In the semi-final Mirage map, B rushes made by T side EF were lost consecutively and the defeat was inevitable for EF. When these rounds were given, Ence regained his senses and became 12-9. Actually, EF was having a really good T-side until 12-7. It was unnecessarily hard on both sides and the losses were like this. EF lost 3v5 in the last round of the game, there was a carbon hit, everything happened at once. The nuke map was used for the Decider map. Who will be the finalist will be determined on this map. Although Nuke is not a priority for EF, I like the Nuke map and I trust them in this map.

Eternal fire took a 1-0 lead in the semi-final match on the map of their choice. They played a good game as a team. I can say that imorr being a top fragger as an igl also keeps the team fresh. It is not expected for an igl player to give this much frag, but when this much frag comes, the team has an easier match. I wonder if the mirage map has been studied. I hope eternal fire plays a nice mirage map and beats 2-0.

I watched the match between Eternal Fire and Movistar Riders today. It was crucial as it was going to determine ENCE's opponent in the semi final.

I must admit that Eternal Fire surprised me a lot. There was a huge improvement in their effort. Of course I'm not saying that they were perfect because there were still some visible problems. At least the players were better than the previous day strategically. 16-10 on Vertigo and 16-12 on Inferno sealed the deal by 2-0 for them. xfl0ud and XANTARES were very impressive on Vertigo. XANTARES was incredible on both maps as usual actually. His aim is insanely good and the team are benefiting from his extra frags a lot. imoRR was surprisingly solid on Inferno. He was still impatient about peeking someone but at least his statistics still stayed great (25K-15D, 112.0 ADR).

I'd recommend you to check out xfl0ud's amazing spray transfer and 1v2 clutch on Vertigo  Grin : https://clips.twitch.tv/TrustworthyPlainTeaWutFace-OlmAf7qMS53D-mk5?tt_content=url&tt_medium=clips_api

The semi final matches are going to be played tomorrow.
It's the first time I've seen Eternal Fire playing a match with this enthusiasm and playing to win as a team. It was always individually before, and today we saw how good they were when they could play as a team. Yes, I spoke a bit early for the Xfloud and Imorr substitution because I've really gotten so used to seeing Majer as IGL that it was promising to see a game like this after constant substitutions and defeats.

Hah, I've posted about Eternal Fire should focus on bringing young talent and stop beating a dead horse. Seems like they did that recently with xfl0ud. I watched the Eternal Fire vs Moviestar Riders last night. Damn, the kid had the potential there. xantares and imoRR look solid with their crispy aim and spray. woxic is woxic. Interesting how they let paz become igl instead of keeping maj3r in that role. This roster from Eternal Fire looks fine, beat Moviestar Rider 2-0 and Moviestar Riders was at #15 HLTV. If they can keep this roster up, and improve more on the strats side (still a bit wobbly last night in some rounds), they can push into the top ten HLTV.

woxic and xantares can stay in Eternal Fire since they carry the team hard. maj3r is igl so unless they found a better igl but also Turkish, else he is also staying. That leaves paz and imoRR as free to swap out if they found someone better. Usually, pro has a young talent or two on their team to future-proof. Also, the young talents has more room to grow while oldies already hit the skill ceiling, they can't contribute to the future of the team anymore. paz seems like the latter here.

Also just found Eternal Fire did have an academy for homegrown young Turkish into the pro-CS, called Eternal Fire Academy. xfl0ud (kid is 19 years old, quite decent in rifler) got benched and they signed up with paz as currently. btw, the chance for Eternal Fire to pass the group stage, into the playoff is too low. Too many 'if' which adds a lot of pressure on their own game. I doubt they could get a clean 2-0 win to fuel that hope.

I'm with the crowd shouting and cheering for PSG.LGD taking the aegis for this year. But it's interesting to see new faces on this year's TI.

Whoever takes the aegis for this year, they'll gain much respect from everyone not just from the fans but also from the fans that they'll beat.

Prize pool is lower than last year and the others and that's because of the pandemic and everyone has grown up thinking that it's a waste of money to spend on games.  Cheesy
I dont believe that it was because of the pandemic. You could really see the influx of funds or the one who had bought bp when it opened and then suddenly slows down.
Why? because the treasures and other perks is never been worth or something boring compared into previous TI's where BP purchase is worth basing up on the items
and treasures that you could get which is something that you couldnt see today. There's a part 2 of it though and lets see if they would be applying something interesting
for the prize pool to shoot up even more.Main event is fast approaching and everyone is really excited for that.
Yes!

That's another reason because we all want the best and Valve isn't listening to us that they should make the treasures and bundles better. But they're not giving it.

They're quite selfish with what their players want. We want to support but at the same time, we want all the best for us to make us see that what we bought is worth it.

Well, last year's prize pool is the highest and this year's pool won't be near to that.

Many people right now are hoping with the LGD to win the game and base on their performance right now actually it is not quite too much good because the team Conquer with the group B is the EG they make a bleed blue 2-0 for the LGD and base on the prize pool actually the valve does not give the quality of the output really deserve by the community there's a tons of persona and not quite good set and immortals for the event, and also one of their bundle only release one per account not the same as the Ti7 2x bundle.

This format with 5 matches at same time is impossible for me to follow. Can't wait for knockout stages where I can cover them easier.

Yeah this group stages format is just silly and kinda impossible to follow. Lot of games are played at the same time and there is no way that Im going to watch over an hour of replay for the games that I missed.

If you are betting you have to watch the replays because highlights are just not enough to see how good the teams are. I cannot follow all the games with this format. I just follow the teams I will bet on later in the playoffs. Hoping that I can collect enough information in the group stage to make decent bets come playoffs and finals.

Or they just don't want to give their all in the opening matches. Lost 2 bets on them today but I think XinQiu needs to wash his face once more Cheesy But yeah, day 2 and hopefully they bounce back and be stronger than what they showed in Day 1.
Well they can't be and worse tomorrow can they? Kidding aside, some though opponents for them tomorrow in OG and Liquid. Not really opposition against which you can count to take points.

Well, they are slaying OG right now in the first game of their series. They are 16K net worth ahead of OG and OG cannot do anything to come back on this game. PSG snowballed right from the start of game 1. It looks good for LGD. They need this win to move up in the standing.

Took this for tomorrow, lost a bit today due to some inconsistence and I kinda surprised that EG was doing so well on day 1 though so Im going to take them to win again tomorrow along with Tundra

I've changed my entire sleeping schedule for this weekend to watch Dota 2 TI games and so far only great games but a few mistakes from production PGL but I'm sure the guys will sort them out.

Strongest team after day 1 in my opinion are : EG <3 , Secret ( Secretober hehe ) , RNG , OG and Hokori who are playing insanely good! Shocked

Finally Bulba decided to expand the hero pool of Abed not limited to spirit bros anymore. Actually this is the real EG because they have a pretty strong players individually and there only weakness are being out drafted many times on there previous tournaments. They master there current meta while there players still strong so this is the result of there patience for so many years of silence and frustration.  Cheesy

With the hate that Bulba has been receiving throughout the years because of his insistence to pick the Spirits on Abed, I think he finally gave in. Abed has lots of talent in a lot of heroes but he cannot show it through an official pro match because his options were always limited by Bulba. Well to be fair, over the past couple of years, the Spirits were the best midlaners due to their versatility and their mobility. But that isn't always the name of the game, and it's obvious that it's not always working out.

LGD is the upsetting team on this TI tournament. I believe they start weak this time and not there usual style on international competition.

Anyone watched Boom vs RNG? Game 2 is ridiculous. RNG is not winning team fights, so they focused on demolishing towers and barracks. It is 70 minutes of gameplay where Boom cannot leave their base because if they do, the bear will wreck their base. The combination of Lycan and Druid demolishing barracks was epic. The barracks were like 3 hits against the bear. It is upsetting and funny at the same time. Have not seen that strat for a very long time.
I watched that game, RNG's macro play was so good and I thought they'd be in trouble later on but it didn't matter since Boom can't stop their pushing lineup.

Same here I didn't expect LGD to sit in the middle of the standings and the SEA teams are in a bit of trouble when all of them are at the bottom of the standings.

Btw, why are teams playing from their hotel room? what's with the casters' and that god awful red curtain behind them and also the shitty mics? is this the TI or some tier 4 event? this is dogshit production 😂🤣
That's just the classic PGL experience and afaik teams usually play in their hotel rooms during the groups then they move to the booth once playoffs start.

I feel like it is better this way. In previous years, they started very strong and dominated the entire tournament but always failed to secure the championship. They are getting figured out. Now they started weak, hopefully they can finish strong because we know that even though they are losing, LGD is still a very strong team. I hope they win this time around.

This day is full of games and of course, gives too much excitement for the betters at the same time fan of Ti11 in Dota 2. Who makes a bet between the match of EG vs LGD for sure many people lose their bets because of an unexpected event happens the Bleed blue manage to win with the uncrowned king of the finals and it is great to trust again with the EG and good to know that they didn't pick storm spirit again for Abed for another time, they make a new meta with the primal beast mid.

Great start by EG. They are undefeated today on the first day of TI11. And they did not just defeat any team, they completely annihilated OG and PSG.LGD 2-0 easily. I did not expect that. I thought beating LGD was a fluke but when I watched them against OG, wow, they are at a completely different level this year. They are on point in every aspect of the game. Out drafting OG and out playing them in the game. If they keep this up, they will easily be the heavy favorite in this tournament. Is this finally the year Fly will win an Aegis?

In the group a elimination match, nixuh and eternal fire faced each other. Eternal fire won the first map in overtime and the second map by playing dominantly. Xantares and woxic's good performances helped them win as a team. This will be a bit of an adjustment period for this team.

Called it last minute. OG @ -0.5 is a gem. True, BOOM Esports is one hell of a team but I haven't really watched them win a long, dragged-out fight. That Naga farming so fast whilst his teammates were being battered by the snowball from BOOM seemed like game 2 was over, but all they needed was a good song and a good pick off and they just win the game. 15k net worth transfer in just one fight. OG is DISCIPLINED this starting game especially Ammar who never got caught loads of times by getting greedy on the map.

2-0, I also stole the draw in Liquid v RNG. So far so good!

I watched this game, and I was impressed by how OG handled the game. Boom was leading in kills, but they cannot lead in net worth. The support of OG was impressive in creating the space for their carry to farm and get back in the game. They know their objectives and timing. They know when the games drags into late game, they will have the upper hand and true enough they won. Impressive DOTA by OG.

[...] Guys, have you seen the bracket B as of the moment? Although the day hasn't ended yet but looking at the standing of the teams there.

They're all 1-1.

Well, this is just for now but later will be changed as the games are still ongoing.

It is just the first day of the group stage. That tie will eventually break when the strong teams face each other. There is nothing special there unless that tie remains when we reach the fourth day of the group stage.

It is hard to watch the group stage. So many good matches playing simultaneously. Can't choose which stream to follow. Anyone having the same predicament?

been staying away from Dota betting for quite some weeks or months (im not sure tbh), came back today but didn't place any bets because i'm still a bit cautious,, heh, it looks like the rng machine keeps delivering crazy results and i dodged a bullet in TI Day 1 lol

LGD struggling, BOOM looking like crap, Hokori nobodies activated beast mode, BetBoom still haven't won a game... it's the Chokenational 2022
