No doubt that Drachyo is good at farming but he's easily flamed during all of the 3 remaining games. Especially on the last game with that faceless void, there are a lot of errors he made and I won't even blame him for that. Look at the heroes of Azure Ray, all of them seem to be a counter to his hero. I think they're out drafted and the brilliant picks and strategy of Azure Ray really did well on this.

At least this time, we get to see a team that's able to beat GG and it's not just some wins but it's a reverse sweep. I can't imagine while watching it when GG was able on 2-0 against AR in the grand finals and in just a few snaps, it's 2-2. Well, great team plays done and momentum has been seen for the team of AR. Right picks also did well for them. Some few misplays and they're able to take that opportunity.

I also like the item choices of Centaur Warrunner on the last map but I'm not so sure if that's effective with Naga siren with the Eternal Shroud. I just don't see the essence of it but maybe the magic resistance did help since the heroes of GG were mostly magic damage and they have bare physical damage so it's a plus I guess.

Right hero, right itemization, outdrafting the enemy and taking advantage of slip moments. We've got another champion and how long have been seeing GG dominated this year and how long it has been since we see a chinese team that champed?
Leading on maps 2-0 and losing 2-3 in the end, I didn’t expect this. Something broke the GG on the 3rd map and they could not rise after that. They probably thought that the grand final was in their pocket, while Azure Ray gathered all the strength in themselves to show everything they were capable of.

Yes, Shiva on Centaur actually worked very well. This item has Veil of Discord which deals 15% more magic damage to all heroes hit by the wave.
I am not also expecting that because GG was too good when they've won the first 2 maps. But then, Azure Ray managed to come back and give them a reverse card that shall sweep them with the entire series. Those three remaining games have been a lot of chance for the GG but they just can't beat Azure Ray easily.

Those item choices were actually good and did helped them a lot. And that's why they deserve to be the champ for this ESL.

Before the start of the tournament I laughed that  Azure Ray could win the tournament and not be disqualified, and that’s what happened. Even N0tail said that the new patch played an incredible role in the success of Azure Ray.
Well, the change in the roster actually helped. Wherever is XinQ is going, it seems that the team is getting some buff. There's no doubt that most of us became impressed with how they've ended up the series because they were just so freaking good.

Dyracho is showing the same kind of chokeness. He is good on farming but very weak on team fights these days compared last year when they are dominant team on majors tournaments.

Vitality really a step in front of everyone in CS go scene lately right ? I mean Faze had an amazing year and won a couple of trophies but I kinda feel their era is behind them and from here now I really don't see them making a lot of finals in 2024. They also need to chance Ropz form lurker back to fragger because he is a head shot machine and I don't know if he wants to be a lurker lately but it really doesn't suit his play style.

Now back to Vitality who could have played 8 consecutive maps today against Faze and most likely would have dropped maxim 1  Grin and that says a lot about how good they are right now.

There are still lots of haters of Azure Ray even with their win, but that reverse sweep is something really remarkable against a behemoth that seemed untouchable at the early stages of the tournament. Quinn must be awfully pissed with the win being snatched from him again.

Dyracho is showing the same kind of chokeness. He is good on farming but very weak on team fights these days compared last year when they are dominant team on majors tournaments. Yatoro probably gave him an inferior complex for beating him badly multiple times while they are still the favorite.

I didn’t watch the game but I knew AR members are the previous LGD players which is really capable on this kind of upset matches especially against GG that has a problem on closing a tournament in success.

They kind of got cocky on game 3, that's for sure. Diving in deep, not gauging the enemy's team fight strengths, and taking extended fights while AR is trying to just mind their own business and disengage when they know they can't really gain anything. Underlord and Gyro at top took too long to destroy the first tower and do some rotations elsewhere. FV managed to catch up on farm because Storm was able to keep GG busy. It's just an overall failure to meet the timings + taking in fights that aren't beneficial which lead to that game 3 loss. GG lost composure from there and Dyrachyo failed to carry the game.

Anyone watched GG vs Azure Ray grand finals in ESL Kuala Lumpur? I really enjoyed watching XinQ stomp on most of GG's rotation and team fights, and boy he's really a gifted Rubick player. He wasted lots of rotations and bought lots of time for his team to soak up the farm while the rest of GG go around the map and try to get a kill. I was hoping for Dyrachyo to get something while team fights are happening, but on the last 3 games he's just taking up space and remained to be unimpactful up until the end of the series.

Are we not getting tired to see GG in all the finals from this year ?
I'm tired but they're just simply strong and consistent.

While there's a message from Insania to Bulba about having Saberlight on their team, a drafter/coach that don't have a good use of their talents.

That's savage for Insania to say that in front of the crowd in Malaysia. I don't know if that's for real or they're actual friends in real life.

Ah no no , they always roast each other because they are friends in real life so nothing to be worry about  Grin Grin Grin they troll each other anytime they have the chance to do it even if they are not on the same team.

SaberLight so far is proving to be a very fair addition for Liquid in this tournament and I'm smelling a revenge spot for Liquid in the grand finals against GG ...or they will lose the 4th consecutive finals against them but I do hope Liquid will have a revenge story here.
That would be awful if they would really be able to get that 4th loss on grand finals against GG. Somewhat i do agree with those words that its a little bit boring that GG do really dominate out with those majors but with that recent TI they cant be able to get at least a win on TS which does indicate that TS would be always superior. As for Saberlight in addition to liquid then lets see
if he would really be that effective, sometimes i dont really like this guy talks or approach.  Cheesy

Aha!

I didn't know that they are friends in real life, that's why insania have the guts to say that in the crowd. LOL. I was trolled then by what he said on the stage.

Let's see if they'll be able to beat Azure Ray by tomorrow. They are the final last hope to beat GG but both teams have the chance to beat them though.

2.6 is a very good odds for Azure to win. And it doesn’t even matter that they lost the first map and are now playing the second. Although I'll be surprised if the Gladiators win them 2-0.
And congratulations on your BB victory, it was a great bet.

It was a good odds but it meant nothing when the bet lost. I guess thats it for Azure Ray's good run huh, obviously either Betboom or Liquid are going to beat them up in the lower bracket if they lose horribly like that go GG. Break even on this bet because BB odds was 1.98, well consider it break even but I was hoping that I could get better odds by taking -1.5 for Betboom

Its not actually break even though, because I made another bet and it was over 2.5 maps for Azure ray - GG and yeah it sucks

Are we not getting tired to see GG in all the finals from this year ? They literally missed one in DreamLeague season 23 I think and that was the only time. Today it was no difference but Azure Ray really played awful , had a bad draft , made bad calls during first couple of minutes on the lanes and GG simply took advantage of this and quickly 2-0 them.

Now , it's time for BetBoom to show that they are indeed a legit team who can play aggressive Dota 2 and show why they have the most talented individuals in this game. If not ...well , it's BetBoom so nothing should surprise as from this org.

Azure didn't win but instead Gaimin Gladiators have beaten them twice straight. Looks like that we're going to have another GG championship as they're now waiting at the grand finals. While Azure Ray is waiting on the semi finals in the lower bracket and whoever wins with BetBoom and Team Liquid will face them.

Currently, the game of BB and Team Liquid is on game 1 and it seems that Team Liquid going to win it but it's not yet finish. The early minutes of the game, they've punished Micke's medusa easily and the clash were all great but right now. It looks like the end game will be for Team Liquid. We're now at the 37 minutes time of the game and mid barracks are destroyed for the BetBoom's side.

IMO, it's BetBoom that has a bigger chance to beat GG if they ever go in the finals. But if it's going to be Team Liquid, we know the past of them and GG. Whilst AR, beat GG in the group stages, they're easily beaten and a total unmatch game against GG a while ago.

No matter how much I dislike BetBoom as an org , I really can't ignore their Dota 2 team because all of those players are pure talent withing dota 2 community and the fact they quick 2-0 Tundra tell us that they kinda sandbagging until now and I won't be surprised if they actually win this tournament. Remember , the hype around BB Dota 2 team was immense just after they announced the full roster.
Yes, we remember. BB defeated G2 Invictus Gaming in the lower bracket and will meet Liquid in a couple of hours. I would like BB to go through the entire lower bracket so confidently. Tundra is now packing their bags for home, they need to do something urgently with their game or roster or they will sink even lower.

BB swept Tundra and yes, these games were long games.

Why am I not surprised that this happened  Roll Eyes. Well yeah I decided to go for over maps then somehow both games ended up with clean 2-0 sweep. I've been losing tons because on this ESL and it sucks so bad but I just cant stop

Lets try again then

Betboom obviously should win this easily and as for Azure ray, I normally would go for GG but the odds was only 1.5 so there is really no reason to bet on GG. Besides that, Azure Ray won 2-0 against GG on group stage so there is a slight chances that they might do it once more although Im pretty sure that GG on play offs is a completely different team compared to the group stage

This weekend the BLAST Premier World FInals 2023 are happening with some nice matches coming up. NaVi played a good tournament so far and managed to reach the semi finals facing Vitality. I am hoping their initial struggle to get used to CS2 is over and we will see more high performing NaVi like in the good old days. They managed to beat G2 and ENCE to reach the semi finals, but lost their first game against Vitality 2-0, which NaVi is the clear underdog today. Vitality with ZywOo seems like the stronger team and I will put my money on them to reach the finals. The other match today is going to be FaZe vs MOUZ, where I will put my money on FaZe. They are clearly the strongest team at the moment in CS2 and I think they will be playing the final tomorrow against Vitality. MOUZ is a strong team as well, but they lost their last 2 matches against FaZe during the CS Asia Championship. So the final tomorrow could be a mirror of the BLAST Premier Fall Finals where Vitality beat FaZe 2-0. Vitality looked really comfortable in that finals and I think they have a good chance to win the tournament this weekend.

Bro @aralmuus, congratulations on your win for the match winner with G2.IG and BetBoom. It's an easy sweep for BetBoom and they're going to be against Team Liquid after a few hours. While the next game, which will happen in the next hour, is Azure Ray and Gaimin Gladiators. Two teams that still have two chances if someone loses and goes to the lower bracket. While G2.IG is going home, they're in the same place(5th-6th) and prize with Team Falcons. They're going to go home with these EPT points and prize money:

  • $57,500
  • 1,680 EPT Points

I am not yet determined with these EPT points but it seems that nothing has changed this is still the same as the DPC points that we've got for the past season. Anyway, still a lot of EPT points for these teams to get because these tier 1 seemingly majors have higher prize pool still.

Dude, I know how it feels when the games are intense and you're seeing some light with these games. I don't want to get onto those type of bets of over or not and I'm just all good for the match winners because it's just hard to get on it. Maybe at the grand finals, it's easier to get with these over bets because typically no one gets to say gg so quick.

Lets try again then

Good luck with those bets. Sometimes with these odds, it's also a deciding factor and AR isn't just a small and weak team because they have the chance to beat GG out of their minds and this is a hungry team to win since they fell short on most tournaments that they've been. If AR will have the same tactics and able to read the moves especially in drafting phase against GG, they already have the upperhand in that case.

As for BetBoom and G2.IG, I don't know their stats on how many wins and losses for each of them have against each other. But anyway, this is a good first match to see who's strategy is way better. Is it going to be Chinese Dotes or CIS dotes?

We've got a rest day today but later on there will be matches again. 2 Teams again are going to be eliminated from the lower bracket and let's see on who advances.
Yes, it was a day off. But today the battle continued again. I liked 2 long games from Tundra and BB. gpk and Nightfall played 2 maps very well, they need to continue also to have a chance to rise high.
BB swept Tundra and yes, these games were long games.

I don't know what's with their organization based on your comment about them but I can only speak for their dota 2 team. If there are other esports that they're also part of, I have no idea how this goes with them. But speaking with the actual team, they're one of the most consistent teams out there and always placing good endings for most of the tournaments that we're seeing them part of. Even in the last TI, they still ended up with good placing, a 5th-6th ending is a good one.

About the match of Team Falcons and Team Liquid. I thought that it's going to be a sweep for Team Falcons because they've won the first game that made Team Liquid look like kids playing dota 2. But, with consistency on their pickings on 2nd and 3rd map, they've managed to win and take back the games and now moving to the next bracket against the winner of BetBoom or G2.IG. Who's going to be your pick on G2.IG and BetBoom? While at the top bracket, we've got GG and Azure Ray. So, we still have two chinese teams, two EU teams and one CIS team.
