I don’t know for you, but I do see Ethereum (ETH) as a cryptocurrency that can be used to hodl. I do invest in ETH just like I do in Bitcoin (BTC) and I also Hodl the both of them. As for which one is better, that I can’t tell, but I would say that the both of them are good, the difference is just that Bitcoin is highly Volatile than ETH, whenever you’re making profit, you make huge profit and whenever you’re making loss, you also make huge loss. ETH is cheaper and less Volatile.

I will go for bitcoin whenever it will come too long-term investment of money as there can be no other coin which can be as good as bitcoin is for the sake of holding it for longer period. you can invest your money into ETH as well but you should only do that when you are having enough of your skillsets in trading and that you think like you will be able to make something profitable there.As long as you can trade, or you are investing long and diversify, you will still be fine in the market irrespective of what you are investing in as long as it is not a shitcoin.

I don’t understand why people are supporting ethereum when they know that it is just like other altcoins, nothing special I personally see in this coin. Though it is ways seen as a threat to bitcoin but it is just another bluff. Bitcoin is far better than this altcoin and I am confirmed that it is never ever going to take the position of bitcoin. Bitcoin is the one which is bets for holding, keep eth for trading. 
ETH will likely stay behind BTC for a couple of years and eventually overtake bitcoin. Ethereum offers several opportunities for businesses to take advantage of while bitcoin will be the currency of the elite.
It is never ever going take throne from bitcoin because it does not have that capacity. Bitcoin is the one which is leading the market for years rather since the creation of virtual currencies. Ethereum leading the altcoins clan is digestible but overpowering bitcoin is mere daydreaming, nothing else. We all should keep in mind that bitcoin is enjoying legalization as well which is not given to most of the altcoins. 
it's useless chatter about what's better, Beatcoin, gold or Ethereum. The number of bitcoins in circulation is limited, which distinguishes it from the Ethereum, the growth of which is unlimited.
A lot of people really do not understand that perspective and that is one reason they will never get it. Investing in Ethereum is good, but if we are looking at the long term here and most especially even with profit, bitcoin still stands a better chance due to its deflationary characteristics as against the inflationary characteristics of Ethereum. Ethereum number can be increased in the long term and bitcoin is limited and that would always make the price of bitcoin to skyrocket easily with a huge demand and get sustained to some good extent. Ethereum lacks to innovate real time applications except providing platform for ICOs. Only one real time usage will not support a project to have huge prices in future.

Both Ethereum and Bitcoin are good but the world quest for the best. Between ETH and Bitcoin, the best is determined by many factors and features. Speaking about Bitcoin, it is the most attractive one due to world wide acceptability and easy and swift transactions. Besides, the technology is new and the marginal productivity is much high. Let them think or direct it to what it is, as long as it doesn't harm the others people, which obviously everyone will not have the same purpose.
And basically I'm still convinced that Ethereum and Bitcoin will still be a side of investment that is so very meaningful in many people, and bitcoin will still be the king of it, which many people are still interested on it to do many things that they want.

Yes that is right both are good for investment, both have the potential to increase in their price very soon, therefore i think investment in bitcoin as well as in Etherium can be profitable. Ethereum is good coin and maybe will take bitcoin place as market cap leader. Many advantages on ethereum because ethereum using smart contract and many platform using ethereum network. Its very good to hold ethereum as long term invesment because as top 5 market cap, its very liquid

The best coin is bitcoin, the first coin with the highest popularity and bitcoin is great for investment, and I can not deny that ethereum is a strong altcoin and will continue to grow, I think having both is the best choice.

whos that many people?lol most of members now are holding ethereum ,all of bitcoin holder is holding ethereum too,you can see that as what the majority of users in altcoin sections,they keep on mentioning ethereum as medium coins after bitcoin so this post has no basis but purely speculation investment objectives of course things are promising. bitcoin goal for many people to invest, but the ethereum himself also has great potential as an investment.
I think ETH does not solve this major problem, the developers should start thinking if their buggy crypto currency will be able to surpass btc.
Obviously I do not want to invest my money and my efforts for something that can be hacked, last year in 2017 there were many incidents reported about hacking ETH and ICO wallets.
