Liquid are doing it in map 3 so far with Matu playing an old school hero and build on Night Stalker that most likely will win Liquid the series. I also believe that we will see different carry heroes in Secret series as well as the meta kinda shifted in this 1 week pause regarding safe lane and hard support position  Grin
i almost can't believe that in map 3 Team Liquid uses a hero that is very rarely used in matches (Night stalker) which is a little surprising for the team Aster.
i think in this semi-final match there will always be a map 3 match.
and from my prediction, team secret will win the team secret vs tundra esports match.
and those who will enter the final round will be team liquid and team secret (just my prediction)

They've just kicked Team Aster to the airport and they've ended up with the TI on the 4th place. While for Team Liquid, they're moving to secure the 3rd spot and will match tomorrow whoever will win the Team Secret and Tundra in a while as of typing this.

Team Liquid still does not want to go home yet. They have a very strong third map. Aside from the top lane having a hard time, two of the lanes are dominated by Team Liquid. And with their two cores at the top of the net worth, they capitalized on that, and snow balled from there. The Night Stalker pick was a surprise pick. I think even Aster is not expecting that. And that proved to be a good pick for Team Liquid. This team is really getting stronger and stronger as the tournament goes on. It shows how determined they are to give Matu the best sendoff they can give.

There are only Europe teams left in TI. The only Chinese team left is already kicked out by team Liquid.

Team Secret vs Tundra is up next. This might go all the way to game 3 as well.
Honestly, when I've seen that matumbaman will play for Night Stalker, I wasn't impressed at first glance and that is because with most of the games that I've seen a core NS. Most of those games didn't ended well.

But at least for them, they've made well for the third game and sad on Ori's primalbeast. It seems like a giveaway for the team Liquid as it didn't contributed well for the entire game.

Well, there will really be cheaters that will take advantage of it. But I'm good with my old account and still haven't decided what arcana I'll be choosing.

Do you guys remember in the past TIs, there have always been a new release for arcana? Does anyone have an idea if Valve will release some by surprise and IIRC, there's always a voting for that on which arcana they'll release, right?
If we do speak on the current Swag bag freebies on dota 2 then after all the years that Valve given then this is the most generous one.Giving out a level 1 BP for those who doesnt own + 1 month dota plus +

arcana of your choice which is currently listed on the market. It is really just common sense that they wont really be making it tradeable or marketable to avoid abuse which its really just understandable.

But we know that free is always been good specially to those players who had been wishing on getting some arcana of their fav hero on the list.
Isn't it that we only get to pick 1 from the three? And that's why mostly are choosing to have arcana instead of the two.

Most of the hype event right now feature by the Valve in dota 2 is the free arcana, battle pass and also dota plus guide to the players who actively playing in the TI which is just a requirement a minimum of 10 games in any game which is even the old users getting back to have their very first arcana in the game and currently in social medias it is all about post of the players in SEA pub that wear all their arcanas in the game.
Yeah, it's their giving back to their community which made them peaked at active players again to 900k since 2017.

Well, it's not just on the SEA pubs but it's for the entire community and game and that's why everyone is happy to get their free arcanas. What arcana have you taken? I haven't taken mine.

I'm thinking between with these choices, Lina, SF, Crystal Maiden, Ogre and PA. But, my choice is likely to get into CM.
It was a great initiative by Valve to encourage a new wave of players into Dota2 with TI. Shame that some try to take advantage of it with their selfish goal. Rev up their bot accounts to farm for the free arcanas just to sell and force a short closure on the arcana market.

Also, some of the players that got eliminated from TI are starting to leave their teams the roster changes are looking spicy and i've heard some rumors about Nightfall leaving EG as he's planning to form a team with Torontotokyo.
This is just a rumor and not yet official but it seems that it's very possible and usually, we already get to see those roster shuffles every after TI when a team isn't successful with their run.

It is Torontotokyo wants to play with Nightfall and that's possible since both teams of these two, EG and Team Spirit didn't ended up with a good run with this TI.

There's a likely that this might be true. A lot of good potential teams to come out like, there's Topson who would like to go back on EU while ana, we usually know that this guy only becomes active every near TI season.

Kuku and Xepher has already expressed their interest in looking for a new team.

A disappointing performance would likely change some of its line-ups. Team Spirit as a defending TI champion and exited in the first round of the lower bracket is unacceptable. I honestly think Torontotokyo is the weakest of the line-up.

EG's run in the group stage was unexpected and would've saved their team to remain intact after a bad season. But after getting zeroed in their 2 bracket games, a change will obviously come. I'd been wanting to see Bulba getting out of EG for years now.

Kuku and Xepher's contracts aren't renewed. Although this is also expected. Kuku before the official announcement already posted about the possible end of his stunt with T1 and his willingness to test the other markets.

For around 2 years, PSG LGD line-up remained intact. Now, I expect another change after their weakest TI finish in years.
Well, that only means that all of the teams there are good enough to be qualified and TI didn't just did well and Boom was stronger when they were eliminated.

EG was by far the worst expectation from most when they've been the top performer during the group stage.

And for T1, I think that they will have a new roster and would like to explore with a complete set of roster change. Well, semis is about to happen several hours from now, less than a day.

Tomorrow,  all eyes on Secret vs Tundra right ? One of these should win TI but it will all come to mechanical skills and items builds that will make the different tomorrow. Grin
That and the drafts as well, both teams have a wide hero pool and could flex some of the common core and support heroes in the mid and offlane position.

It is exciting to see how these two teams will draft against each other. They have plenty of time to prepare and I am sure they have studied each other's draft behaviors. Will we see different set of heroes used in this match? It is hard to adjust since it is just BO3. If one team caught the other team off guard, they will surely win.

I am rooting for Team Secret to win this game against Tundra. Though both teams have swept all matches up to this match in the upper bracket, I think Puppey's experience will come to play in this match. It will be a big factor in this match up.

I want Kuku to shift his position into a support role if he wants to continue playing.
That would be great though like their times in TNC back then but I think he's still doing fine with the offlane position. On the other hand, the captain role might be too much for him to handle though since one of his viewers mentioned in a post that he prefers to have a support captain on his team for the next season.

Yeap , with Faith Bian most likely retiring , PSG will have to change their team but so far , I don't see any contenders rising to the spot but I also didn't read an official statement from Faith Bian that he officially retired.
The same thing with Matumbaman, the roster swaps from several teams will be something to look forward to after TI.

There is a really short time period left for Major tournament on CS:GO.

Before that we have Challengers Stage to determine the last teams to join the main tournament. Actually it isn't difficult to predict the probable teams making it to Major. But considering the results in some recent tournaments, we had better be ready for some surprises also. For example, GamerLegion team have this probability but they need to maintain the performance they showed in RMR. Besides, I wonder how much FaZe and NaVi will progress in Major. FaZe are the 2nd best team now and NaVi even dropped to the 4th place in the rankings. It feels like at least one of these teams will manage to reach the grand final at worst.

i agree with you.
after a few times i saw the team liquid and team secret matches that had fought all the standings that had been eliminated and were able to be in the semi-finals of the two teams.
i also always hope that team secret and team liquid can be in the grand final and my hope is in team secret to become the IT champion even though it is very difficult to get past the team liquid

Hopefully, IEM Rio Major will have something similar to boost the popularity or the player count for the CSGO game too. Tho, CSGO is already way too popular to need any more boots but hey, I wouldn't turn down some special knives or gloves to commend for the Major. Grin

For around 2 years, PSG LGD line-up remained intact. Now, I expect another change after their weakest TI finish in years.

I think Faith_bian expressed that he will be retiring after this TI, so we will expect a change in PSG.LGD roster. There are still a few months before the next DPC season will start, so we may know before that who will replace Faith_bian or if there will be a rebuilding of the whole roster.  I think PSG.LGD is still strong even if they keep the 4 of the current rosters and just replace faith_bian.

Yes, Faith_bian is just one of the players that are retiring this year. We already had Somnus and Matumbaman mentioning earlier that TI Singapore is their last.

And after T1 parted ways with coach March and didn't renew Kuku and Xepher's contracts. I want Kuku to shift his position into a support role if he wants to continue playing. And just after I woke up earlier, I saw a new post from Whitemon on FB saying "LFT". It seems like Whitemon will leave T1 then.

I also took a bet on underdog Liquid to avenge their 0-2 defeat from Aster in the first round of the upper bracket.

Well honestly I wouldnt think of Liquid being an underdog even more at this stage. My top 2 teams for the TI is Secret and Liquid so I would love if both of them ended up in grandfinals so that we'll have another two times TI champion. That is going to be pretty exciting

The big break makes this duel even more equal. And 2.02 for Liquid is very attractive while Aster is at 1.71.

Yeah, I really love to see the 2 last qualifying teams duking it out in the finals. And this is Matu's last TI too, and reaching the finals or even winning the Aegis would be the greatest feeling ever before his retirement. Personally, though I want Puppey and Team Secret to win this TI.

The major is coming up. On the 31st of October the challenger stage starts. I think it will be a good major. If I'm not mistaken, a few teams have qualified for the major for the first time. I think we can see some surprise results as well as competitive matches. The top 8 teams will move on to the next stage.

@emrecemsan  I'm not sure whether device's return to Astralis would change many things. We first need to see them in some official matches in big tournaments. Then we can start making sure of their condition.

Astralis were actually seeming like they were going back to the times they were a solid team. But after a point their performance started to drop down a lot. There was no meaningful explanation for that also. This led them out of top 10 in the world rankings as well. By the way, I don't know if replacing Farlig was a good idea. Actually MistR has been like a temporary player after k0nfig was sent from the team. I assumed they would make a change with MistR. Maybe they want to give some chance to him for some time and then decide upon his future.

Dev1ce is still a great player, although their team work and their synchronization is far off from where it used to be. Him returning to Astralis meant a lot of things, although of course since he went away and joined other teams, that feeling of being one with the team is also gone - hopefully only for a moment. I still want to see old Astralis in a one last ride kind of thing, although of course I know it would be pretty hard for that to achieve nowadays but maybe what they need is time to play together once more.
Devic1 is still among the actors who play the best awp role in my opinion. With Astralis, they broke many consecutive trophy-winning records. I think if he returns to the team, he will be effective, although not as much as before. At least it will benefit more teams than MistR. There are also former teammates, no matter how good, I think we will not see Astralis and Device together. I think the team is pretty productive right now, losing to Heroic in the final doesn't mean anything by itself. They were able to eliminate Vitality in the semi-finals, I think they will stand on this team.

Here Tundra is a slight favorite at 1.81 to Team Secret's 1.87 which makes sense after the former made a 2-0 victory over the latter. But this is a whole different level though, both teams are capable of winning and they are both with great momentum.

So Rollbit was offering the best possible line huh, I thought it would be some sort of error or whatsoever then it might get cancelled. Imagine getting the same exact odds for both sides as well as over 2.5 maps and most people would go for either sides to win so its actually pretty decent. I honestly never got anything close to this ever before.
