though so kinda looking forward on betting for the Old G team lol
I've missed that game of Old G on this open qualifier. So, there's still 3 remaining more open qualifier so that's like 6 teams that will be qualified for the closed qualifier.

@jakelyson  By the way, I would have really liked to talk about G2 positively but we all see how bad they are still. They decided to start some changes in the team by replacing Aleksib and JACKZ. I don't have any problem with JACKZ's being replaced though. But I didn't understand why they replaced Aleksib. He was already an impressive player and his IGL wasn't bad either.

Now we are watching Aleksib doing a really good work at NIP. It's like there is no way NIP would like to part ways with him anytime soon. I don't think HooXi is a better IGL than Aleksib now. They should have replaced only JACKZ and moved on.

FaZe - Outsiders
Heroic - NaVi

The bold ones are my favourite sides here. I think Outsiders are strong enough to beat FaZe to finish the group as the leader. FaZe are still an inconsistent team even though they are full of more talented and experienced players in professional tournaments. When it comes to the other match I think NaVi are one step ahead now. Because Herioc are going to play without one of their main players, stavn. k0nfig is going to be stand-in for him. After Astralis parted ways with him he hasn't played for around a month. I wonder how quick he can adapt to a completely new team now as well.

It is the other way around for me. I favor Faze and Heroic to be the top in their group. Faze has shown signs of their old self in the last Blast Premier Fall. And I know they are eager to get back to Heroic to their loss in that finals. Heroic also has had a good run lately. Second in Rio Major and Champion in Blast Fall. I think they will continue their run even without stavn in their roster. They still got their IGL Cadian in their team. He is a great fragger and very consistent leader of the group.

By the way I don't see any update on hltv about stavn's condition. I guess he will still be out.

It was mentioned before that stavn has no condition. It was just a regular break for him, taking time out from CS GO which is understandable because they have a very hectic schedule this year. They already achieved too much and that is a well-deserved break for him.

So many changes in Dota 2 scene in the last days but this is really a big one.
It's usual during the new season comes because there's a date deadline that they need to lock their team rosters.

No other place for Nisha to go to anyway. I thought Nigma will be picking him up after Miracle announced that he doesn't want to play for this DPC season. The man is extremely talented in mid and it would be a waste if no team would pick him up while he still has the grit and drive to play professionally and win the International.

As for NGX picking up ATF, I do hope GH helps the kid grow as to what he did with Miracle. ATF may be talented but he still needs to learn a lot of decision-making skills that he lacked on OG.

Astralis are trying to keep their morale up for their 2023 tournaments. The device addition to the team is really valuable of course. He is like a legend for this team. He is still not that old actually. I believe 27 is not a bad age for CS: GO. Of course the reflexes can be affected in a negative way while aging. But this isn't valid for all players actually. You know fnatic has a player named roeJ in their roster. He is 29 now. But his performance has been really impressive so far.

I think the same thing will happen for device as well. He can really make a big contribution to Astralis' waking up from a nightmare. They have good players in their roster and they don't deserve to drop down in rankings this much.

Two teams for Alliance, the main Alliance and Alliance.LATAM.
I'm surprised with Alliance taking in two squads for this season as it's going to be costly but I guess they want more chances to make it in the TI since the EU region is too stacked.
Many Chinese teams did this before but they're all in the same region. I think there's still that restricted rule that only one team from the same organization will get in to the TI if ever these two teams are qualified for it.

Yeah, it's costly but it's Alliance and they've got bunch of sponsors and money so, it's manageable. Thus, it's like SA teams are like the not-so-expensive teams to finance but truly competitive and strong teams.

BetBoom's new roster is so stacked I think they'll be the new top team in the CIS region but we'll see if their teamwork goes well.

Yeah, this stack got that expectation for us that they'll be well and TORONTOTOKYO playing for pos 5. I think he's still at his prime but well, just like the good old captains that has played other main role before shifted to pos 5.

While on Team Spirit, larl is their new mid player.

The old EG squad is now picked up by Shopify Rebellion and their new offlaner Saberlight is also a solid replacement.

A few days ago it was named Alameda 2018, honestly when fly has announced that. The first thing that came to my mind is FTX/Alameda lol.

And speaking of OG, there's also the hot post in the dota subreddit where Notail, Topson, Noone, and MSS are registered under the team name Old G and the others are saying that Ceb would be the last player to complete the team.

I kinda expected that Notail and probably Ceb to be competing for fun on the Open Qualifier but Topson is still pretty much S rated pos 2. There are decent teams out there that wants him but he probably threw it all away just to be in the same team with Notail. Its weird that Ana is not included in it, kinda wants Ana to complete the team with them

This is honestly the first time I've seen Outsiders being favored over Navi, and perhaps it is very telling because of what happened in Brazil. S1mple showed how stressed he was during that tournament and it didn't help him much that his teammates are also not stepping up and doing their thing. Would have been nice if any of his teammates at least helped him carry but meh, electronic and the rest of 'em are too fazed due to the crowd. At this point you should expect them to not get distracted by the noise of the crowd but it still worked against their favor sadly.

Here are the odds for Blast Premier World Finals :

After seeing Vitality's odd, their rise by the Spinx transfer and their fall later on have come to my mind. The Spinx addition made the team more effective first. Because he was already a great fragger and he was definitely the right transfer for the team. They continued to keep up a good performance for some time. I even thought about whether they would dethrone FaZe and Natus Vincere.

But somehow things started to go sideways. There has been a big level of decrease in their performance recently. Their last Major experience was horrible as they were out in the Legends Stage already. I wonder if there is some mental problem affecting all of the players. Blast tournament is an opportunity for them to improve but I still can't trust them much.

Going back to Old G, topson is there too. See the pic below for their roster.

That is exciting, we are having the old OG back in the professional DOTA. That is a good thing to watch. We are missing ANA and Jerax in the roster, but that will be fine. Jerax is still committed as a coach in Team Liquid so we may see him with OLD G but ANA is possible since he does not have a current team. Maybe mid-season or next year we will see the Old OG back in their new form team OLD G.
Yeah, Jerax is good being the coach of Team Liquid but who knows if these boys will have a reunion and will try to get their third aegis together with ana. We don't know what might happen in the future but this stack of theirs are ready to bang teams in this DPC season.

Also with Topson locked in for Old G then that means Liquid secured Nisha as their mid player. I can't wait to watch the open qualifiers in a few days.
Interesting.

It's possible that nisha will go to Team Liquid now. We're all excited to see all of these competitive teams lock their roster and ready to roll on for this DPC season.

Another news. Dendi is back with his new teammates for B8 --> https://liquipedia.net/dota2/B8

They've got mooz from SA region (Peru). It seems that SA players these days are in demand because Alliance also acquires Hokori to play for them. So, it's Alliance.LATAM. --> https://liquipedia.net/dota2/Alliance.LATAM

Two teams for Alliance, the main Alliance and Alliance.LATAM.
