Seems like Vitality is still extending their slump. G2 is slowly edging them out 1-0, with the said team currently having the upper hand against Vitality in Vertigo. Usually this map is heavily CT Sided, but so far most of the rounds belong to G2 in their T-side and are continuing to extend their lead. Vitality star player zywoo doesn't seem to be doing anything at all. The rest of the team seem to not be in sync today. If they want a shot at the semis, they have to stop scattering around A and contesting ramp/yellow peek. But I guess they will just continue to d that strat until the end.

They were eventually eliminated by G2 in the third map, Anubis. Hooxi and Monesy are just too good for Vitality. Vitality was able to force the third map through overtime in Vertigo. The match in Anubis is quite equal until the second half where G2 totally took over.

Thankfully I did not make any bet in this tournament or else I would been bleeding. All the favorites have been eliminated and sent to early vacation. Now I am thinking this was actually their plan. Lose and get and early Christmas vacation Cheesy

Does anyone have any predictions for the semi-finals, I haven't determined my predictions for now Smiley

It is hard to predict the outcome of the semifinals because there has been a lot of upset in this tournament. The favorites were the first ones that is eliminated. With G2, I am totally at the edge. They have performed poorly this year, but it seems that they are having a redemption tournament in Blast World Final. But I am still not confident to make a bet on them versus Faze. Faze is the complete opposite of G2 since they have a blast this year but are not getting anywhere these last few tournaments.

Natus Vincere are still a disappointment as a team I'm afraid. I also admired s1mple and b1t against Liquid today but Natus Vincere were still desperate at the end. This is a quite early elimination after Major. Things are still going really bad for the team. s1mple made a statement before this tournament started. He said that they should focus on their next events by forgetting about the previous victories. He made a really good point because maybe the current situation is due to being complacent.

There is a big improvement in G2's performance surprisingly these days. They have eliminated Vitality by 2-1 as well. Especially their Nuke performance was spectacular (16-3). Anubis was the map bringing them their victory. But FaZe is going to be another huge obstacle for them. I think FaZe seem to be the only team that can stop them among the remaining teams.

I'm anticipating some changes in their roster in the next few weeks. A lot of bad things has been happening to their tournaments and lan events that I don't think s1mple encouraging his team and b1t being a great supporting dude all throughout their matches is still working. They really need to consider whether they are still working as a team or they're just trying to glue the pieces together that cannot be fixed. Sdy has been pretty instrumental as a newbie on the team, but there are still some things—especially his decision making—that he needs to work on. Electronic also needs to study more on their enemy because they are being crushed by defaults and utility usage MOST OF THE TIME. If they want to win more and more, they have to overhaul their thinking or just remove who they think is weighing the team down.

Navi is starting to feel the lack of a 5th player a lot. We see in Liquid that there is no fixed player. They play good and bad.  Liquid played better as a team. We see this when we look at the scores. We can say that the talented player yekindar carried his team this match. I think Navi should clarify his 5th player as soon as possible.
In G2, some things seem to be settled. They had a nice win against vitality today. It is certain that they worked well on the maps. Especially on the nuke map of their choice, they played really well.

It seems easy for the Old G to qualified there since most teams aren't that known and got lesser experience than them, so let's expect them to be with Division 2 teams and I think that's where the clash will start but still, I'm counting on them to get qualified for Division 1.
It only looks like it but when you watch some of the games you'll be surprised at how the other teams can also be as good and keep the series competitive.

In the CN region, I also saw Burning trying his chances to qualify for the closed qualifier and they only need one series win to make it in.
You're right, I saw the other teams that they've played with and I'm wrong of belittling them because they're also strong. It is that Old G is just stronger than them but they've got the potential too. Old G is now qualified for the closed qualifiers.
There's surely a big chance that they'll get qualified to division 2 and the matches will start on December 19, 3 days from now.
Sadly for Burning, they're out.

In my bets, I considered my G2- Vitality selection to be more risky, the results were the opposite. Navi lost, G2 won. Mini GOAT was very active on the nuke map. He made a performance close to 2.0 kd. Vitality only won three rounds. In fact, we see that the event completely depends on the map selection. Vitality's Vertigo pick is entirely a choice to stop M0nesy. Anubis put the final point G2 team. Does anyone have any predictions for the semi-finals, I haven't determined my predictions for now Smiley

I think I spoke early for Vitality. They were like stones against Navi yesterday, today they couldn't show the same efficiency against OG. Mini GOAT did not feel sorry for the outsider team and carried it by making 1.93 kd. Navi b1t played an important role. Navide has become a classic now, it's usually a defeat when either S1mple or B1t performs poorly. Both were fine today. You should have seen what the b1t clutch was, especially on the inferno map.

Heroic got eliminated with two losses in a row. Navi will play with Liquid in quarter final. I don't know which team is favorite in this tournament? Where did you put your bets? 500k prize money is looking good. Is Faze favorite here or should we look out for underdogs?
Vitality caught my attention. They had a very comfortable win in the first match against Vitality. Against OG they weren't that good yesterday and they lost. Yes FaZe is a totally favourite, very unlikely to be a different outcome. In the quarter-finals, my picks Navi wins. I made a difficult choice for the G2- Vitality match, and my final choice was G2. I trust you Mini GOAT lets go !
The two teams that met in the final of the major tournament were the first two teams eliminated in the blast premier world final tournament. It's a strange event that makes you say "from where to where?". It was especially strange to be eliminated while getting maximum efficiency from a player like konfig. Moreover, navi is having trouble with the 5th player right now. They couldn't settle on someone as the 5th player.
K0nfig is a really good fragger. I was very confident that he would get good results in the Heroic team. Maybe the remaining four players just couldn't get used to their playing style. I didn't expect them to be eliminated so soon.

That was a great clutch move, he outplayed them with patience and wise molotov use. If I played this I'd probably get stabbed from the left LOL. Small percentage of luck and big percentage of skills here.
It was a long time I watched this map, I love how they use narrow angles.

That was a great match actually and totally very fun to watch. There were a lot of clutch moments from both teams. One for Heroic was the 2v4 clutch by Teses and Cadian. That was an epic moment as well, maybe just as epic as the clip above. But in the end, Navi was the greater team and was able to eliminate Heroic from the tournament. I never expected Heroic to be easily eliminated in this tournament, especially after sjuush clutched in the third map with a shotgun.

Didn't expect Navi to edge it out against Heroic. What a great turn of events after that shotgun round from sjuush. Honestly not expecting Navi to come back after that round but man, you can see how focused S1mple and everyone got especially on round 30 when Heroic is trying to retake. No unnecessary movements from b1t this time, and S1mple just trusts the man to cover for his right while S1mple is peeking from the top if someone will jump from it. Great to see G2 and Navi now trying to claw their way back in to the top teams circle!

k0nfig was indeed amazing against OG and Natus Vincere both. Even though he was just a stand-in for Heroic it was really an impressive performance. I'm really surprised to see them being eliminated in the tournament this early. I can understand the loss against Natus Vincere maybe but the one against OG was meaningless.

Outsiders were also very bad in this tournament. They were better against Liquid but their matchup against G2 was just horrible. Their performance on Mirage was incredibly bad as they lost by 16-1 which resulted in their elimination by 2-0. It looks like Outsiders players were a little complacent here after winning a Major.

What a surprise, two of the favorites in Blast Premier World Final is already out of the competition.

Outsiders, the winner of the RIO Major, was eliminated by G2 in a decisive manner. Outsiders was able to just get 1 round in the 2nd map, Mirage. They were totally dominated by G2.

Heroic vs Navi was more interesting. Heroic was able to force the third map against Navi. Navi got the early lead in the 2nd half, but sjuush had an epic round using the most unexpected gun, a shotgun. They were able to build from sjuush heroics and tie the game 14-14, but Navi regrouped and won the game, thus eliminating Heroic from the competition. It was very entertaining to watch Heroic games, but they came short today.

I had a chance to watch the Navi-Vitality match. SDY is falling short. Navi needs to make a player change as soon as possible. There was talk of hobbit transfer for a while but I don't know the latest situation. As such, electronic's performance has also declined. S1mple and b1t's capabilities are obvious but the team is dragging them down. Vitality is a more established team in this sense. We see that spinx and zywoo made the difference and won the match.

Bad day for gamblers, almost all the favorites lost the game. I think the most loss was experienced in the Heroic-OG match. OG team had a losing streak, so there were a lot of gamblers, in addition, the effect of the transfer of k0nfig already made Heroic a favorite. Even in his first match, everyone trusted him.

I couldn't watch the full Vitality game. I was watching the France v Morocco match. Actually, I'm halfway through the Nuke map. Vitality won the match after extra time in the Inferno match. On the Nuke map, Navi players deteriorate very quickly as morels, I see this often in their last matches, when morels fall, the game discipline is lost. Zywoo, Spinx have released a high-end game. It will be like talking early but Vitality seems very well prepared, they are favorites for me in Blast World Final, while playing games, I will prioritize Vitality's matches.

Heroic-OG match was an enjoyable match for me. Congratulations to both teams, they both played well. They did everything to win. OG was the winner in the match that went to the decider map. Although Konfig joined a team as a stand-in after a long time, he showed a very good performance. But his performance was not enough for them to win. OG's talented and young players degster and FlameZ showed the difference and brought the win to their team. OG team made a nice comeback on the Anubis map.

So far I have been able to predict only FaZe's victory.  Grin  Even they scared me after losing on the first map which was Nuke. Even though Nuke was not a map that they were performing badly they still lost by a decent score gap. Heroic were the victim of Anubis map. We watched 2 OTs and finally OG won by 22-19. Anubis didn't go well for Outsiders either even though it was their pick actually.  Grin

Now, Natus Vincere - Vitality is going on. There is a 11-11 tie on Inferno - the first map. Natus Vincere picked Nuke and the final map is Mirage. Even if they lose on this map I think they can win the others both. They removed Anubis by the way. They were normally preferring Dust2 a lot but it looks like they aren't ready for Anubis yet.

Blast premier world final tournament started today. The first two matches were played. We can say that we actually saw an unexpected result in the Liquid-Outsiders match. The last major champion outsiders started the tournament with a defeat against liquid. I see that the Liquid team was well prepared. Although outsiders chose the newly added anubis map, Liquid was the side that played better. I can say that this opened the door to victory.
