I don't think so, because something like this happened last year. The price of all altcoins falls, up to 80%. However, indirectly there is still a minimum limit for the lowest price of ethereum. Despite seeing the situation getting worse and worse, I am sure that there will be a time when ethereum will reach its highest price again.
I dont understand how the massive sell out of cryptocurrency in the bear market is interpreted differently. Does it not look like manipulation? Most of the long term owners are intelligent and not poor to sell at cheaper order when fellow rich friends are hodling. If that is the case then manipulation still continues in the next months.

Ethereum prices are rising when i am selling ethereum. Last week's price was really low and it was a great time to invest. but I couldn't invest because there was no budget I could invest in. I can sell the coins in my hand and cause the prices to rise for you

I think the lowest price of ethereum was last week, which is the price of $80++ and now it is above $100++ I think it's a strong price to go back up just waiting for the bitcoin sideway
im waiting for eth to hit 40$ so i can buy more and wait for it to come back from this dip, i know eth is not dead and will show improvements as years solidifies its foundations more!
It is not only visible, it is also not practicable to see ether dump any further. The expectations is to see recovery of ether price and we could begin to see bull rally that will take ether price beyond it's all time high.
Those who tried to control the market after all has some sympathy that maybe if they actually let ETH pinned down to $40, those investors would sulking in tears and they don't want to see them as if they didn't just lose money but also dignity and so they have to at least pump a bit this time. I guess ETH this time isn't going to do this dip. Thanks to those who prayed harder.

I hope ETH price is really based on the price of Bitcoin, I think the price of ETH will not go down to 40$ as you can see already the price of ETH increased a lot in the market with the increased price of Bitcoin. ETH will not go below 40$ and it is impossible to go down that much low.
We have seen the market and have a better value, this will make investors more confident in the actual eth condition. Leave negative prejudices for your good, and think positively for increasing eth so that you can recover and be enjoyed together.
Yeah, in fact the increase on ETH is very high compare to other coins and this is a good news for those hodlers of ETH. I think $40 is too much for ETH and it will not hit that price this year since we only have few more days to end 2018. The market will recover and no more big dump in 2019, we will rise again. Believe in this market, and ETH will take the top 2 spot again soon, always be positive. 😊 I think it don't be in 1-2 weeks but in 2019 if bitcoin drops under 3k dollar maybe around 2000, we can see 35-40 dollar for ethereum but this is worst scenario I guess, this is low probability for me.
Really depends how Bitcoin will be, it might be possible that certain things will happen if the value of Bitcoin drops to that level and if there's no new support or investors to believe with such project, we are going to depends from the market valuations after some months but in two weeks time still a big questions to happen. 
Will be $40 in two weeks, I don't think that will happen. Today Eth has make great increase and now the price around $130 and i hope market always be green.

Cryptocurrency whales have been selling their ether stash since the beginning of the year and this kind of action in the market has not completely wipe out the ether cap. I believe cryptocurrency market has capacity to absorb any whale selling at this point!
I think that ETH definitely will not cost $ 40. too low price for such a strong coin. most likely below $ 80 it will not fall
