Chain link will have some positive impact over the ethereum price,but I don't believe it will be enough for the price to "boom". The thereum market cap amount by itself isn't a good thing or a bad thing.It is just what it is and nothing more. I don't get how chain link works.It says "monetize your data feeds and existing API by selling them directly to smart contracts".What does that mean?

Just one single good news for the Ethereum network may not be enough to push the price of Eth to the stratosphere. What is clear is that with the recent bull run (or should we say the ongoing bull run?) the price of Eth is going up alongside with the Bitcoin that is when Bitcoin made a correction (this is still ongoing for sure) Bitcoin also shed some dollars in price. So maybe, if Bitcoin can reach $20,000 then there is the probability that Eth can be at around $1,500 as my guess. However, having more users on the platform that can certainly help a lot in the long-term.

Agree with that, we can't expect a huge rise coming from ETH this year. Not only it base of what it showed today but because if ICO performance happen lately, mostly ICO turns into nothing/scam which has a huge effect into ETH since all ERC20 tokens are connected into ethereum ( just correct me if I'm wrong). Though we can see pumps but not just like of last 2017 bull run.

What's happening with ethereum now is certainly a good achievement, ethereum has gone up by more than 200% compared to the position of the beginning of the year, but I'm sure that ethereum prices will continue to rise and can reach at least $750 by the end of the year.

The price of Ethereum would surely rise due to this great news and also with the upcoming updates of Ethereum blockchian scheduled in the first quarter of next year Ethereum would surely boom but not this year. Hopefully we can see the real increase in the price of Ethereum in the early days of next year.

Ethereum was show some impressive gains in the past days. and I think chainlink launch annoucement has nothing to do with Ethereum pump. Ethereum is the second largest cryptocurrency by the terms of market capitalization. Thats why its not surprise me at all, since we are now on Bull mark! thats why Ethereum has gaining momentum right now. Maybe chainlink contributed the gains who knows. but for sure the Bullish sentiment on BTC part also drive the Ethereum price to soar as it is today.

This is a good news actually provided if chain link really will be collaborated with eth. Can I see the source? If this is only rumors and then someone or you trying to shill eth. Or even a hint of possible collaboration. Chain link is a big project and having another arms of eth is surely will increase their markst force since chainlink will be tied up with eth. Im sure when this happened eth can easily break its resistance anpd go all the way to 500$ easily. Also eth havinga lot of partnership like samsung also but we need to wait for the actual implementation of this.

The development is a good thing to happen to ETH but we have seen surge in recent time too base on the fact that BTC is moving nice and that also contribute to the level of high USD price we have in most coin now .

So if ETH go on with its plan by May 30 then it will add up as FA for the coin and boom its price more before we see some retrace.

The market has fall down and now it is making recovering and I think this could be a great news,
And it could really pump the price of ETH when they launch it and I hope that this would make the price grow faster.
But we couldn't know what would happen so we shouldn't really expect too much so we wouldn't be disappointed on the outcome .

I like etheruem because I know it is a nice altcoin and so many investors believe so but so far, I have not seen an etheruem boom where bitcoin is still down. Therefore to this, I believe that the news from Op (although no link) will be as a result of bitcoin bull, if bitcoin does not boom, it can mean we might not see an etheruem boom as such expected.

Nothing, i think it's not that big. With that news in my opinion it will not affect the ethereum price. Maybe only a bit, but for Link price, i think it will increase. With the recent market condition, ethereum will still increase even without chain link announcement, let's see what will happen soon.

I remember when its fork has lunched by ETH but its price didn't move anything even the price carried away by bitcoin price movement and at that time the price bitcoin just falling down until reach $3200. I don't think this speculation will give an effect to the price of ETH but previously its price has increased drastically until 20%, yeah we hope the increased price before will support this information.

Good point, that's why I was quite surprised to see the OP telling us about ethereum price when he should be shilling for ChainLink. The price of Ethereum has broken one of the most important barriers @$200 a pop, it is still a long way to go the previous all time highs though. But still this is an improvement but I don't expect the price to go on 5 digits this year. It will take a while before we can see Ethereum touching a new ATH.

So many projects are launching on the ETH network these days, one of them won't make a huge difference. Eth is looking strong on the wings of the BTC bull run at the moment, regardless of the ChainLink or any other particular coin. And ChainLink promises to make a small revolution in the smart contract world, I'll be monitoring them to see what they will do.
