I think there's no reason to compare them in the first place. Maybe I'm bit biased here because I used eth platform and not the EOS. Never had the chance to deal with EOS up until now.

Eth platform has very transparent dev team and you can always follow their progress. Vitalik is the frontrunner of eth while I don't know about EOS.  Tongue

I also think about what you think. I also conduct transactions every day through the eth platform. I never want to use eos. Until now, I was never interested in using eos. Because Eth is a place for me to make transactions easily.

I am just wondering, why is it a lot of coins are being compared to eth? The last time I read was, they are comparing ripple over eth. And now, they are comparing eos. I am not really familiar with eos, so I never had a chance to transact with that. I only had transactions with eth and not with eos. I'll do some research about eos since it's quite interesting to invest.

EOS is a coin that has good quality and now many ICOs use the EOS platform. But this has not been able to match the achievement of Ethereum. And it's still very far if EOS replaces Ethereum in second place.

Have you looked into Moac? It's the best of both worlds in terms of functionality. Also depends what you are looking to do.

Eth all the way man i mean just look at the number of er-20 compared to EOS tokens and you will realise that ETH no matter what is still the king when it comes to smart contract

I think we can use both, because EOS and Ethereum are also good platforms, because both are also formidable competitors in the future, although now the price of ethereum is still not good, but I will continue to believe in the future of ethereum.

It can be a possible problem for Ethereum.
ICO projects can going to sell more than 3 million ETH in the next few years to finance the business. There is a need to be a higher demand for ETH in order to preserve price.
I find some analyst in the local paper and makes sense.

Why would you compare ethereum with EOS in the first place... you should be comparing ethereum with xrp instead just like other shitcoins .. EOS is yet to prove itself
They love to, that's the main reason why they have been doing that. And everyone must stop this kind of comparisons because it is just dividing the community between the A coin and B coin. With this comparison, people will always support the coin that they held and they don't want to hear or read such negative comments about it.
Why? they are holding it and negative means negativity to their investments.

Hello guys. On the previous week Vitaly founder of ethereum announced ethereum 2.0 with faster transactions and so on. Do you think our old friend ethereum can defeat a very promising EOS? Or EOS is soon going to be crypto number 2 instead of ethereum?
In terms of faster transaction, ethereum has the fastest transaction rate. I don't know much about EOS, but comparing the transaction rate of bitcoin which is the number one crypto coin, Ethereum has the faster rate.  Also comparing the market cap and volume  of both Ethereum and EOS, Ethereum is winning over EOS.

if I think the winner is ETH, because EOS ranking is far below ETH and to beat ETH, EOS must beat Ripple first and for now I think EOS is still difficult to beat Ripple, so to beat ETH is also very difficult for now, therefore I think ETH still wins against EOS.

Well it depends what you want to sacrifice decentralization or transaction speed because one the other is explicitly better at one not both but I know Moac is a platform that makes sure it it optimized on both fronts. There might be others that are in the works but haven't launched yet too.

Ethereum has a big number of popularity, therefore it's trading volume, its features, platforms everything are bigger than EOS. EOS is a promising coin and its technology is so high. But I think EOS will not overcome ETH's position. I would love to see EOS takes Ripple's place. That will be enough for EOS.

I don't think that ethereum will be able to surprise us with something. I think his time already has passed. I studied EOS technology and I like the fact that the team follows the plan and realizes that promised.
I think your opinion is wrong because ethereum is still in great demand for the development of ico now and in the future, this shows that the popularity of ETH is greater than EOS, as well as the use of these two platforms that have very far differences, and in my opinion ETH is still a favorite

Although the electability of ETH is reduced due to many scams projects using ETH platform. But, ETH is a reliable platform and has high scalability. this makes EOS will difficult to replace ETH.

It is too early to draw conclusions. In general, I think that in the future the Cardano blockchain will seriously compete with ethereum and EOS projects. I think that many blockchains have enough space in the world.
Okay, okay ...But they must to finish the development firstly  Grin As I see this is hard for their team. ETH is #1. Can you find something like makerdao or unicornswap somewhere else?
The IOHK team is perfectly developing its platform. They move according to their roadmap. Last year smart contracts were launched in testnet. Blockchain Cardano has been running since the fall of 2017. In the coming months there will be a global update of the platform.

ethereum is definitely the winner. Even though ethereum is still difficult to return to its ideal price, we cannot forget the potential that ethereum has. EOS may be good but their platform is still less popular than ethereum. so it takes longer for eos to defeat ethereum.

How come neither has crosschain interoperabilities or ipfs capabilities? Moac happens to have these along with the option for developers to choose which consensus they want for the dapp. Pretty impressive if you ask me.

I actually noticed that Ethereum scalability is higher now and also there are other added freebies like the automatic gas limit for any transaction. I believe the Ether team are really working hard to maintain their position as noted by recent overtaken of XRP. I affirm that Ethereum will still lead behind Bitcoin despite the efforts of EOS.
