It's not a silly bet.  Cool

Nigma won against Brame and so this bet of yours.

Not really though, it was 2-1 and my bet was a handicap bet so that one lost. Nigma was an inch away from losing the qualifiers again and at this rate, Im not even sure if they'll make it to top 3 though. Thinking of taking +1.5 on DGG against Nigma on the next one though, value is at 2.6 so thats a decent value considering how bad Nigma currently is
Missed that, sry.

Later, it's going to be known if DGG can handle Nigma and they'll prove us wrong which what happened to them against Team Liquid. It's still going to be a long way to go for Nigma since they're at the lower bracket. While for those teams at the top, upper bracket, they just have a few steps away from the grand finals.

Right now, it's Goonsquad and Team Liquid playing.

Awhile ago in the SEA qualifiers, T1 continues to prove their dominance but tomorrow, we'll see if Talon will stop them and we'll see who advances to the grand finals.

Dropped a ball a bit in these last qualifiers, there was so much football that I neglected DOTA2. Also my favourite bookies lost a lot of markets for these games and I can play only ML until matches start. When they are live it is usually possible to take handicap or under/over bets.

My choices for morning are Xerxsia ML, and Goonsquad +1.5 if i manage to place it.

You probably got lucky again with your football picks now as you were inactive in DOTA2.  Grin

The same scenario here with regards to DOTA2 markets. I can only pick ML before games start. We nearly have the same picks at last. Maybe I can get lucky too. I also have Xerxia ML but I had goonsquad ML too. Goonsquad odds was too good and I think they have a really good chance of beating Liquid. Now I'm confused if I watch Xerxia's third game or I'll watch goonsquad's first game.

My 10-win streak ended when T1 lost the first aegis to RSG. But I just started another 2 straight wins with T1 barracks and ML. This is my luckiest DOTA2 so far this year. Cheesy

Finally we're moving on to the upper bracket games later as i'm looking forward to Talon vs Polaris since I have the over 2.5 on their series. I watched both teams on their first series and I think Polaris had a cleaner performance while Talon was somewhat sloppy against Lilgun and it felt like Talon took a lot of time to finish their game than they should. Based on that, I think Talon will drop at least a map if they continue making the same mistake.

They really need to address the issue on leaving 23savage alone against offlaners that are of 'low threat' but still has a kill potential.

Imagine being solo killed by a Tidehunter when you are a Faceless Void with 3 points on time walk, while 4 of your team mates are targeting a morph that is at bottom with lots of ready rotations. This team is good when it comes to raw, individual talent, but they really need to fix their comms and rotations as well.

Also I didn't expect that Alliance would lose to Team Bald, I know they won't qualify but still, losing against a low Div 2 team is something that shouldn't happen after having a solid result in the last Tour.

I half expected it. Alliance doesn't seem to be in sync with their past tournaments and also their matches. Team Bald, on the other hand, are just enjoying playing in the qualifiers. No pressure on to them, they just want to take their shot and so far, it's somehow working. I don't know how, but this meme team is making a lot of good plays Cheesy

T1 just won their match against RSG. Very convincing wins and very dominant from Topson and Ana. Both are enabled because of Xepher and Whitemon's active rotation around the map, and also Kuku deciding to get involved on a lot of these engagements. I must say, I'm seeing a TI7 Liquid from T1's performance, on how everyone is supporting Miracle and Matumbaman as much as they can. And when one of those two already had a comfortable lead, they'd just go for the next core that has a hard time in the lane and enable him by picking up kills and just staying around that hero.

Polaris vs Talon series is just starting. I have the chance to make a bet and I am taking my chances with Polaris. I also believe Talon is a little bit shaky on their gameplay in the previous match so I will take Polaris on my bet.

I think taking +1.5 map handicap is a good bet. This will be a close match so I am really expecting it to reach game 3.

Good luck with your bet folks!

Yeah, I agree that Talon is a bit weird with their play when they play against lilgun, but in term of hero draft and meta, I think Talon has better understanding than most of other team, I would still bet on Talon in this match, but I doubt they can win this Qualifier and get TI ticket.

I would favor T1 on this SEA Qualifier, with Ana and Topson I don't think any SEA team could match that duo.

And for Alliance,  I don't know what's wrong with them, they haven't make any good overall performance in any tournament, most of the time they play 1 good game, and throw 3 games after that. They have a good roster, but I think they need to find new young talent.

We have left really interesting matches behind on the first matchday of Group C. Astralis lost to Complexity and this will cause people to lose their faith in them a little. I'll think twice before betting on them for now.  Grin  Complexity were a very comfortable team to beat for them but they couldn't focus on this matchup properly. I wish I made a single bet on MOUZ. It would be a nice winning for me as they didn't even lose one map against Heroic. Now MOUZ seem like the most powerful candidate for the lead at the end.

These are tomorrow's matches. After seeing Astralis struggling that much even against Complexity I might prefer MOUZ against them as well. For the second matchup, I think Complexity can use this huge win as a motivation source to beat HEET. Lastly I feel like ENCE can beat Heroic even though they aren't the favourite according to bookies. Heroic just seem weak now as they couldn't do much against MOUZ especially on the second map. By the way, valde and SunPayus shined against HEET today especially on Dust2 by sharing top 2 places in the scoreboard. This is good news for ENCE as they are both new transfers for the team. ENCE will need them to maintain their performance vs Heroic as well.

Group c matches in esl pro league started today. The first match was mouz-heroic.
Mouz had a good momentum with the players he promoted from the academy team. Except for frozen and dexter, the players were in the academy team and they played really well. Mouz is a successful team in this regard. He discovered young talents and played them first in the academy team and now he has promoted them to the main team almost without having to spend money.
Astralis continues to lose in a way I don't understand. They have a really good roster, but they can't seem to find success. It makes me think that maybe the former coach has a big role in this.

MOUZ did a really great job today by a 2-0 win. Bookmakers were seeing them weaker than Heroic but I was thinking the opposite about this match. However I expected Heroic to win at least one map. They were competitive on Mirage as it ended 16-14. However despite picking Dust2 they lost by even a bigger score like 16-9 this time. xertioN is new around here but he made a huge contribution on both maps. He brought the win by being top fragger on Dust2 also.

The biggest surprise of the day was the result of the Complexity - Astralis match. I don't know how but somehow Complexity got a shocking 2-1 win. After Astralis' winning on Inferno I was like that was it. But the match on Nuke was epic as it ended after 3 overtime. Dust2 was the decider and Complexity managed to perform better than Astralis. It must be a big disappointment for Astralis to lose to a much weaker opponent while they are a tier 1 team. It was interesting to witness while they were being favoured to finish the group at the first spot.

Well , it looks like Nigma vs Brame went to map 3 and to be honest , Nigma should win this series but if they draft like they did in map 2 , I'm afraid Brame won't have mercy on them and will take the series. For me , Alliance should take the series today against Gorpc and Team Bald Reborn as believe it or not , Alliance seems to have found a mojo by playing DK in drafts so it will be interesting to see DK draft again.

Yeah that was a poor draft indeed. Not a lot of answer to that Batrider that costed them a lot of pick-offs. This patch, it's not about outdamaging Batrider but removing the sticky napalm stacks as fast or as safe as possible. Bat easily melts Sumail every time they got caught, and when Bat catches Jugg they cannot do shit. Kuroky really needs to step up his drafting game and learn from the youngbloods doing it right now. He's dead weight, and I think he should just go to coaching position if he still loves helping NGX by sharing his talents.

Yup, the SEA region isn't on the same tier as WEU or China region right now but the potential is there. Indonesia and Philippines with occasionally good players appear from Malaysia, Vietnam and Thailand. What we lack is mental fortitude for SEA region Dota2 players.
There's the difference between the two regions but all I can say is that they've got their own play styles which makes them have those tier 1 teams. I'm just waiting for the T! and Execration to see how ana and topson adopted the play style of a SEA team with kuku, xepher and whitemon. Within a few minutes, we'll see how they're going to play against Exe although it's not really that a strong team compared to them. But it's that everyone is excited to see these two former two time TI champs play on SEA.

I watched both games, and I can proudly say that we taught ana and Topson well. They now know how to tip enemies who made bad decisions that ended up on them getting killed Cheesy Execration has a very strong midlaner but a so-so carry. Bob wins both laning stage against Topson, but T1 just knows how to put pressure on sidelanes and once the pressure is made, they'll just send the 2 supports on mid always to get that mid lead erased from their enemies.
Tipping was part of what they've got for mind games while they were on OG. Bob did play well and we can say as an individual player, he's got the talent but still, it's a team's game. Everyone was hyped with the first and second games, many have thought that there would be the 3rd game but there's none. I have noticed that the two lanes of T1 were just easy and most actions in the early game started in the middle lane. It's actually a good strategy and made a lot of space for ana. T1 will be against RSG within a few hours but before them, it's going to be Polaris and Talon. I wish that Talon and T1 will face on the semis.

I guess it was only Team Liquid got the easiest wins against DGG. What a disappointing team on an upper bracket.

Considering that Team Liquid has the highest DPC points out of all the other teams, that shows that Team Liquid is far more stable in term of performances though so yeah it was a comfortable 2-0 for them.

Took this silly bet, which I shouldnt have just because I'd love to watch this game. This could be the last game for Nigma though if they lose, imagine having top players on your team but you are missing two TI in a row because the team is not functioning as it should be.
It's not a silly bet.  Cool

Nigma won against Brame and so this bet of yours. It could really be the last match that they've got since it's a 2-1 win. Next match will be against DGG esports.

The team that I was just talking about when Team Liquid got an easy win. Well, I don't want to belittle DGG on how they've lost easily to Team Liquid. But, maybe Nigma has got the better confidence with their match tomorrow.

It's like everything is indicating a MOUZ win for this matchup.
i fell into the bookies trap  Sad

i thought it was gonna be a rough debut for xertioN's, but he ended up top fragging

ngl, the quality of this group is really bad, it feels like a tier 3 tourney like Pinnacle Series or Funspark  Grin  i might just skip this group and save myself from disappointment of losing more bets :⌃)
Skip all the matches in ESL pro league group stage, dude. Take from my earlier post. Too much gap between the top tier team and the other. Top tier teams can get past this stage easity, they either withhold their strats or find a match to 'fixed'. Full of bullshit isn't worth your money right now. Better save your money for the playoff matches where things start to spice up.

Most interesting game today is probably Astralis vs Complexity, should be a good win for Astralis. And tomorrow is playing Astralis vs Mouz which is going to be a bit closer match but should still be a win for Astralis. Overall the most anticipated match is going to be Heroic vs Astralis on Sunday as both of the teams seem the strongest in group C. I think that Heroic is going to beat Astralis, they played really well in their last few games.

Rather than Astralis - Complexity, I see MOUZ - Heroic as the most interesting game of the day. Even though MOUZ are in a better form than Heroic bookmakers are favouring Heroic for the win here. I also saw that there was a change in MOUZ roster. But if the new player (xertioN) shows a decent performance MOUZ can be a really great choice @2.24. Astralis @1.24 and ENCE @1.41 are more reliable choices of the day of course. Neither Complexity nor HEET are in a condition that they can win maybe even one map.

When it comes to Heroic to beat Astralis, this is possible of course if we consider their recent head-to-head matches. Heroic defeated them in their last four matches. However there have been three months passed since they played against each other the last time. We should be ready for any kind of a result.
Mouz was a really good choice, congratulations, I was closer to MOUZ but I skip this bet. I had a chance to follow the match a little bit. There was a head-to-head match at Mirage. Although Heroic Miragede won 14 rounds, towards the end of the match, MOUZ was able to get out of the way and they finished the match without going to overtime. Even though there was a close score on the Dust 2 map, towards the end of the match, MOUZ took control well and won with a score of 16-9.

So far in the ESL Pro League, G2 have been the most impressive team very interestingly. They performed even bigger than Vitality which are one of the striking teams in the recent times. If somehow G2 even make it to the title it would be a huge turning point for them. This isn't impossible these days. Because not only FaZe but also NaVi are fragile recently. If they don't have their usual consistent performance back then this could mean an opportunity for some different team to win a championship.

A finale between G2 and Vitality wouldn't be bad honestly.  Grin  They are both amazing these days and we might be bored of seeing a FaZe - NaVi finale nearly all the time also. Anyway it is still early to make such assumptions of course but the current look of the tournament is like a sign for some change this time.

m0nesy is hitting a lot of good shots across all of their games, and if that guy can stay on form until the end of the Pro League, they can win this tournament and bag the trophy. Every single person in G2 is performing consistently, and is able to do their job as expected of them by their captain. A lot of clutches too on all of their players and IMO, there has never been a team this dominant in a single tournament for a long time since the old  Astralis of 2017 - 2018. I'm also expecting of a G2 vs Vitality finals and see Nuke get picked by either of the teams. Both are extremely good on that map and it's only a matter of who executes faster and who can hit the best shots.

m0NESY is really a player who is hard to stop these days. He played a big role in the win against FaZe also. I even see him the most impressive AWP player recently because s1mple has lost his usual form in the recent times. Of course he is 24 years old while m0NESY is 17 now. This is a big factor affecting the reflexes of professional players. However s1mple is still a very special player so this is a big success for m0NESY already at this age.

About the Nuke choice I also think the same as you. In fact, G2 have a 50% win rate while Vitality have 60% on this map. These might not seem impressive for people. However for example every person who watched the G2 - FaZe duel on this map knows how amazing G2 destroyed a Nuke pro there (FaZe won 9 out of 9 matches on this map before playing vs G2).

One of the most awaiting match right now is the T1 because of the two TI champions are in the team with Kuku and this never fails us because it gives a good quality fight imagine they make a potential to the Marci pick as a support into a carry game and also topson makes a new meta with the morpling mid and the reason why T1 win the game this is so good to make a bet with the T1 right now it is all or nothing game for the SEA qualifiers.

I had a great day yesterday as I went 2-0 with my Polaris and T1 bets. I thought Ana would fucked up my bet when he played Marci as a core. It worked though as they were able to finish the game early but I still doubt Marci's capability as a core during long games. Topson looks like he is not yet at his best form after he was losing in the mid-lane during the laning period. But I was happy to see them finally play together. They looked relaxed, calm, smiling, and confident. If they can perform flawlessly in this qualifier then they are ready to mess with the top teams at TI.

I was watching game 2 of Neon and Atlantis. At first, I thought Neon was playing smart, but it seems the opposite. I don't understand why they were all at home when Atlantis was the one pressing them. They could have sent even 1 or 2 heroes to the bottom lane to stop the siege and be on the offensive again. What a waste. I'm curious how game 3 looks like after that demoralizing defeat.
