I recommend investing in both bitcoin and Ethereum. Do not get hung up on one cryptocurrency. You have to split your amount into many small investments to reduce your risks.
I am in two minds regarding Ethereum right now. It has not fallen as much as the other alts and even now the exchange rate versus Bitcoin is above BTC0.03 per coin. So I would rather rate it as over-priced.
hold ethereum for now, its not a good price to sell now
I prefer to hold ethereum rather than bitcoin. Although bitcoin still dominates to be the king of crypto currencies but I see ethereum having a more potential future. I say so because I am guided by the benefits ethereum brings. Many parties have felt the benefits of ethereum in a real way so that ethereum undoubtedly brings benefits to all parties. I am sure in the future there will be many more parties using ethereum because of the advantages offered by ethereum. I'm sure that when people become more aware of the benefits of ethereum, people will increasingly leave bitcoin. This is where the ethereum glory point will be achieved. Therefore, ethereum is a good investment choice rather than bitcoin.
I think even Ethereum is having a not good price right now it is still worth it to hold because this coin is listed to those have potential coin and one of crypto that most valuable. Also I know eventually Ethereum can recover and rise again like what happen always, just keep believing to it and keep holding this crypto because in the end ETH can give you a good profit. 
Instead of panic about the ETH price, it is better to hold them in the market because ETH has very huge potential which will increase its price suddenly in the market. I hope it is a very good option to hold them as long as the price of ETH will start increasing in the market.

Save the ethereum that you have now, it's better to hold back from selling it because the time is not right to be patient to wait for the market to rise again then you can sell it and certainly will get maximum results
This is a good strategy, ethereum is a coin that has everything to skyrocket in the future, the number of projects and ethereum-based tokens is certainly strong evidence that ethereum's future will be bright.
Ethereum will be increasingly popular and advanced, many people believe even though the market conditions are not good and Ethereum drops dramatically but many believe Ethereum will rise again and grow better. in the future Ethereum will reverse the position and soar that you hold your coins for the future or multiply coins for the future because that will benefit you.
I recommend to be courageous and take the risk before I recommend to invest in ethereum and bitcoin. Without courage you can't invest in any kind of investment in crypto.
because both coins are also experiencing a decline in prices which is very drastic to make both coins become cheap and an opportunity for traders or investors to buy it, but it might also be risky because we cannot determine or predict the rise and fall in the price of the coin , the current market situation is still unstable and uncertain.

in my opinion it's better to invest and hold on Ethereum than Bitcoin, because :
1. now, most investors use Ethereum to invest in ICO rather than using Bitcoin
2. many people prefer to buy coins using Ethereum compared to Bitcoin in crypto market
3. Ethereum is now the king of ICO because many ICO use Ethereum platform
4. for now increase in the price of Bitcoin is higher than Ethereum, so the opportunity for Ethereum can increase more than Bitcoin in the future can occur
so that from all the advantages in Ethereum I believe Ethereum is more profitable than Bitcoin.
depending, but i always keep in mind that i need to make more bitcoin that is why im trading alts and buying on ico to multiply that and make much more bitcoin before we reach the stage where 1 bitcoin can change your life that was my goal and always will be. on the other hand ( Ethereum ) its a good HODL theres a lot of news going around more this past month ( Devcon ) all of them are positive

For me I will go for ETH. ETH is next to bitcoin and is very affordable compare to the price of bitcoins. ETH also has many features and very active in the market. I want to invest ETH and hold rather than to buy for bitcoins which has already high price. Bitcoin is still good investments but I would prefer to invest in ETH.
Patience is really a virtue and i believe that As an ethereum holders we can now really see that selling ethereum on this dip is really a great loss. Price of ethereum almost drop 85% of its price last year. So I think it is better to hold ethereum now than investing on an ICO selling, or maybe converting it on fiat is a loss.

Eth price we're too low now so the only thing we need to do is to HOLD but in terms of its uses and services its a good crypto that we can still have even the price is in dump for its good transaction services. Yes I agree with that it seems like Ethereum 2.0 will support massive on-chain transaction throughput, with this things ethereum has the potential to skyrocketing on it price IMO. And dont forget that ethereum platform are still the larger smart contract platform that used by most blockchain project, so with those things it is just much more easier for ethereum to be A platform for new economic systems.

The best solution will be to split your funds between Bitcoin and Ethereum. Because both are good for investment now, the price is like in Nov of the last year and each has a chance to grow.
Bitcoin is the first crypto, let's say in people's mentality it is like an analogue of gold for fiat money. So it will remain as a measure unit for all altcoins for a long while.
ETH is still as the biggest platform for tokens, ICO, smart contracts, etc. and actually there is no any other equal which could replace it.
I think that all we see on markets are just games of whales. It's still bearish market just because of some whales have not bought yet a cheap BTC (or ETH). So now our (smaller holders) task is to collect so many BTC and ETH as we can, and hold. I think the price will grow, at least to the ATH of last year.

Yes, of course this would be good if holding ethereum now, buy ethereum because until now the price is still low, buying and investing your ethereum and going forward will definitely benefit
