Well Matumbaman already won an aegis and it is a really big deal with and of course after he quit with the Team Liquid he choose to gain more experience into other teams and find out into team secret and back to team liquid because he wants to try again with other team members, and being secured with the top three already gain profit to him,
He's said that it's a win-win situation since coming from the LCQ up to the 3rd place of TI11, that's certainly a big achievement already for him playing his last competitive Dota 2 game.

but not too much in this Ti11 because the price pool is so low unlike the previous Ti events
It's okay, because the last year's TI was a combination of 2 TIs, the 2020 and 2021.

Kuku and Whitemon is open for the new teams of course Topson and Ana wont let go by the T1 and preparing for the another dota tournament.
Topson wants to go back to the strongest region now, EU. And he's on the hot eyes of most teams that want to take him and if he's got a contract with T1, those teams have to buy it out.

Right. They should retain the LCQ as it seems very competitive and we've seen how far the qualified teams from there. I also hope that there will be some changes like the defending champions already have the secured slot for the next TI.

I guess this has been suggested long time ago but Valve didn't obliged. Now that TI has ended, is anyone have the calls or rumors with the roster change of different teams?

T1 has already started with the departure of Xepher and Kuku. Liquid as well with the retirement of Matu. That's the only thing that's been confirmed by now. Reddit Dota doesn't seem to have any solid info yet regarding rumor transfers and roster changes so we'll see about that. One team I want to change for the better is Nigma. They should really remove Kuro as an active player and put him in a coach position or something. He doesn't seem to be keeping up with the times, not unlike Puppey who proved to us that he's still a worthy player even after playing for over a decade. Kuro might have been a good drafter in the past but with the recent games they are playing, it's best if Mind_control or someone else takes the place of a captain instead of him.
For Nigma, I think Kuro should just move from being a player and captain into coaching his boys. That's way better and get better talents that are young that shall bring them the aegis while coaching them.

Another one that has already have shown interest to play for other opportunities is Tims. His contract with Boom Esports is about to end and they're on negotiation for his extension but he's more interested to join other teams as it's looks like that and said he's willing to relocate.

Let's see if they will make it against Cloud9.

They actually ended up winning against Cloud9. Pretty close on that one as well and Cloud9 actually wasted that up. This doesnt seems pretty tense though, kinda hoping that we get as soon as possible to the next stage. EG, Mouz, Vitality and BIG should be getting to the next stage with ease though.

Next one between EG and Mouz should be pretty exciting though

After the first round of matches, I can't say that I was surprised by the result of the first match. The only surprising result is that the bad news eagles won by such a big margin. I expected a closer match. The most exciting match of the day was between big and furia. They managed to win with a nice comeback from 12-3. We can say that all players played well. It seemed like there was no player who could make a difference.

Watching the replay and man you can see how tense FURIA was even though they have that big of a lead, especially when the second half came. This match just proved how CT Sided Vertigo is, given how many possible angles and a lot of possible cheeky spots the CT can use to retake or just straight up defend the site. But that huge deficit is really hard to get back to, even if the map is CT sided. Props to tabseN for those clutches and krimbo for getting info mid rounds.

We are about to leave the all matches of the first day behind in Major Challengers Stage.

There isn't any surprising result so far. BIG actually had a really hard time against FURIA first. They were like 13-3 behind and they were so close to a total destruction. However I really admired their dedication in a desperate situation like this. They made a great comeback and managed to carry the match to OT. And they won by 19-16 after an OT as well. BIG are still not an unreliable team but they are at least trying now. Joining Major is the most important thing for them now.

The biggest match of the day is being played now between Cloud9 and fnatic by the way. We are in OT and it's 16-16 now. fnatic have made a huge improvement lately and they have reached the level to beat top tier teams too now. Let's see if they will make it against Cloud9.

Time for a change at Eternal fire. It was announced that Paz has pulled himself to the bench and parted ways with hardstyle. It wasn't going to happen with this squad. It was just a late agreement. I don't know who will come but I have a few names in mind. Calyx is likely to come back. Soulfly can also transfer from sangal together with tugux.

It was really awkward that all of the hardstyle-paz-MAJ3R trio left the team not much time after they arrived here. MAJ3R's departure was the start of everything and now Eternal Fire have come back to the point where they started. As they aren't in any tournament for now they have time to think of the 5th member of the roster. I think there are two strong candidates for this: Calyx and Soulfly.

Calyx shouldn't have been sent from the team in the first place I think. His aim is really incredible and his contribution to the team was significant back then. But I'd love to see Soulfly as much as Calyx in the team also. Soulfly also has a wonderful aim and I saw another example of an impressive spray control from him in a FPL game recently.
Paz was given a chance and tried and it didn't work as well as he could so I know the timing right. I think Calyx is the most suitable name for the Eternal Fire fifth, but he left the team completely. It would have been more accurate to at least Bench him in time. Frankly, I was wondering if we would see a transfer from the Sangal team. TuguX is a coach that I like, and he has a CS background. If his Soulfly transfer happens, it could be a fresh start for EF.

Anyway, can someone enlighten me about this. So they are delaying the grand final to 6 more days after they did the same to the quarterfinals to semifinals phase huh. I dont see whats the point in it though, crowds are hype and why would you want to let it cool down when TI is already over so that literally means extra pair of eyes are going to focus on Worlds

https://i.imgur.com/3QWPu7C.png
They delay the matches in playoffs mostly to build hype. Some like it, some don't, but I understand why Riot does it, i mean, it's a whole week for build up around the most important LoL matches of the year, everyone talking about it and trying to predict what's gonna happen in a few days, it's fun  Grin plus, players need some rest after some really intense games, so...

Yeah I know it was to build up hype but they did that already on quarterfinals to semifinals and Valve did that with TI as well so I thought it was pretty normal until I saw Riot did it again after the semifinals which is pretty weird. I would have understand if TI is in progression along Worlds but yeah I'll guess I'll leave it at that though

DRX v Gen.G could be a quick 3-0 for Gen.G, game 1 was a bit of a stomp, tbh. Now DRX are off to terrible start in game 2 after giving up first blood.
*EDIT game 2 went to DRX and they're in a commanding position in game 3, they're popping off right now!

Not really following LoL anymore so between DRX and T1, which is the favourite to actually win the finals though?

I didn't enjoyed the grand finals of The International 2022, honestly and that's because I want the grand finals go into 5 games. But not having doesn't means that I was disappointed.
Same here, even though I knew Tundra was going to win the experience wasn't similar to the lower bracket finals. Hopefully, Valve retains the LCQ format for the next TI since those slots weren't wasted and the teams gave us so much this tournament.

So far Tundra looks flawless,
They're 2-0 right now and just 1 more win and they'll take home the aegis which will assure them with $8.4M for the champion of this year's the international.

Individual skills of each Tundra players are totally amazing and impressive. Honestly, they've already shown this potential IIRC, last year but they didn't qualify for TI.

Now, they're about to take that aegis with just 1 win away. It's hard for Team Secret as they've exhausted with games since yesterday.

True. The problem on Secret was Crystallis so passive on this game. We don't see any effect from him to carry his team mates. Nisha is the only true carry on this game but he can’t beat the solid Tundra solo. Crystallis and the rest should step up and improve there picks so that they can have better laning phase.

Team Liquid has a better chance to beat Tundra if they are the one who win on the semi. Smf.n
I'm not really impressed with most games of Crystallis, it's like that, they've been qualified together with him and Puppey has no choice but to play with him.

It's not going to be surprised within the next few days if he's going to be replaced by a real strong pos 1 player with good decision making and has a true impact on the team.

Nisha is amazing, and this is the reason why Puppey has kept him. With all of the roster of Team Secret, it's him and Nisha that has been together for so long.

Anyway, Congratulations to Tundra for winning The International 2022. Now they proved to those bashers that they do not choke always, sometimes, they win TI too.

Its more of that Team Secret didnt know what to do with all those 3 games. They simply want to get to top 2 and that was it, if it was Team Liquid instead then Liquid would have given way better entertainment for us. Imagine watching the grand finale for TI11 that looks like a tier 1 team against tier 2 team. Most are hoping for atleast 4 games but it was only 3 games so thats pretty sucks

Unfortunately, Team Liquid was not able to get past Team Secret in the Lower Bracket Finals. They were outmatched in the draft and in skills by the cores and Puppey of Team Secret. It would be nice to watch Team Liquid against Tundra since they did not meet in the whole tournament. And we know that Secret have a very hard time to win against tundra even in the Group Stage or Upper Bracket. And Tundra will not expect Liquid to get to the finals, they could have upset Tundra if Matu and the team was able to get past Puppey.

I was also expecting that the championship game would be played between Tundra and Liquid. I guess it would have been a better match than Team Secret against Tundra. It was a one-sided battle all throughout. I was thinking that TI9 would somehow repeat with Liquid winning against each of its opponent in the lower bracket until it faces whichever team would be waiting in the championship match. But just like my prediction in the other thread, Tundra would probably still turn out as the champion.

I won't be looking for too many surprises for tomorrow's Counter Strike matches. I'm planning to go through these matches. Team Vitality - Imperial 1
Cloud9 - Fnatic 1
BIG - FURIA 2

But I'm determined for two games. The most risky Cloud9 - Fnatic match, the teams that lost the last match, Team sprit and NIP, I will still prefer Cloud9.

The minds combined of Heen and Puppey weren't able to counter what's on the minds of Tundra. In all of those three games, I didn't see any struggle in the picking of heroes of Tundra. And that's one of the best feats of being versatile and having a large hero pool. I've watched Tundra's interview and they're all agreeing of playing complex heroes and they don't argue with it as they have their own ways of playing Dota and those heroes that they'd like to play. Congrats to them, on the other hand, we have seen the last game of Matumbaman as he's now going into retirement.

Tundra like to play late game. All their carry are all late gamers, Chaos Knight, Naga, and Medusa. Even if Team secret was able to dominate them on Laning and early game, Tundra just needs to hit the timing on their carry and then take over the game. One thing I notice too is that Skiter is very quick on farming. Compared to Crystallis, Skiter was able to get his core items faster than Crystallis does. That is why when Tundra starts to initiate team fights, Crystallis is bullied.

The best LOL game I've seen lately and it's a shame that JDG didn't advance to the next stage.

Well in fact isnt it just better if T1 win this and gets to the grand final so Faker will have a shot on his 4th worlds. I totally would love him to win another one for sure and probably retire after this
