on the other hand, FaZe are so inconsistent lately dropping maps left and right. I expected a close series yesterday but boy i was so wrong, quick 2-0

no way i'm risking on money on the last three matches of this group, every series including MIBR - FTW will be a 50/50 gold nova tier game  Grin

I was confident about a FaZe win on Nuke. They were much better than G2 there. However FaZe still continued to play badly on even their best map. m0NESY was really unstoppable here with 28 kills. broky's 1v3 clutch was really delightful but FaZe were still very inconsistent during the match. After the first half ended 10-5 FaZe needed to win the pistol round to make a comeback but they failed again. G2 kept their dominance and defeated them. The final round was really interesting. FaZe couldn't win that easy round and missed the chance of playing OT.
Yesterday's match between Faze and G2 is disgusting, guys. We all thought Faze at least have a win on their best winrate map, Nuke. But somehow they lost to G2 at 2-0 quickly. In the first half of map Nuke, G2 took the lead with 10-5. In the second half, G2 hit at 14-5 then 'nicely' lose 5 rounds to Faze, 14-10 now. G2 lead again at 15-10, just one more round and the game is set but again, they 'nicely' let Faze took 2 more rounds to 15-12 before finally ending it with 16-12 overall (pic below) See, under bettors lose, over bettors win the pot prize.

I know, top teams like Faze or Navi did their bullshit, keep withholding their strats at this group stage. Just do enough to barely pass the group stage because why reveal your card early, right? Maybe C and D group stage will be the same, top tier teams will do their bullshit again. Almost thought I was at least right on my bet at under for map Nuke yesterday. Really disappointed.

Not just the last three rounds in this group stage, I think I'm done here. No more betting at this group stage no matter how confident I am. I'll hold back till the playoff match for the ESL pro league.

I was not able to watch Faze vs G2 last night but was surprised to see the result of the game today. Faze disappointed most of us by losing with a 0-2 loss against G2. I really did not expect this to happen. I believe Faze will be able to take down G2 with G2 only getting 1 map. But G2 was able to pull an upset against the #2 in the world and in a very convincing fashion. They took Map 1, Dust 2, 16-7. While in Map 2, Nuke,  they won 16-12. Can anyone explain what happened to Faze in this series?

Good thing I took G2 to win Map 1 which still puts me ahead in revenue.

You did good by betting on that because G2 picked Dust2 for the first map and their performance was really great. Twistzz and broky had really poor performances on this map and dragged down their team even more as a result.

whew, finally, my losing streak comes to an end,

game ended so late but it was so worth it, banger series and a winning bet. LCS Finals: Cloud9 - 100

we'll also have LEC finals: G2 - Rogue 🔥🔥 G2 -1.5 @1.7 looks like free money, but i want to be greedy and go with the 3-0 correct score 🤔

G2 are literally incredible in the recent times.

Exactly, which is why Im going to bet on them again. Its abit silly but I guess I'll take the risk for -1.5. Im not saying that Xtreme Gaming is worst but with RNG playing on the last Major, they definitely are way ahead of Xtreme Gaming that doesnt even play anything out of the DPC china region. Taking over 2.5 maps should be the safest bet on this game but Im going with this so I hope RNG wont choke  Roll Eyes
I'm also going with RNG on this series but not the handicap though  Tongue I can't blame you for taking it since most of the series results have gone 2-0 and the same thing happened in their last meeting during the DPC Tour 3 so taking that juicy odds could easily pay off. Also one of the reasons why I prefer RNG here is that even though Xtreme Gaming has solid core players that could go up against RNG while their supporting duo might have a hard time which could give RNG the edge here.

While I'm watching a match for Dota 2 TI qualifier on the NA, I've hovered through the other regions and gone through the Western Europe.

This made me realize that this is the bloodiest region IMO. It's because only 1 will secure a slot and even another 2 teams get in to the last chance qualifier, only 2 from the whole last chance qualifiers qualified teams will get in.

Each region has 2 last chance qualifier qualified team and from that whole point. WEU has got the teams that we used to like and watch like Team Secret, Nigma, Team Liquid, Alliance, goonsquad and from the other regions too we've got some favorite teams.

So, that just made me realized that we may not see some of those favorite teams of ours in the TI that used to be part of it for many TIs.

Right, they can't go wrong on this one and have all those choking they've made in the past as learned lessons that they'll never do it again on this qualifier.

I'm interested in RNG vs Aster.Aries. Leaning towards RNG but they choke a lot and has been wildly inconsistent for months now.
I thought that RNG will choke against Aster.Aries but they did played well against them. As RNG proceeds, they're now going to face Xtreme gaming.

And whoever wins between the two is guaranteed to the grand finals. While the loser will go down to the lower bracket to have that guaranteed 3rd place.

I thought so too. I just don't have the confidence to bet on any Chinese teams when it comes to crucial games that needed their everything. I've been burned a lot by RNG and PSG.LGD in the past that I swear I'll never bet on them ever again no matter how convincing the matchup is for them. There's just a lot of uncertainty surrounding Chinese teams be it a small tournament or a huge tournament. They show dominance on the first parts then just lose it as the tournament progresses.
I just like watching them but to bet, I have doubts where I should do it if it is on this region. All that you've said is the same to what I feel, I'm just a fan of them because most of the time they're toe-to-toe with other teams especially in China.

But for betting, sometimes it's really disappointing.

I thought that RNG will choke against Aster.Aries but they did played well against them. As RNG proceeds, they're now going to face Xtreme gaming.

Its TI qualifiers though and you can choke the whole year but there is one time that you cant do any silly mistake on official games which is the TI qualifiers. Getting into TI and get a slice of the prizepool is pretty much the dream of all teams, its higher than most official tournaments throughout the year so yeah they definitely wont choke which was why I bet -1.5 on them
Right, they can't go wrong on this one and have all those choking they've made in the past as learned lessons that they'll never do it again on this qualifier.

G2 are literally incredible in the recent times. After seeing them destroying FaZe 16-7 on Dust2 I watched the second map which was Nuke. This was the most successful map for FaZe while it was totally opposite for G2. As a result I was expecting a clear answer from FaZe to equalize the BO3. However G2 made a spectacular effort here. Their performance on CT side was mesmerizing. I was still hoping to see FaZe making a comeback by playing CT side better than them. However they were making simple mistakes. I don't remember how many eco or half-buy rounds G2 got against them. Even the last round was exactly like that.  broky was really impressive on Nuke but it was still not enough for a win of course.

There was something wrong with FaZe's focusing on the series here which led them to lose by 2-0 surprisingly.

Maybe it's just that G2 is monstrous on this match and that FaZe just cannot match that firepower. They still had some good rounds and amazing calls in Nuke. It's just that m0NEsy is popping off and is just constantly hitting shots with that awp. I'm not used to seeing NiKo top fragging but hey, at least he's giving the young ones their time to shine.

Also, as what the CS:GO loading screen says: "Maybe your opponent is just having a good day." and perhaps that's why G2 won that match Cheesy

While on the NA, Team Felt was already out and they were the team that has to continue playing with just 4 members as one of them got disconnected.
Too make things even worse for them, they were firmly in the lead without about 13k gold lead and cruising towards victory. And of course I had Felt +1.5 @2.8 on my ticket so I felt the injustice of disconnect more personally this time. Same thing happened yesterday as well, we shall see whose turn to lose by technical error comes tomorrow.
That was unexpected and I think that also happened in some teams in the past. But yeah, that's really injustice, and teams that are participating in this life-changing and grandest tournament qualifier should make sure that they've got 2-3 ISPs so that there's a back up for them.
It's a normal thing for these pro teams to have it but sad for them, they haven't seen this coming. I guess for the other regions that's about to have their matches, they'll make sure that this won't happen to them or else, they're going to waste that opportunity if they really had it.

The winner of the match, which I was eagerly waiting for, was g2. I said Faze was the favorite, but I added that g2 could make a surprise, which it did. In the match where individual performances stood out, g2 did not let their strong opponent play and showed us a nice match. Monesy is a really young and talented awper. We can say that broky couldn't do anything against him today. As a team, g2 was the better side. Everyone was very good and well practiced.

Faze vs G2 is now live, map ban/pick is below. G2 picked Dust2, Faze picked Nuke and Mirage left over. Insane 100% win rate there for Faze in map Nuke. Weird that G2 didn't ban Nuke instead of Inferno. Although G2 is bad at both, they still have a lower win rate on Nuke vs Inferno. And Faze on Nuke is their best map. My guess is G2 will not try at all in Nuke, save energy for map 3 if possible so high chance it'll be under for map 2. Tho I don't know about this, G2 isn't that great in Dust2.

BIG didn't surprise people by losing a map even against FTW.  Grin  It was even a map they picked. They were actually more experienced on Dust 2 and FTW were much weaker than them on paper. I was afraid of the decider map for BIG because they were very unsuccessful on Nuke. It is the complete opposite for FTW however BIG have started very solid by 6-0 now. It looks like something is finally changing about this team. First the MIBR win and now winning here would be a big help for their morale.

Maybe these opponents aren't top tier but starting a good form is important for the team performance to be more consistent. The most difficult test for BIG is against FaZe tomorrow. Even if they don't manage to finish in top 3 at least they can prove that they are recovering by showing a decent performance. FaZe would beat them anyway though as there will be no guarantee for their lead in the group yet.

BIG - FTW has started. I checked out the odd for a 2-0 BIG win but it was very low of course. It isn't worth trusting BIG on that. Who knows maybe FTW can make a surprise and win a map against them. They couldn't win a single map so far but BIG are a wounded team these days. Even though BIG defeated MIBR they are still not in a good condition in the end.

BIG still have a chance for the third position but it is a really low one. Let's say they defeated FTW by solid results today. They will hope MIBR to defeat Outsiders which is too difficult. There is a big gap between BIG and Outsiders in terms of round difference also (23). Last matches are very difficult for them both. There is no way BIG are defeating FaZe comfortably to have a chance. G2 and FaZe would still be in a race for the leadership then. So most probably BIG will say goodbye to this tournament.

This is today's program in the ESL Pro League. I see only one match that might be competitive and that is FaZe - G2 obviously. G2 have impressed people a lot by their recent performance. HooXi and jks started to get better after some matches and the team are in a good form recently. FaZe are still a very tough team to defeat for G2 of course. But G2 can at least show some resistance even if they lose here. Winning one map and not getting embarrassing scores would still be good for them against the number one team. Outsiders and BIG should be able to win easier. BIG finally won a match after a long time. It was still not very easy against MIBR but this was very important. With the help of this win they can play more confidently against FTW.

I think FaZe @1.52 and Outsiders @1.31 are great choices for the day. BIG have only a 1.03 odd so I don't think it's worth betting on.

I am also betting that Faze will win the series against G2. G2 has good performance in the tournament so far but they are still shaky at times. If there is anyone in this group that can pull an upset to Faze, it would be G2. Faze dropped a map yesterday against Outsiders and it is possible that they will drop a map in this series as well.

I am taking G2 to win the first map but Faze to win the series.

Good luck to your bets.
