EtherDelta is not safe at all. I traded in EtherDelta and lost my private key. I lost 115eth. The hacker who stole my eth was a hacker who frequently stole other people's crypto from EtherDelta.

It is safe but aftter last month hacking they work on it to fixed the problems, so please wait. I think Etherdelta is one of best decentralized exchanges and it's necessary for crypto trading

I still use EtherDelta service on a much more limited scale. Part of the funds I process with Metamask and MyCrypto. Today there are a lot of opportunities to avoid EtherDelta if you don’t believe it.

What new interface? It's the same old same old!
They hardly improved anything, it's pretty much the same shit with better performance and no so much lag.

It's simple, you install the MetaMask extension in your browser of choice, be it Chrome or Firefox. Then you can create an address in MetaMask that you can use or you can import an existing one. Once you've created an address, websites can ask MetaMask to sign transactions.
It's a bit safer than using EtherDelta's built in wallet system because if the DNS was hacked and redirected to another site, it would have to request you to sign the transaction using MetaMask and you'd be able to see if it was doing something different to what the malicious EtherDelta said it was doing. I.e depositing all of your Ether into another wallet which is not the action you were taking on the website.
With that said, there are some risks with using MetaMask as well. So make sure you don't put that much money into your MetaMask address.

etherdelta is as safe or uncertain as other exchanges. I'm now re-using etherdelta without any problems but only because I use for tokens that has little value a separate wallet. Many users also make mistakes themselves and have a mew there with many eth. this is not good

The only thing that we have loss our account or being hack by someone is due to our own negligence. A lot of pishing sites and wrong link that we have mistaken to click, it gives them chances to collect our information in just a single mistake we've made. That's why we should be careful and we should think deeper before we have to make transactions.

This could be true. I used folkdelta the other day, loaded it on the same browser i had loaded Etherdelta and i didn't even have to re enter my private key so as to load my account. The user interface also seems to have a similarity thou there seems to be low trade volumes so far

ERC20 tokens are being traded mostly in etherdelta the hack incident is a huge impact to the users,and i dont find any alternative exchange for the tokens,what will happen to our ICO tokens?doomed.
Decentralized exchanges are not ready to manage all those altcoins even if they could in theory do it most decentralized exchanges are lacking in some way or another and we are still looking for the first decentralized exchange to reach mass adoption and that is only going to happen if they offer the same functionality as centralized exchanges.

Most tokens are traded in etherdelta. However, there are also many alternatives in which erc20 compatible address of the exchanges and trading sites. Livecoin.net, kucoin and many others are compatible with erc2o tokens. Just try to explore other trading or exchange sites.
However, I usually prefer the normal exchanges for easy trading and transaction than the decentralized exchanges.
