Anyone watched that OG v GG? Casters were only noticing how well bzm and Yuragi played but man they are missing out big time on Taiga. That dude is so good as a pos 4 even way back on his days in Liquid. His subtle setups in teamfights make the fights look easy, especially during that game 2 against GG. Always knows when to throw his skills and when to disengage. It will be a shame to see him not get many wins with his exemplary performance on this DPC season.

All of the OG player is performing well on the game. There hero for pos 3 to 5 is so strong and always counter the GG hero draft. It's  normal for the commentators to notice the core heroes most of the time if all of the players is performing well. The only time support have the spotlight is when their cores is not performing yet they win the game by doing some good highlights game play. In my local commentator, Ammar game is what being notice most the time because OG win is always relying on his performance. Most of the lose of OG is when Ammar can’t win his lane or he fails to give a proper setup during team fight.

Even the EN casters notice Ammar's performance on both games, but little attention towards Taiga who has been setting up good rotations for bzm and Ammar. For me, the MVP on both games is really Taiga. Biased I know, but he just enabled his cores on tricky fights that they could have lost. Not enough credit on those bushwacks and those ults that have always connected, enough to take down one enemy which gives an advantage to the team.

Oh well, glad that OG has been performing really well. They deserve the wins as you can see that their chemistry is already starting to brew something positive for the team.

I really understand your point because all his bushwhack is pretty on point to catch enemy and save team mates on game 1. His game 2 hoodwink is the best since his bushwhack is perfect setup to kunka combo skill which surely obliterate enemy that they will caught. The final clash on the river is the best when they the turn around clash while they are chasing by all the member of GG. He caught 4 hero of GG that completely erase when kunka benefits on that setup..

Do you think OG is back again? Or still choke in after group stage?

Does anyone watch the match of OG versus Tundra? People make a bet with the tundra because they know the capability of this team because of their winning streak recently and we now the OG loses to their previous games with the game 1 it's already in favour of the team Tundra because of their good drafts but after they lose a fight in the top lane their core makes a buy back and the whole team bought back too but the timber conquered the game and makes them all die back that's why OG win the game 1 and after that in the game two they can easily manage to win a sweep 2-0.
I still remember that game 1, it was just painful to watch I think Tundra lost their patience and someone from their team made the call to buyback in order to salvage the team fight but it felt like they somewhat hesitated in doing so as they bought back one by one like throwing bodies to the meat grinder. OG's timing was just great when it comes to dragging out that crucial engagement until Tundra expended all their BKBs so they could easily all in on the cores.

Also eyeing NiP @1.70 vs Team Liquid later, still not convinced with Team Liquid it felt like Heroic had an off day. We'll see if Team Liquid could pull it off twice in a row against another solid opposition or will NiP eliminate them later today.

Yup, watched that series as I had a ticket on over 2.5 maps but GG honestly deserved the 2-0 loss as their draft was just horrendous plus GG losing in the laning stage just gave OG some good tempo to control the game from start to finish.

Looks like teams are starting to find some way to crack GG as the same thing happened during their series against Nigma. I wouldn't worry that much about OG getting wins as they're in a good position so far to take the first spot in the standings as they have a much easier schedule compared to GG.

Did you guys see how Secret lost second map? Last resort antimage gamble with selling half of his items for building damage items and then gambling on ancient rush. I would have enjoyed that thoroughly if I hadn't had this ticket.

The ticket was so close, dang. Watched that game and its just feels weird that Secret lose on the 2nd map. Sumail was literally carrying the whole team on the 2nd map only to ended up losing because they decided to gamble on the last base race. I guess both Nigma and Secret will be going down the drain and play on 2nd division next season ?  Tongue

Secret is somewhat becoming a tier 2 team with their recent inconsistencies. I don't have any problems with their drafts. It can still fight against the current meta, but the problem is that their decision-making in the mid game is extremely poor. That forced base race is just bad judgment, given that AM has a divine rapier and CK can practically stall a Medusa knocking in on the base of Brame. Whatever the result is though, they (Secret) need to reevaluate their decision making skills since other T2 teams seem to do it better than them this current DPC season.

This is because there offlane Iceiceice didn't play what expected for him, He has a lot of questionable play in there past games. Plus the fact that they have a good pos1 since Nisha and Sumail are both suited as a Midlaner. Even on OG, Sumail is struggling as pos1 especially when they fighting against strong opponents. Sumail is a good player as solo player but he is so much greedy as pos 1 as if he is always playing as a midlaner. They should get a solid pos1 and offlaner if they want to improve as a tier 1 team in EU.

Quite hesitant on BIG. They have fucked my bets many times over for me to trust them ever again. Sissi is a good team but inconsistent so far with their results, but even then I wouldn't place any bet for BIG even if they are against a tier 2/3 teams. They ought to redeem themselves, especially faven who is always underperforming and might even be the weakest link of the group.

I know what you mean, in the past BIG wasn't so consistent when it comes to the big tournaments. But don't forget this isn't the Tier 1 team BIG from the Major tournaments, this is BIG Academy - the training team behind BIG. The team is much younger than the players from BIG and the roaster is also quite new, on average the player is 20 years only and in the team for 2-3 months. The played really well against Sissi State Punks, wining 16-4 on Nuke.
Tomorrow will be the match BIG Academy vs Cowana Gaming as part of the ESL Meisterschaft, which is going to be a very close match. Both teams are very equally skilled and are almost on the same ladder place. Hard to predict a winner here, because there are players like glaVed who played a long time for BIG Academy but is now with Cowana. I would still go with BIG on this one though. For the other game tomorrow Sprout vs No Limit Game it should be an easy win for Sprout - they only lost 2 games this season.

I wasn't able to tune in live but I watched the highlights, that must've sting for Team Secret from nearly getting 2-0 win to Brame successfully pulling off the reverse sweep.  Lips sealed

Before the series started I thought this would be a guaranteed win for Team Secret but man they seem to be a hit or miss so far.

After that loss, the best-case scenario for them would be to go 4-3 and hope there would be another tiebreaker for the 3rd and 4th place spot similar to the previous season.

That second game was wild holy. Brahm played the map really well with how they delayed in the first half and then proceeded to control the map on the second half. Honestly a pity, Secret had a pretty good opening for that 2nd match. That ending was kinda anti-climatic though I must say, though rather understandable since the goal was to win anyway. The AM just straight up pushed through after breaking top barracks and Secret somehow didn't react or failed (idrk which) to react towards the threat he had with his DR.

Must admit this one hurt badly, so close and yet nothing. Well at least I get my insurance free bet to loose it tomorrow  Undecided
That's so close and it truly is hurting when you're just 1 win away. I haven't watched the game yet since I'm away but I guess that would go viral again in the dota 2 community if that has led them to lose.
Well, some unexpected things really happens just like that especially if the game is on crucial mode and I've seen plays like that of selling items for some do or die situations that can flip the game if they're on their way to losing.

⌃  i have Team Liquid ml in a 3 fold

i placed my main ticket of the day in a football game, otherwise, i would've gone with Liquid to win or +2.5 FaZe v Players in the Pro League... i forgot to include the latter in my ticket, but that particular match is gonna be a banger 🔥

This one ended up losing, the draft on the third map was just bad on the side of UD Vessuwan.

Moving on, I'm taking the over 2.5 maps between Team Liquid vs Entity, Team Liquid should get the win here but I think Entity will get at least a map as they looked solid during the champion's league tournament plus they manage to get a map off Tundra and Gladiators.

you guys watching Nigma? wtf is this? i just got here and i'm seeing a stomp and half from nigma in game2 with a massive 20k gold lead at the 30min mark... 322 or did Nigma actually remember how to play dota against no other than the first place undefeated team? what are the odds eh  Lips sealed

Its not really that Nigma is getting worse somehow, I personally think after watching today's game that most of the other teams are just getting better. Alright, imagine if Nigma's member still stick around on same team and play on 2nd division next season lol that would have been hilarious.

Just look at kuroky and iLTW's performances each game. Personally, I think they should bench kuro as a coach and get a new pos 5. There are tons of underrated but good pos5 in WEU that doesn't have a decent team. Also, iLTW's carry playstyle just doesn't fit with current meta. His heroes are too limited, and farming patterns too obvious that he's always either ganked or join fights although he knows they will lose it. His decision-making and itemizations also feels weird too, but what do I know? I'm just a 6k scrub that bets on these guys for fun.

Still 3 rounds to go against ETG, Liquid and Secret and Im pretty sure that they wont be able to win against three of those to stay up on the 1st division so yeah Nigma is over this season

I’m thinking the same too. Maybe really need to down again on Division II  to get there good game again. They have an inconsistent pos1 and I’m surprised they are still sticking to ILTW while they are when Weeha is still with them. But I can’t blame Nigma for looking like they really play poor on last match with Gladiator. Gladiator is just so good with this current roster. They are dominating EU in all tournament so facing a struggling Nigma is just an EZ for them.

I've updated the Calendar in the OP.
Another month, another day closer to the death of the OW pro scene

Alright, imagine if Nigma's member still stick around on same team and play on 2nd division next season lol that would have been hilarious.
i would throw money at Nigma in every single 2nd div game lol they're bad but they're not as bad as some 2nd div teams. They'd have no problem going back to div1

this iteration of EG is now 0-8 in international tournaments... won 1 map this entire tournament
owch, they did get a map vs col.   Maybe it'll click into place for them some day
EG are so bad, it's not even funny anymore. They have no business getting invited to these top tier tournaments only to get deleted, it's a wasted spot :/

Going for some division 2 action later today as I like UD Vessuwan @1.68 vs Motivate Trust
i'll just keep an eye out for some good value in tier 2 LoL, EU Masters play-in start today
