Team Secret without Nisha are looking and playing like Tier 2 team and they are having a negative session of 0-4. What can Secret do right now ? I think all they can do is to practice more and figure it out the new meta system as they keep playing nuking strategy and most of the times , the enemy team or most of the teams are playing right-click dmg build , which means they can engage into fight whenever they want because cooldowns are not a problem for them.

Same goes for PSG.LGD as without AME they are struggling to find perfect engaging time as they are well known for this little things that will break the game in their favor. Cool

Team Secret has a rough start this DPC season. Nisha's replacement, BOOM, is not sitting well with Team Secret. I think he is still at loss on how to play with his new team. OG run them down easily in their match today. OG won an easy 2-0 against them. Team Secret is now 0-4 to start the DPC Winter tour. They had a rough start last season too but got to end TI in second place.

They were lucky last season when they picked up Reso because he fits perfectly how team Secret plays. They are not so lucky this season replacing Nisha with BOOM. Hopefully, they will recover and get synch up. It is still a long season.

Just as I thought, Secret will really struggle with Boom as the kid doesn't really have any experience outside of the Russian teams that he has for all of his professional career. He's a great pubstar and he really knows his stuff, but I think he's getting a little bit of starstruck with Puppey as his captain and Resolut1on as one of the legends in the CIS region. Eventually though I know this kid will fit in just right in the team and bring back his great plays in mid that made him known in the international team during his stay at Gaimin Gladiators.

As expected indeed. Even last season, Team Secret really struggled most of the time. They even failed to qualify in the last regional qualifier. It was only in the last qualifier at Singapore that they were able to win it and then the momentum just continued in the TI. How much more now that Nisha is not part of their play anymore. But Puppey is a brilliant tactician, he needs more time to figure out BOOM's strengths and weaknesses and then they will make necessary adjustments.

Meanwhile, what intrigues me most this season is Shopify Rebellion players trying to prove themselves a top team and make the management of EG regret it. Cheesy

That loss of PSG.LGD might not be valid as the Team Knights are allegedly cheating with a map vision hack.
I also saw this thread earlier today and now I feel salty about my loss on PSG.LGD. The organizer had some evidence to back their accusation so I think it's only a matter of time until Knights receive their punishment.

The games scheduled today aren't worth betting on due to how one-sided the odds are but we'll see a few notable teams like EG and BetBoom play their first series.

Damn, I also read that earlier. Match fixing is one thing, but straight up applying cheats and joining an event that is sponsored by the developer that you used your cheat on should really warrant a lifetime ban.
IIRC, there are also the same cheat that has been applied through a software in an official LAN event for CS:GO.

If they had the balls to do this on DPC, how about the minor tournaments that they also participate in? For sure this isn't the only instance that they used this cheat on games and tournaments.
Many teams in the SEA are like that in low tier tournaments especially those that are online events. They've got the balls to do it because they think they're safe.

But if it's an obvious thing with their moves like warding and being too careful, there goes the idea that there must be something wrong. Well yeah, this is where their balls have brought them and hopefully a lifetime ban. They never learn from others experience.

That PSG.LGD loss was unexpected and Knights drafted really well throughout the series, taking advantage of the first pick Lina in the first map, and then in the second map they went with a lineup that had a lot of control.

A division 1 team that has resorted in cheating deserves to be banned for life by all Dota 2 organizers and mainly by Valve. Why these players don't think for the betterment of their careers?

Dude, these are DPC games and not just pub games.

Its more of a dumb bet after all and I should have gone for the traditional 'safe' bet which is over 2.5 maps. Well in fact all games in EEU region ended up over 2.5 maps on all 3 games, someone would have made decent amount of profit just by betting on that single 'safe' option.

There are teams that you should avoid betting over 2.5 maps at this time such as Team Secret. Their new player Boom is having a hard time trying to fit in with the current roster, and look as if he's not really a perfect fit for the team. Against Div 2 teams, perhaps you can bet on Secret or even over 2.5 maps, but against Div 1, better to go against them just to be safe.

Nigma vs Tundra tomorrow, Im going for Tundra -1.5 maps on this. Totally Nigma fan boy right here but I just dont think that the current Nigma has what it takes to win against the TI winner

Tundra is a safer bet. Nigma with ATF as carry doesn't seem right, although we have seen the guy in OG transition from being an offlaner to a second carry which works most of the time so there's that.

don't expect more and don't just rely on predictions from TI dota 2 last year. In the 2023 DPC season anything can happen like the Execration vs Talon Esports match yesterday. Talon was one of the teams that had not bad playing skills and in the end he was defeated by Execration.
so always do predictions from always seeing every ongoing Dota match.
There are currently 2 matches going on in DPC Tour 1 and maybe you can check out the matches.
Indeed, only relying on predictions from previous matches in Dota 2 TI is not guaranteed, but I still believe that the Tundra Team will be able to compete until they reach the Final round.
For the initial phase of the match to the semi-finals, there will be a lot of manipulation made by wealthy people who are also betting on the Dota 2 DPC 2023 match.
And I am very sure that this will happen because in the previous Dota 2 TI matches there were also many manipulations just for a bet between gamblers.
But we can already analyze and guess which team will survive and qualify for the final.

Finally, the DPC between different regions kicks off today.  Cheesy
Yeah, after the SEA region, we've got now the WEU region. The first game will be played by OG and Tundra. What are such good teams to start the season.

Actually, Tundra has posted a few days ago about a hint about an announcement. But what's funny is that they're announcement is that no one gets kicked from the team.  Tongue

OG and Tundra match will be awesome to watch. OG does not have ATF anymore. He is replaced by DM but the other players of the roster are still intact. I am expecting the defending Champion to win since they have no roster change but currently, OG is on the lead early in the game. Let's see if they will bounce back mid or late game.
ATF have changed his role and his now with Nigma Galaxy, his debut match together with the team is against Tundra by tomorrow. When I've seen ATF played on the pub, he's easy to get triggered.

As for the match of Tundra and OG last night, OG didn't even managed to win on the series.

Tundra took two games and won the series.

However, I already have an opinion on which team I will always bet on in the Dota 2 match this time, namely on the Tundra Team and hopefully the Tundra game will be the same as last year's match where they won the title.
You still have to observe who will be they're fighting. It's not all the time that even TI champs are going to win, there can be some bad decisions and chokes from them.
But so far, they're showing who they are and even years ago before they've become a TI champ, they've been commended for being a consistent team. Who knows if they'll be the 2nd team to record for having 2-TI title as champions.

I like mICKE being carry than Nisha. Nisha previously played carry and he's just not that good on that role as he struggles to find farm unless his supports do their thing flawlessly on the map. Whereas mICKE just knows how to play the map and when to move around even without crucial core items that he needs. I think iNSaNiA is also doing pretty good as a captain because his teammates feel very confident when moving around the map with him and making plays, pushing Secret to take a fight and forcing a mistake to get gold and reduce their map control. That 2 games showed how well Team Liquid played the map, without relying that much on meta heroes.
I actually prefer Nisha to use the Morphling hero to become a Carry. because Nisha is very good when playing with that hero and only needs 1 BKB item when fighting. but unfortunately the Carry position is held by miCKe and usually uses the Sven hero. btw I prefer when miCKe uses the Leshrac hero, he has more freedom to kidnap opponents from the side or behind.

Yes, that's right, what I meant was the Dota 2 TI match last year. I have observed every match from the start and indeed the two teams had the strongest playing performance.
But for the Dota 2 match that is currently being held, I haven't made a bet at all. I still want to observe the games of several teams first.
However, I already have an opinion on which team I will always bet on in the Dota 2 match this time, namely on the Tundra Team and hopefully the Tundra game will be the same as last year's match where they won the title.

Natus Vincere vs Team Spirit

PSG. LGD vs Team Knights

I was dumb and took this before I even watch the game lol, no one should ever follow this dumb step. Team Spirit seems to be on the losing side but oh well, its a good start for EU dota bet I guess. Decent stakes if it hits but yeah it doesnt really matter I guess even if it lost

you are too brave to take that step. but wish you luck Wink

to be honest I also feel stupid taking this step. but I think PSG.LGD deserves to win. maybe

Anyone bet on Secret vs Liquid? mICKE is a different beast in the starting of this 2023 DPC season, and it shows how well he has improved in his farm rotations and his decision-making as to whether he should join the fights or not. Also, it's weird seeing Nisha not being in Team Secret lol. His first match really has to be against his former teammates and he just flexed on them with his Batrider. Secret seems to have a hard time synchronizing their moves with BOOM, but hopefully the man finds his footing in this tier 1 team lead by Puppey.

Good thing I did not bet on this match. If I bet, I should have lost because I thought this series will go the distance. My over 2.5 maps should have lost.

I was not able to watch fully the game, but I saw that Team Liquid won 2-0 against Team Secret. It looks like Nisha is blending better with team Liquid than Boom with Team Secret. Nisha is a good player; it is a shame that Team Secret has to let him go.

Puppan has other plans unfortunately, and it appears that Nisha also wants to be transferred somewhere else. He's playing with Secret for almost 4 years and achieved 2 Major wins with the team, but the International championship remained elusive as ever to the Polish player. Hopefully with Team Liquid he gets what he's chasing for years.

I like mICKE being carry than Nisha. Nisha previously played carry and he's just not that good on that role as he struggles to find farm unless his supports do their thing flawlessly on the map. Good thing they adapted quickly to their new roles in the team. They have been playing for quite some time now so maybe that helped them adjust faster and better.

mICKE has the experience of a mid laner and he's applying it being the carry of the team. He knows how to move around the map when needed and farm when needed. Nisha on the other hand, only has to be in sync with his new team, and seeing that first game I can say that he's confident around Team Liquid as he made a lot of awesome plays with that Batrider and is often the initiator instead of just dishing out damage with flamebreak as is the meta currently.

yes, it's true that at that time the Secret team had a very good and decent performance if you become a fan of the Secret team. but it cannot be denied that Tundra has a stronger team and has a good strategy in the Late game and Early game. if you look at last year's TI final, Tundra had a very compact team performance and caused the Secret team to be overwhelmed

i didn't bet on Secret vs Liquid match, looks like i missed that match.
Nisha is now not on Team Secret anymore after the player transfer and it's like it's a loss for Team Secret to let Nisha go to Team Liquid. if I'm not mistaken in the Secret vs Liquid match with a score of 0:2 and Liquid won this match.
it looks like there has been a change in the roster composition of the Liquid team after Nisha joined the Liquid team. now miCKe becomes Carry and Nisha becomes Midlaner.
to be honest I missed this match very sad because I support team Liquid. because I really like the way Team Liquid plays quickly without beating around the bush when they have the opportunity to finish off the opponent in front of them very quickly.
in this it will be hard work for Puppey as the star of team Secret to accept defeat.

for this first map match OG is superior but it seems like this is just a trick by Tundra to give pleasure at the start for OG and I'm sure at the end of the game Tundra will win. I think this match will have 3 maps in the first match OG wins, second match Tundra, map 3 match Tundra wins. (just my prediction) hope my prediction doesn't fail again Embarrassed

Tundra proves that they are the reigning champions. They have a solid draft and solid late game performance. Though OG has a very stellar laning phase, Tundra was able to push through and reverse the situation in the late game. I think OG is being cheeky again with their laning strats. They were able to find kills but they were not able to build on it on and sustain them until late game.

Tundra wins, 2-0. A good way to start their DPC season.
it looks like my prediction was right and Tundra gave me 3 wins Cheesy

because Tundra likes matches in the late game and seems to give hope to his opponent, but in fact, in the late game, Tundra puts tremendous pressure on him.
I think as long as Sneyking is still the captain of the Tundra he will be stronger in DPC 2023.

The Tundra team is indeed a very good and strong team, even the unity in playing is not in doubt. However, in the previous Dota 2 match at the peak of the finals, I supported the Secret team over the Tundra team and it was a pity that the Tundra team won.
From previous Dota 2 matches, I have observed that when I was still in the preliminary phase there was a lot of manipulation where a team that should have been able to win matches easily ended up losing.
However, after reaching the semifinals, you can see that each team is playing professionally and is serious about winning.
So if you want to place a bet on a Dota 2 match, we have to really observe and determine which team is really right to bet on.
maybe you mean TI dota 2 finals.
