Right now, this notion is completely unthinkable, as the price of Ethereum has dropped below $200. On the other hand, the price of bitcoin is around $6000, so the difference is huge. But, i still believe that Ethereum is a very good project and it has a very good potential in future.

My opinion is that Ether will never be valued as high as Bitcoin.People are less familiar with Ethereum. They only know it is Bitcoin’s younger, less valuable brother.Ethereum doesn’t focus on value in currency, it focuses on providing a platform for others. On top of that, it is less well known by the general public.
They are both very different technologies. But answering your question, if this happens it will never be in terms of price. It will be in terms of market cap. I feel ETH can overtake BTC’s market cap by mid 2019. If not overtake it’ll definitely be close to it.

Its really impossible to eth to overtake bitcoin because as they say bitcoin is a god of all the token. We know eth is so progressing day by day and popular already as many investor and company investing it. Does not mean to overcome bitcoin because bitcoin is leading now and to the future.
I totally agree it's almost impossible. Etherum is a system of decentralized applications and smart contracts. It is not able to reach even 100 billion, so to talk about superiority over bitcoin is absolutely not meaningless.

I do not trust because I know the bitcoin has grown to some countries. in other words the bitcoin is better known than the crypto currency so the ETH can not exceed the bitcoin. It is difficult to overcome but can not be exceeded.

I do not believe that ETH can ever become more expensive and more popular than bitcoin. It seems to me that ETH has a narrow application in comparison with bitcoin.
If ethereum does take over bitcoin then that will be a game changer ,we will even see ICO's going to the moon ,both new and old projects
I don't believe that ETH can become number one. It can always be the second cryptocurrency and the best platform for ICOs and tokens, but not the best payment currency and store of value...

No Ethereum is a great coin mate. But Ethereum cannot replace Bitcoin. How it is possible, no way. Bitcoin is really huge. It's really very huge. And Bitcoin is very popular than Ethereum.
It is unlikely it will reach soon. Although the premise is that ETH to the new year 2000$ will reach. Everything will depend on the General state of the market. As soon as the market, and in particular ICO companies begin to move to other platforms: stellar waves, ETH will not survive. Although I still hope for him.
