I'm sure it's too early to talk about this. In early 2018, it is possible with the rapid growth of Ethereum. But now Ethereum needs at least to recover on price. I'm sure this will not happen this year. Ethereum attracted many investors. and used a lot of transactions, there is technology development. Etereum has a bright future

I very much doubt such a forecast. Not the best of times is experiencing for the Ethereum. The competitors began to show more active who certainly take away part of the market from ETH. I think that in the next there will be many chances for Ripple. Ethereum’s developers have to solve too many problems.
It is ridiculous, seriously, why do such predictions, to raise the mood? Btc was and will always be the first, it is clear to everyone, on eth, unless it is possible to earn money, since with another update the cost will increase.
I don't think that this will happen. But definitely not in the near future. Bitcoin is like gold, and ethereum is silver 
There is no way that ethereum is going to overtake bitcoin, the coin might be very good but there is nothing to indicate right now that the coin can overtake bitcoin. Bitcoin still has a higher amount of investors than ethereum and there is still more money going into bitcoin than ethereum so with that it is only normal that ethereum has a lesser value than bitcoin
I think this is possible, but most likely this will not happen if we see the price of ETH 0.2-0.3 BTC it will be a great success for ETH
I doubt that someday Ethereum will be able to bypass bitcoin, bitcoin is still the Creator of the crypto currency and everything is kept on it , and in Ethereum only smart contracts
Ethereum will not overtake bitcoin,because Bitcoin has very solid position. Bitcoin is first crypto and as per market position Ethereum will remain behind the Bitcoin.
I hope that one day it will happen. I am Ethereum fan and I am pretty disappointed that the price is around 200 USD, because this coin deserves to be on the top of the market. Every member of the community is using ETH for internal payments and for ICO contribution.

almost all Altcoin is affected by Bitcoin so it's very difficult for Altcoin to take over Bitcoin including Ethereum coins. even though Ethereum is of good quality but not strong enough to take over Bitcoin. Bitcoin is crypto which will always dominate the market.
In the beginning of this year it seemd to sound very possible, but now I hardly believe that Ethereum will recover in it’s price. It will stay around 200-250$
Everything is thought impossible, but sometimes I think that when it comes time to. There is a shift in this market that will change all that people are thinking is impossible

I don't think so. Even despite the fact that Eth proved to be the second popular coin, it still cannot overcome Btc just because bitcoin has a wider infrastructure and is more trustworthy for investors. This showed to be true especially after the latest crush of Eth from $700 to $200 when the projects started cashing out after the completion of their ICOs.
Etherum may come close to bitcoin in terms of market capitalization but not in price or technology both are of a different direction on technology and mass adaptability

I like Ethereum and I believe in it. But now it's hard times for cryptocurrency and I don’t think it can beat Bitcoin.
I think that this is simply impossible because it is absolutely different projects and for different tasks. Ethereum will not overtake bitcoin in terms of capitalization it will be simply unthinkable at this stage of time.
Bitcoin is way too strong for Etheruem. The support for Bitcoin is able to move the prices on every Altcoin. Ethereum is just a Altcoin.
