The fallen BetBoom will be up against Team Liquid and Team Falcons are now waiting at that grand finals. Obviously, the advantage is on Team Falcons, they won't be pressured at all. While whoever wins at the last match for the lower bracket gets pressured as after a best of 3 series on that bracket goes to the grand finals for a best of 5 series.

Top 3 without GG and Team Spirit, thats pretty rare

I honestly didnt thought that Team Falcons would be this good. I mean yeah they are cruising in MENA region but against the other top teams, I didnt expect that they would be this good and make it to the final

Anyway, I literally dont know what to bet on the lower bracket game because the odds sucks so bad

I personally think that Team Liquid would win but it could be over 2.5 maps but yeah the odds for both under and over are below 2x. I kinda think it would 1-2 for Team Liquid so taking a handicap wont be an option for this game

Dota2: Team Falcons after a minor hiccup in game 1, manage to reverse sweep BetBoom and now Team Liquid vs Azure Ray going on with Team Liquid taking map 1. Fy looked great on wind ranger but it wasn't enough. Could turned around based on draft. Remains to be seen.
Sadly, BetBoom Team look like kids during the 2nd and 3rd game. I thought that they're going to make it easy but no. I was wrong at all and Team Falcons studied well on how they play and pick. I think that the catalyst was with their drafts, they've been outdrafted by Team Falcons and on the game 2, I can say that they lack of major disables. They can't even kill quickly that lion every clash.

On the lower bracket, it's Team Liquid that have won against Azure Ray for 2 straight games. I thought that we're going to see a chinese team at the grand finals but, three teams are remaining. That's exhausting honestly. And whichever team wins this then it's going to be a sweet $400k for the grand champion. $200k for the 2nd placer and $100k for the third. So, these are the prizes of these three remaining teams secured.

Is anyone out there following the CAPCOM CUP X [1]? Tomorrow the biggest Street Fighter 6 tournament begins with a prize pool of 1 million dollars for the winner.

The groups have already been drawn and the EVO 2023 champion Angrybird was in the same group as the runner-up MENARD.

This tournament will be incredible, if there are people interested we could create a topic to discuss

Interesting. Didn't know there's still some interest in Street Fighter and 1 mil is no small amount. are they broadcasting it on twitch? Might have a look.

How many times Team Liquid was able to beat Gaimin Gladiators? I think this is just less than 5 matches, right? Team Liquid able to beat Gaimin Gladiators on a best of 3 games. What a satisfying ending for both teams. Windrunner as hero of micke for position 1. And I've seen 33 able to shake hands after the end of the game and obviously because they've won.

It's been a while since I've seen a pos 1 WR in the pro scene, and it's the same guys doing it. It was a nice refresher to games that utilize the same carries (Medusa, Spec, TB) in these games. Well, WR scales well if given the space and farm, and can easily take down buildings and has an extremely fast physical damage output that can overwhelm even a 6-slotted Spectre. Micke plays these heroes quite flexibly and tbh he's one of the players whom I really enjoy watching due to him easily adjusting to their meta.
Please don't tell that SirAction Slacks xD. WR mid has been more successful than carry but it can work, given the right circumstances. They did dominate the lane to give themselves a good chance to win the game. It'll be really hard for wind carry to comeback from a losing position. Also, they did have Alc support, who'd be feeding aghs if necessary. Gamin have beaten team Liquid where it matters like TI and Dota Pro Major circuit finals.

Yeah, when I was looking at the pick during the draft phase I thought that it was going to be alche for micke but no. It was an offlane alche for 33.

Micke has just given another built that's good for wr. He eventually sold his maelstrom and built for critical which was literally made sven like a spinach when she focus fires on him.

Micke plays these heroes quite flexibly and tbh he's one of the players whom I really enjoy watching due to him easily adjusting to their meta.
I agree. He's lowkey and probably can be said as one of the underrated carries out there but he's always consistent. Although I've seen him as likely the lackluster of a match but it wasn't like really he was the downturn of that game long time before. I was just happy that GG was finally beaten by them in a do or die match in the lower brackets of this BetBoom Dacha tournament. Oh, I get it, there's a buff for Team BetBoom because it is their sponsor and team's tournament.  Cheesy Cheesy

On the other hand, it was a sweet sweep made by Azure Ray against the two time TI champs, Team Spirit. Yes, you have heard that correct. Azure Ray eliminated Team Spirit with a 2-0 clean victory and moving on the next bracket for lowers, it is going to be Azure Ray versus Team Liquid. While on the upper bracket, Teaml Falcons against BetBoom.

I'm moving forward with BetBoom on this one with how spectacular games they've shown and how disciplined they are. With a few mistakes from the enemies, they're able to make a huge come back with that last match they've made.

Dota2: Even though Gamin Gladiators have been dominating the Dota2 tournaments, they have 1 nemesis that they have bad h2h against which is Betboom. They lose to them again today and go into the lower bracket. The other upper bracket matchup going on again with Team Falcon and Azure Ray, which has gone into game 3.
I thought that the game 2 of BetBoom and Gaimin Gladiators was already for GG to make the series go into a 3rd game. But I was wrong and that one single clash in the middle 3rd tower and barracks turned it around. They were surprised by BetBoom's move that they've come from the Dire's top lane going to the middle attacking them on the side, that was actually a good move and they didn't anticipated that and thought that BetBoom will be clashing them directly in the mid lane. I also like the combo of sleep, coil and egg. Well, GG is on the lower bracket and we'll see if they're going to move on against Team Liquid for which they always win against them.

Edit: Falcons got the better of Azure Ray in a onesided game 3.
Truly a onesided game. Very easy for Falcons on that game and I don't know if Malrine was just mistyping the ')))' or he is intentionally doing that. But then on the lower bracket, AR is going to be up against Team Spirit that haven't lost against their co-fellow chinese team LGD gaming. These are the games that we like and they're all like grand finals especially with BetBoom and GG. I want to see more of them tomorrow and we've got only 2 matches for tomorrow in the lower bracket.

This weekend the last 3 matches of the IEM Katowice 2024 tournament with 1m USD prize pool are happening. The first match of the semi finals is going to be MOUZ vs FaZe. So far MOUZ had a good tournament, winning all their matches, but they had much easier opponents than FaZe. Usually I like to bet some money on MOUZ as the underdog, but FaZe is just too strong and should be winning that game easily. The two teams actually played each other during the BLAST Premier World Final in December, where FaZe won 2-0 against MOUZ. I am going with FaZe reaching the grand finals tomorrow. The second match of the day will be Spirit vs Falcons. I was quite surprised to see Falcons beating NaVi 2-0 and ENCE 2-1. After such a strong performance they deserve to play in the semi finals, but Spirit is the better team for me and the should be winning easily today. The final tomorrow will likely be FaZe vs Spirit and I think that Spirit is going to win the tournament, because the two teams already played each other during this tournament and Spirit won 2-0 against FaZe.

So they've secured those upper bracket quarterfinals on which i dont really have doubts with Team spirit specially with Yatoro.

Well actually all teams go to upper bracket. Pretty weird if you ask me but hey this is not really an 'official' tournament from Valve so yeah I cant really complaint about this because Betboom probably aim to have more views this way.

Now they would really be needing to wait on who would they be able to match up on upper bracket. Hope those teams wont be able to get in line with GG.  Cheesy
Well, even on LGD then it wouldnt really be that easy path to take. Really interesting i should say.

I thought it would be a bo1 game against 4 ways but it will be 1v1 4 ways which is abit boring but atleast we got something to watch rather than having to wait for full 2 days without any games

Anyway Quin is the favourites to go through the first game against Nisha so yeah if you would love to take some risk then betting on Nisha might not seems so bad. I personally favour Nisha though

Dota 2: OG needed to win 2-0 against Team Spirit to keep their tournament dream alive and managed to grind out game 1 win in an over 60 min game which they dominated earlier on but it's very tricky to play against Team Spirit. Game 2 starts with OG taking the lead again and if they win, they get into a tiebreaker with BetBoom for the 4th spot. However, the game 2 lead didn't go as planned. No team has beaten Team Spirit 2-0 in a long long time and it didn't happen today either. OG are out of the tournament and from group B: Xtreme, Azure, Spirit and BetBoom go through.

Im not really that underestimating the current roster of OG now but the only roster that i do consider to be the best would always be that former one. Well, time changes and those switch ups are inevitable.

I'm also following IEM Katowice lately and the current look of the bracket is like in the image below:

The source: HLTV

Falcons surprised me a lot honestly. After being beaten by Eternal Fire they had to come a long way. Rebels weren't a challenging competitor. But first beating Complexity and doing the same against even Natus Vincere in lower final were really great work by Falcons.  Smiley  Tomorrow they are facing ENCE, what do you expect from this series?  Huh

Snappi, Magisk and SunPayus are the players I know closely at Falcons by the way. They've quite decent players. For example SunPayus must be one of the numbered really good Spanish CS e-sports players.

So the ex-talon players cant seems to do shit with their pos 2 huh. I thought they would be much better this year

Although there's a potential to get into four tie but I don't think that it will be.

Kinda doubt that this will happen. If OG lose horribly against Betboom, Ar and XG then I kinda doubt that they could do anything against Team Spirit. Og needs to win 2-0 against Team Spirit to make it into a tiebreaker with Betboom and AR so thats not going to happen. Technically speaking, it wont really matter if Team spirit gets the 2nd or 3rd place on Group B but it feels dumb if they actually lose against OG

I'm so happy when I see GG losing games in Dota2 because personally I got tired of watching them winning last year and there are so many other skilled players and great teams who deserve a chance to win trophies as well. .
Wow what a hater, they're a pretty good team though, I feel like your relief of them losing stems from something personal, did you lose something big on betting on their team or against their team? Yes there are many skilled players that deserve the chance but if they are skilled enough then they would be able to dominate the league or get past GG if you feel like they're the gatekeepers and in the same vein, they're quite skilled because they dominate albeit they just came second last TI. If you got tired of watching them then why not look at other matches, I'm sure that there are other matches going on besides them at the same time right?

This HLTV link mentioned that his sudden break was about documents and wanting to move to another role.

I guess the transition of sniping from CSGO to CS2 isn't as easy because i've heard that the other pros also mentioned that they're still having a hard time adjusting.

Thank you for sharing the news about him. It is even talking about s1mple to switch his role. It is quite interesting to hear about because I have known him as an AWPer for many years. I mean that I have been watching his live streams as well and I know how good he is at using auto rifles too. But switching to a completely different role still needs hard work to adapt fully.

CS2 is indeed hard to get completely used to it as it has some significant differences than CS:GO. I assume some bugs are also still seen sometimes. A new CS game always requires a long time to be near perfect.  Smiley

When it comes to NaVi I see s1mple being benched. Do you know what the reason is for his decision? They still look decent even without him after transferring w0nderful from Sprout to fill s1mple's space. I can't say they have the youngest lineup maybe but the experience level looks really solid.  Smiley

  • nouns
  • OG

I agree those two should most likely be eliminated when they're up against the two best teams in their group and possibly throughout the tournament.

If they really are that dominant then it's understandable that they will be unbeatable for quite some time. Their meta and strategies are working pretty well, hence the dominance against other teams who are equally strong. GG's dominance is attributed to their weird plays and lineups, hence why other teams can't figure them out most of the time.
