We continue to see really interesting results in the Major qualifiers. G2 lost to gamerlegion, the 60th team in the hltv rankings, and was eliminated from the tournament. According to hltv twitter page, this is the first time since 2015 that g2 will miss a major tournament. A really interesting statistic. After 7 years they won't be able to participate in a major tournament. More or less the same goes for Astralis.

G2 and Astralis go to de_airport! G2 lost 1:2 to GamerLegion while Astralis lost 0:2 to forZe. Both with the final result 1:3 in the group and are eliminated from the next IEM RIO 2022 MAJOR! Could you believe it? Two giants of the CSGO, #5 and #8 of HLTV, with high-profile and top-tier star players, are now become a relic of the past.

Are we going to witness the new era of CSGO, with new faces and names, taking the top of the HLTV ranking? Or just a temporary lowest moment for the top teams?

Xantares, as always, is trying to carry the team. But you have to remember that this is not an individual game but a team game. The better the team is, the better you can play and win. It shouldn't look at one person. There are still shortcomings in Eternal fire that I can't make sense of. This may be due to the individual performance of the players and the coach. This needs to be improved as soon as possible. Otherwise bad results will continue.

First map Vertigo Fnatic's tactic worked. They chose to start T, they thought to break Eternal Fire's defense and they planned to win the match by defending well in the second half and it worked. The round taken in the EF team were purely individual, they can't play any team games. They always dominated the Fnatic Vertigo map as a team, there was never any disagreement.
What caught my attention in Ef is the team's motivation is very low and they seem unwilling.

Eternal Fire are a big disappointment now.

I mean that it's been a very long time since the team was built but there are still huge issues when it comes to playing consistent as a team. XANTARES is trying to take a big responsibility like all the time but his effort alone won't be enough for winning games obviously. The team are no different against fnatic also now. Simple mistakes and having nearly no strategy can't help you get wins. Players are really unwilling to play also as you indicated. woxic stated that also but didn't mention the details about the current problem in the team.

Today most of the news in the Dota 2 community is about the uncrowned king which is Ame the team LGD have a lot of struggles before reaching again at the top of the TI Champions and Ame is one of the top player who would like to attempt again the aegis of immortal even though LGD have a good draft sometimes they got outplayed with other teams and again right now we are waiting for the next attempt of their team of course the TS and OG will surely trying to make a back to back TI champion its been a long time since china got their aegis.
It's been a trending topic but it's not the most hyped news that I've seen today it's the last chance qualifiers for the TI. And that is because it will happen tomorrow.
I'm even looking at that video posted by Holyhexor about that "uncrowned king" and it should be posted today but it's not yet even uploaded or played.

We are looking forward for the LGD Paris to make a good draft and have secured with the spot and for sure I make a prediction here with the top 4 which is the LGD, OG, Team Spirit and Team Secret, puppy never been out in the international he joined from the start but still cant manage at the top 2.

They are cursed in BO5, I guess. They always overwhelm their opponents during group stage and playoffs, but somehow, they cannot get past through BO5. They always loss at the biggest stage and the most important series. I also want to see Ame to get crowned, hopefully this year it would happen.

When the dota 2 releases the True sight it is now becomes a memes because of not washing his face the reason why they lose the game but the ending is not too much sad unlike the lose of the LGD against OG which is really remarkable.

Here we go! Eternal Fire are going to play an important match in this stage against fnatic in only half an hour.

fnatic have been an interesting team recently. Because first they made huge difficulties for FaZe. They were almost beating FaZe on their best map. But after that they B8 by a quite big score like 16-9. The map was Ancient and it was one of fnatic's best maps also. I didn't understand what went wrong exactly there. Considering that I think Eternal Fire have a good chance of beating fnatic by 2-1 in the worst case. The individual performances are quite good now. XANTARES is one of the best players now and paz's performance on Nuke was really promising also.

They lack in team performance so I hope they make some improvement in this one. Because if they lose this matchup also then I assume they will be eliminated in RMR already.

Well yea...the hype is around Ana and Topson but I don't see them having a real chance to win TI because they are kinda fresh in this format of T1.

At least for now, their goal is to get through the Last Chance Qualifier first and get into TI. They should think about winning TI after they qualify.

Personally , I see Entity having a great chance to win TI because , who can stop Stormstormer right now ? there is no other mid in the world who can match this guy right now.

Fortunately, DOTA is a team sport. No one player can carry the whole team. It requires teamwork and chemistry to win this game. For me, Team Spirit and LGD are still the strongest teams in this tournament. I am just basing this on how they perform in tournaments this year leading to TI. But since it quite some time since I last saw the other teams that qualified, it might have changed greatly. We will confirm this when the group stage starts next week.

dupreeh has become the first CSGO pro player to pass the milestone of $2,000,000 prize earned from CSGO events. All thanks to his recently winning $200,000 with Vitality lineup at 1st in ESL Pro League. If you look at the pic below, you'll see how much the Astralis era gave the core Astralis lineup back then a hard boost over other players. I also see SK Gaming era, Liquid era, Faze era with the core like karrigan and rain while also the Navi era as well for s1mple and electronic.

Group B though is a very tough group. Wildcard Gaming and Infamous are most likely the weakest teams that will drop into the lower bracket. I am very excited to see if T1 players are able to utilize this break and worked more on their chemistry and strategies. Their first game will be against Liquid right away and that's like a deciding factor already if they are indeed a serious team enough to compete at the world level.
The main highlight and the team that has the most fans is T1. It's now less than 2 days to go and we're going to see the first action of many teams all together.

We're all going to watch the first match of Team Secret against Tempest. Well, not a known opponent so mostly will bet on Team Secret if the odds are good.

T1 is in a top spot. They are grouped together with VP, Liquid, Xtreme, Infamous. They have liquid and Infamous on the first day. They have a good chance to win against infamous, but I am not so sure against liquid. If they can win on their first series against Liquid, they should look good for the last spot in the top bracket. But they have a back-to-back game in day 2 with VP and Wildcard. that would be tough.

I read that Ana and Topson are grinding hard in rank games since the regional qualifier. They have like 350+ games in rank. I hope they get rewarded for their effort.
350+ games? That's quite a lot. Maybe they don't have much time to talk and review their games with that massive number of games. They also need to bond with each other to boost their confidence and learn to trust each other.

People are gonna be hyped on T1 because of Ana and Topson. I really hope T1 performs well and get their ticket to TI. Anyways, I already had an advance bet on T1 against Liquid. They only need to win 1 map and I'm good. Grin

I'm counting on them but don't be sure with that because it is possible that they will choke.

Nah, getting in the top 4 should be easy for them in the group stage. They may even end at the top of the group stage. But it will be different during the playoffs. They should be very careful since all matches are BO3 in the playoffs.
In the group stage, it's easy.

But securing the one slot, although they really are a strong team they can still choke near the finals. Every team is strong during the group stages but chokes when it's close to the finals or semis.

With the combination of SEA and EU game play, I guess that they can adjust. It's known that the team have been practicing, well most of them are, and that's a good consideration that they has a chance.

Well, let's see if they can beat all of their opponents on the first day.

On top of that Nip ended up winning against Cloud9
They choked hard at the end unfortunately, I remember they were up 14-10 on the last map then somehow NiP turned it around stringing several rounds in a row and close out the series.

I already closed the stream because I am sure that it is already a C9 win, it was just 2 rounds away. But when I checked the result, they lost. Vertigo was supposed to be their map. They were like 10-5 at the end of the first half. Talk about choking hard.

We have here the groups and their game schedules. I have to say that Team Secret should be able to make it into the upper bracket.

There is some interesting news related to CS:GO.

After a seven-year break TSM have announced their return to the game in 2023. They have stated that they don't aim to buy one of the top tier teams. They want to make everything from scratch which is really brave. But their job might not be very easy on this road. They will still need to convince some big names to play for them if they want to be able to fight for titles again. Xyp9x, dupreeh and device were some names who played for TSM in 2015. Who knows maybe TSM might find a way to convince them again and have a start from one point.

I think Eternal Fire can defeat them by a slight gap if they play better as a team. I'll give them a chance @2.27.
I also agree after watching Fnatic lose against B8 they definitely have a good chance and it's unbelievable that G2 is one loss away from elimination together with Astralis.

Btw, paz's performance on Nuke was incredible (22 frags) as it was very effective in taking the win.
Eternal fire was the first win in the tournament, they won 2-1 against aurora. Paz contributed very well to this match on behalf of Eternal Fire. Yes, I knew that PAZ would gradually get used to the team and make extra contributions. It's definitely better than Calyx and Xfloud, it just needs to adapt to the team and things seem to be on track now. Paired with Fnatic tomorrow Eternal fire yes it's a tougher competitor than Aurora but I think Eternal Fire looks better now.

The Turkish team Eternal Fire started to make up for their losses so far by defeating Aurora today. It could have ended by a 2-0 victory also actually but they handed over a good advantage to their opponent on Mirage. After overtime Aurora kept their hopes up on the last map. But Eternal Fire didn't mess up things on Nuke. I still don't like their team performance at all. If you check the individual stats carefully you can see e.g. XANTARES being one of the most performing players in the tournament now. But they are losing a lot as for team effort. imoRR should be replaced immediately. Btw, paz's performance on Nuke was incredible (22 frags) as it was very effective in taking the win. XANTARES was already amazing by 29 frags as always.

Tomorrow they have a matchup against fnatic as Cloud9 lost to NIP. If that match ended the opposite way then G2 were going to be their opponent. I think fnatic matchup is better than that but they should still be very careful in this one. fnatic were nearly defeating FaZe but they lost to B8 also which was shocking to see. I think Eternal Fire can defeat them by a slight gap if they play better as a team. I'll give them a chance @2.27.
