Alliance made an announcement on twitter earlier that they'll be releasing their Dota roster.

https://twitter.com/theAllianceGG/status/1575848316902182912

It took them so long but at least they finally did it and i'm looking forward to see which players will they pick up for the next season.

two big games today:  Fnatic - Evil Geniuses. I'm surprised Fnatic remain as the favorites in this match (ml @1.7), they'll play without Hylissang today so that could be a bit of a handicap, but i guess people simply don't trust NA teams. DRX - RNG, 1.4 odds for the MSI champions and LPL Spring champions sounds like free money to me
EG looked so terrible yesterday as the game was very one-sided and Fnatic did great on their first two games. DRX winning against RNG was a bit surprising even though RNG had the better individual players but unfortunately, DRX had the much better draft.

The biggest shocker of the day was Cloud9's winning against FaZe by 2-1.

Cloud9's pick was Ancient and it was Inferno for FaZe. They both won on the maps they picked. The decider was Mirage and actually FaZe were also good here. But Cloud9 showed a really effective peformance and captured a serious advantage against FaZe. The last rounds were fully under control of Cloud9. FaZe players were really desperate on T side. Ax1Le and HObbit played a huge role in this victory by 27 and 25 frags respectively. After a solid defense on CT side they won 16-11. By the way broky was really terrible on Ancient by only 5 frags but he atoned for it on Mirage by being the top fragger of the team (21 frags).

It is shocking to see FaZe being eliminated this early. I wonder if their era is weakening these days but we will find out about it better as of RMR.
Cloud9 denied Faze's chance to attempt establishing a Faze era took everyone by surprise. broky is still tricky as hell with an unstable form. In inferno, broky got k/d ratting at 1.38 against pros. That's insane but swing to Ancient map, 0.51 k/d. And mirage, borky back to the top frags, 1.19 k/d, while the rest of Faze clan struggled to maintain the 1.0 k/d or trade kill effectively. Maybe karrigan ban/pick map needs to be reconsidered. How they throw the Ancient map to Clould9 to pick even knew one of Faze player, broky is doing pisspoor in that map. Cloud9 got carried hard by ax1Le.

Tonight is going to be fun with G2 meet Navi, Vitality meets Outsiders.

today, Liquid and FaZe to win

Sounds like free money to me except that Cloud9 ended up winning but I missed them both so yeah. I would have gone for over map on Faze vs Cloud9 as Im not really confident on taking either of them to win. Liquid ended up smashing Mouz though, kinda wasnt expecting that would be 2-0 after they kinda struggle against Fnatic yesterday

We are getting closer and closer to last TI qualifiers and personally , I still want to see Secret making to TI or VP. Also , who do you favor for winning TI ? I would say LGD still has the first chance but second chance , I will have to give it to Entity and Stormstormer as this team is on fire right now and very hard to play against.
Entity is the team in form at the moment but T1 is whole different beast than usual tournaments and I am not sure how they will react to the biggest stage possible.

Still last chance qualifiers to be had and I can't wait to see which teams will get their place at T1. Lots of great teams here and should be one hell of intro to the real thing Smiley

Question now is if Entity can carry that momentum forward once they step in on the TI stage. They are one hell of a team and they can surely carry their own against big teams out there, but there are still strong teams qualified and it's a herculean task for them to win against all odds. Could be another cinderella story but LGD is the heavy favorites, just because of how badly they want Ame to win his TI.

So it's less than a week before the last chance qualifier starts in Singapore and then another few days before The International officially kicks in. A close friend keeps convincing me that we should get there and see it live. Maybe someone from here is coming there too? If this event happened pre-Covid I would go there 100%.

I'm expecting the outright odds to favor Team Spirit, OG, and PSG LGD. In the last qualifier, I am still hoping for T1 to qualify.
If I've got no family to be left wherever I go, I'll definitely go in Singapore as I have my passport ready and got some budget in.

But well, this is one of the perks of being tied to your wife hehe.  Grin

If you are single, you have the budget, go with your friend. It's once in a lifetime opportunity and you may never see the TI again near that region if you're near Singapore.
Yeah, you can't just easily decide on your own being a responsible family guy. I'm still single but I am not vaccinated and my cousin just told me that I cannot travel to Singapore without being fully vaccinated and the regular boosters. Maybe things will return to normal in the next crypto bull run so I can travel anywhere without restrictions.

VP? Do you mean, the Outsiders? I really want to see T1 in TI. I think T1 had enough time to work on their chemistry and strategies together. LGD is the most consistent teams over the years but the spell is still there so I favor Team Spirit and OG.

Whilst for the bracketing for the LCQ, it's already there. Any thoughts about the bracketing and the grouping?
Group A has a lot of question marks for me but Group B on the other hand seems like a toss-up aside from WildCard Gaming as I don't have high expectations from the NA region.
Yeah, looks like Group B is we're already anticipating what will be the teams to be ahead on the group stages. But, let's see if there will be some surprises that comes along with the other teams although, some surprise blow are likely coming from SA teams.

Group A is like a war for real to me. It's going to be the harder bracket than B.

Well, 4 teams will be out already after the group stages.

FaZe and Liquid haven't surprised us by eliminating Complexity and fnatic. FaZe scared me first by losing the first map but they made up for that by solid wins on next maps. It would have been a huge surprise if Complexity somehow made it. fnatic resisted Liquid very well by the way. They are giving good signals about their future but they are still trying to be a better team with their brand new roster.

The biggest surprise so far to me was that FURIA were eliminated by Outsiders 2-1. I thought that they would beat Outsiders by 2-1 at worst. Because Outsiders haven't been having good days in the latest tournaments as there has been a significant drop in their performance.

Now, NaVi are playing against Heroic and they are already 1-0 ahead on maps. Even if they lose on Inferno which isn't the best map for them they can finish this on Overpass hopefully. electroNic was the most impressive player on Mirage by 27 frags by the way.

It is the biggest upset so far. I was supposed to bet on Furia to get 2-0 against outsiders, luckily, it slipped my mind. I should have lost in that match. Furia was able to win map 1 but they were already shaky by then. Map 2 and 3, Outsiders dominated them entirely. Outsiders will face Vitality in the quarterfinals. Do you think Outsiders can out gun Vitality in their match? I mean, they performed very well against furia, do you think they can do that same competitiveness against Vitality?

Finally, after that 2-hour tech pause the series finally ended and Navi came out on top in the decider map. I thought Navi would be deflated after that pause but it looked like things went in their favor as they cruised through the map and only dropped a few rounds.

Outsiders are superior to Furia in an absolute way even though Brazilian teams outperform often I would be biased and consider Outsiders a better bet more often I think they have the better aim overall.  Outsiders are equal to all the top teams but not especially on strategy and cohesion in the team under stress which is a big problem and keeps them probably from winning major places but they can beat Furia and/or contest 3 maps.

Heroic pushing Navi to the edge, amazing this  is so close only 2 rounds in it either way for the first 2 maps.  Cadian was a caster on the desk a few times, I thought he might stay there not be on a top team like this ever again.

EG Black  ranked 73 play in a few minutes vs a team never heard of before, can they manage to mess this up despite having a couple of the best players in NA with major titles.

Dota 2 is boring lately but it's going to be an explosion when the last chance qualifier starts next week.

Nothing that much to see but BTS pro series on American region and South East Asian region.

lose to winning the entire match. If it wasn't for the USP eco win from Faze that brought the comeback.

To make it even worse, Furia ended up losing to Outsiders. Its totally fine if it was only the parlay that ended up losing but I had a single ticket on Furia to win against Outsiders though and I was so confident that it was going to hit therefore I doubled the stake on it, oh well I guess lesson learnt on not being too overconfident with these bets lol

RIO major is going to be the best major ever and it's going to kill Valorant's E-sports scene.

Exactly a day after TI ends huh

Hurrah for Karamazov!

Yeah its just silly though that Faze didnt win both of the maps but oh well. I still has a single ticket on Furia with higher stakes so I hope that one ended up winning. Totally okay with all my parlays as most of the time I am abit aggresive with it and decided to pack atleast 3 games onto it which most of the times ended up losing of course lol

I placed a small bet on a similar parlay, got rekt by complexity's fierce performance in map1.
Wasn't expecting them to get even 10 rounds in a map, but they managed to win one and even got very close to winning the entire match. If it wasn't for the USP eco win from Faze that brought the comeback.

Anyways, NA is back and CS:GO is only going to get interesting from now on.
All teams are motivated and will be shooting for the major title.

Well it turns out that you are not. Its clear by comparison that Fnatic is way off compared to Liquid especially after Liquid beat Cloud9, I was totally convinced that they would win against Fnatic but yeah glad taking that bet pay off

Complexity destroyed your parlay as they won the first map of their series and almost got away with the 2nd map as well.

I thought that Faze was a goner there when they were down 5 rounds but they made a comeback and forced overtime. It will hit complexity badly, they almost got that win but a few miscommunications, and the map slipped away. Faze will have a good momentum going in the 3rd map.

Abit early but here is my bet for the ESL Pro League tomorrow

One down, two more to go. Im glad that I chose Team Liquid on my parlay although the odds are pretty sucks there. It should have been atleast 1.7 or something though but oh well atleast its over 1.5

I will go with fnatic on that match, and the odds of 2.3 give a nice payoff if I am lucky.
