There are no serious reasons for claiming that the etherium has a future in the crypto currency, and Bitcoin is not, I do not see. And in general it is very foolish to say this about the current and unconditional leader of the Crypto-currency.
Bitcoin is as strong as it is has been for a very long time and no coin is even close to surpassing it, so I think people need to stop focusing in what it is going to be the next bitcoin, there is only one bitcoin and it is never going to replaced by any other coin.

It might happen. However, in terms popularity and acceptance global community, it remains btc still good than eth. After all, newcomers are trying to invest heavily in btc rather than alt.

ethereum is one of the most popular altcoins on the world, it also has potential to develope and rise more in the future. but i dont think eth can replace bitcoin position in the future for a very long time, bitcoin still the most popular on the world and be used by everyone on the markets. so eth can be the bestcoin in the future but it may take a very longtime.
I agree, ethereum may take the place and lead but only in the 2nd to the bitcoins Ethereum is not the very major currency. Perhaps Ethereum can't go with the bitcoin if we observe what happens when bitcoins price is mooning almost all alts is down so its clearly that no alt can affect bitcoin but bitcoin can affect all alts.

According to last market behaviour BTC is very strong now. I suppose it will grow up to $25k in 2018 pretty easy. So bitcoin won't disappear or be dumped in future.
About eth. I'm waiting huge pump soon. I believe that it's very undervaluated now.

Bitcoin is still the best of course. But it's not impossible for eth to surpass bitcoin.

That post is way back 2015.. Am sure the writer now understand Bitcoin is the leader and Ethereum too will surely be a BOOM.

That is right. The ETH price has stablized in the last few days. It could rise soon.

I've got a letter regarding the Ethereum hardfork. It says that everyone needs to withdraw all ETH from exchanged to personal wallets. Can I trust this information? Anyone else received such mail?
Double check any e-mails before clicking on the links found inside. During hardfork it's better to keep your ETH in a wallet but I think it won't affect much as this is not a chain split like Bitcoincash. But better to keep them safe.
If they ask anything like withdraw to a certain address or 'login to you wallet here' then trust that email.

ETH will allow $2T of underground economy to become more structured (and possibly less underground) through DAOs.
http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/wonkblog/wp/2013/04/23/americas-2-trillion-shadow-economy-is-the-recessions-big-winner/

If it captures 1% of that $2T, it is equivalent to $20B, which would put ETH somewhere around $150. Those who sell for $2 will shit bricks, eat sand and may even commit suicide in the years to come. If it captures 10% of that ETH will be $1500. I know it sounds crazy, but so did the Internet in 1995.

Once it's launched their main focus will be on scalability, which I think is the real reason crypto is not ready for mainstream. Once they can handle 100K TPS (and I'm sure they will), it's game over.
I dont totally agree with you. ethereum has alot potential but I don't think it's enough to surpass Bitcoin.

Ether exchange rates have fallen from the peak of BTC0.145 to less than BTC0.060 as of now. And early signs are that it is on a downward trend. The Ether basics don't support such an inflated market cap (which stands at more than $30 billion right now). A crash can occur at anytime, dooming those who have made heavy investments in ETH.

Ethereum has big advertising  Let's see what happens with this new coin / platform. From what I've read it's not even near to a competition to Bitcoin.

Ethereum is really developing this year and from the $ 20 price is now $ 350. I think ethereum has been greatly improved in terms of technology especially for smart contracts in ICO projects. Bitcoin is well developed and is always considered a good long-term investment since Bitcoin's price from $ 900 is now $ 5800 in just one year and this is great for all these two markets.

Maybe YES, Maybe NO ! Because the future of every altcoins as cryptocurrencies are based on their users. The price of coins rises also based on the users. As long as there are lot of users, the price rises.

I don not think this is true. I think that actualy the brighter future is in Bitcoin hands. Ethereum will also rise it is the second pick for me but you still cannot compare it with BTC.
Yes, I also prefer in bitcoin.Etherium is the future of cryptocurrency?  I think it's just a rumor or rather always a rumor because bitcoin was created if I'm not mistaken in the year 2009 and tested many years.Etherium was just started at the year of 2014,etherium is doing good right now. But  I can't still say that etherium is better than bitcoin.

Both are considered the future of cryptocurrencies due to the endless possibilities and potentials of their price increasing in the future, but bitcoin will reign over the years due to its exposure and reputation around the world. We need to consider first the factors on why bitcoin became famous especially the number of investors who already are rich due to bitcoin. If you were to ask a question to a stranger regarding the existence of bitcoin or ethereum, most of the time he/she will answer that they heard bitcoin over the news, televisions, or magazines.

I can not wait to see what will happen when Tezos will step into the market in late 2017. I think it could be hard for ETH, because Tezos has a similar business model. They also hold a high amount of ETH which they collected during the ICO. The amount is enough to crash ETH price down, when they cash out into fiat imho.
