From my perception holding ETH is best option for you because it has highly potential chance to improve its value.

Maybe but another question how much they can grow from now on.
Example: If ETH grow 2x, 3x those mean so big. But if Wavves grow that much, wouldn't affect as much as that.

Ethereum and Waves those are the best coin. Those coins are so potent. If you hold 3 ETH so you can earn much. But if you can buy Waves with those ETH so can earn a huge profit. That you can't imagine now. That's why I suggest to buy Waves and hold them for a long time.

the same. basically expecting both to rise. but I am more likely to believe the eth will be pumped this year beyond the increase in waves. this is what I think, even I can trade it with other altcoin. one of the methods to make a profit.

some ico use waves platform but i think this year also Ethereum year. we look next year for choosing one of them
ICOs will likely start using the Waves platform more frequently once the smart contracts roll out and a the first big gainers appear. There'll probably be more going on around Waves than Ethereum simple due to their respective stage of development.

It's personal preference obviously, but I would say definitely ETH. There are big plans for 2018 and ETH should do really well. Have a look at the roadmap.

Both are doing a same thing, if me i will hold 50% Ethereum and 50% Waves.
Undoubtedly HODL ETH! Ethereum has a bright future because of many ICO. I began participate in bounty in October when ETH was ~300$ and now it`s ~1000+. If I sell tokens I hold ETH.
I would prefer Waves over Ethereum. ETH looks quite a bit inflated to me, and the promoters are dumping their coins every now and then. On top of that, a lot of tokens are now being created based on Waves and the popularity of ETH for the same purpose is on the decline.
ETH is well structured and popular, which makes it a better choice. But Waves is coming with careful steps as an alternative to token management.

It depends on you, but if I would have that amount of ethereum I will just hold it for a year because ethereum is much more in demand and at the top of crypto markets.
If you talk in terms of investment I guess waves, because it's a new and still developing platform. Just need some strong coins that are using Waves platform.
