Hey do you guys remember when Betcoin lied about being sold in order to steal the 43BTC BBJ, and then lied about paying it out once they reviewed the hand histories, and then stalled everyone out for a month, and then said they were going to reopen their poker room once their time ran out to stall people for another week?

You know, it's the same company that allowed their top affiliate (who they paid way more than every other affiliate in order to force people to sign up under him) to steal from his players and then allow him to cash the money out and never pay anyone.

You know, it's the same company that ran tons of satellites to Betcoin-only tournaments and then cancelled the tournaments and didn't refund the players the value of the tickets they accumulated or give them any other tournaments to use them in.

You know, it's the same company that overraked every cash game pot for 6 weeks and then "reviewed the hand histories" (sound familiar?) and then refused to pay anyone back for the money they overraked.

Do you think they are still working with Limestone Networks?  Because it seems like that would be a federal crime.

I'm reading different statements. one are saying that betcoin.ag poker is sold to somebody, other are saying that the poker is closing.

What is the real deal here? You both are must be more informed than other random users.

All you have to do is read.  They lied about selling to someone in order to justify closing their poker room and stealing all of the money.

I don't understand how Betcoin can still be oppenned after all this time!

It's been... Three years? Two? I don't know seems ages to me. But I don't understand people who still play there. Sure they are great at marketing and avoiding any kind of direct conflict and all... But there have been enough proofs of their willing cheats. They scam when you hit the big jackpot and the poker rooms have been extremely suspicious for a long time.
Anyway, at this point I'd say that if you get scammed by betcoin, you kinda earned it. It was not cool for the first ones but now we all know how to handle that, just don't go there. And I'd bet that's why they're closing, reputation is too heavy to lift, better start again with a brand new name :/

All those who use the service of the publicly proven betcoin.ag scam deserve to get defrauded.

I can only shake my head if someone drives with 120 into a street curve and thereafter complains that he had an accident! I mean if you play at a scammy site you will get scammed!

Also, 42 BTC jackpot is nothing compared to the Betcoin.ag extort 500 Bitcoins Jackpot winner for “settlement”

They went ahead and stole all of the money.  Confirmed it multiple places.  Looks like they've pissed off a LOT of poker players who are going to be attempting to go after them via the legal system.  I doubt the flimsy "We sold to a mystery company" lie is going to hold up.  Hope nobody affiliated with Betcoin is currently living in the US or they are facing some serious federal time.

Are you talking about the BBJ people were complaining about or did they steal funds on the site too? And if you mean the BBJ, that definitely belongs to the players, though not sure how they can make things right anymore since it went on for so long I think.

Yes, they have stolen the player-funded BBJ, in addition to the bonus' in everyone's account.  They have admitted to this.

It would be foolish to think that any other money on the site is safe.

They can make things right by paying out the BBJ to the players on the site in some way.  Tons of B&M poker rooms do this every year when they are changing promos.

The money is gone folks.  Saddens me to say it but was only a matter of time before these thieves went MIA.

It appears Betcoin is pretending to be 'acquired' by someone - and will likely be blaming any stolen money or other player issues on the 'previous owners'.

Truly disgusting.

Sadly, that was VERY obvious when they made their announcement.  The fact that they aren't even trying to hide what's going on by posting under the SAME SCREEN NAME is hilarious.  Honestly, they have the utmost contempt for their user base.  I'm still waiting for any loyal Betcoin Soldier to explain how they can rectify Betcoin's actions.

Remember, they are stealing $600,000 of player funds right in front of your eyes.  And they aren't even trying to hide it.

Very true, and I cannot say that I'm truly surprised by any of this.  We shall see how this develops in the next couple of days before closing, but I do not see them paying any of this out... I would be astounded if they did.  Hoping they do and we all have a Merry Christmas!

Got an alert that a couple of my messages were deleted today.

Odd that Betcoin would have the time to delete posts but not answer player's questions about how they are operating.

Here's the messages that were deleted.  I'd like to ask Betcoin bagholders to honestly rectify their actions.  Why do you think it's ok for Betcoin to be deleting questions about how they will be handling the BBJ when they are closing in just over ONE DAY!

'Surprised' ?
Well, no, that's really not fair.

Your recent attitude is really pretty surprising - in my opinion.

As I've previously mentioned, I would never  call out a fun player like yourself, without good reason.

I understand it's kind of embarrassing.  I really believe though, from the bottom of my heart, that you deserve very little respect myself and others in the crypto community.

It's been real, it's been nice, but I gotta go if all they'll be providing are the negative EV games.

Take it on the chin, champ.

It's ok to lose.

Most people lose.

Before rake you got winners and the losers.

After rake, there;s always going to be fewer winners than losers.

Aint no sham brah.

Why haven't they announced that they're closing the poker room in the BitcoinTalk thread?  Maybe it's just a hoax? ---> Fake News?  I sure hope it's fake because poker is the only reason I play at betcoin.  It's been real, it's been nice, but I gotta go if all they'll be providing are the negative EV games.

Have you really fooled yourself into believing that you're a winning poker player?

Truth hurts man, I'm sorry.  But - it will also set you free <3

Then again, you still have about a week left to get back that $8k....

Really?  You got caught cheating the other players on the site by multi-accounting and you think that you deserve some respect?  You are just a butt hurt punk who got banned from the site for violating the terms and conditions ---> who is, by popular consensus,  probably on several psychotropic medications. Anyway, I've given you enough attention ---> continue on talking to your sock puppets, stupid.  LOL  Oh, I hope they tell you "Merry Christmas" this year! You might want to remind them.

Does that amaze you?  More money than you've seen in a lifetime, huh?  LOL  Have you fooled yourself into thinking you're not bitch?  And, you've been cheating poker sites for years now multi-accounting and still can't believe people spend real money, right?  LOL  I spend more than that on bird food!  You're a broke as punk if that amazes you!

I will not get involved in the conversation here but have a question that you may know. Doesn't that only show the tournaments that were played, and so they could be up on cash? Is there a site you know of that also tracks the cash side?

Betcoin isn't connected to ACR cash games.  I don't think there's anyone tracking ACR cash games.

Betcoin does have their own cash games, which I am confident are not tracked  by anyone.

As far as cjmoles stats, there are a few caveats - first, they only include tournaments - and the Betcoin only tournaments are not included (many of which have decent overlay, so there's a good chance he was a winner in these )  Also, satellites are not covered and rebuy/add-on/re-entry are not covered.  So if you spend $100 to win a $530 seat, then don't cash in the $530 mtt, I think it would show as a $530 loss.

Finally, I would (almost) never ever flame a losing player simply because they are a losing poker player.

Lots of people I love (my father, uncles, cousins, friends etc) are losing players.  I would never flame them simply because they lose money at poker.

cjmoles is a special kind of scum.  He has shilled for Betcoin for (literally) years.  He has blatantly told lie after lie, wasted countless hours of myself and others with nonsense simply to either spite his 'detractors' or to protect Betcoin (not sure why?).

So yeah.

I get where you're coming from. I was mostly asking because there are a couple of high rollers on ACR I was looking into in the past, like one was up $70 thousand over a 5 hour session I watched, but none of them ever play tournaments so was hoping there was some tracker for that stuff. Hard to tell if they luck out and win a lot once or twice or if they are consistent.
