Ethereum have traded beyond one thousand before and with updates and news about developments and new technology, ethereum will easily pass one thousand dollars mark!
Any possible SEC decition about Bitcoin ETF will bring the bulls and in a few months ETH price will increse to 500-800 and $1000 again the only thing we need is good news anh big hype by the media.
To see ETH on 1000$ again we need bull market which would make BTC 15k at least all we hope for that and wait but noone cant say surely what we are going to see.
It is quite disturbing to see the Etherium to go this down. But, such things can happen in a market as volatile as Crypto market. Etherium is one of the most stable coin in the crypto world and it will regain its former glory again.Ether is constantly being improved and modernized, if the crypto market grows, ETH will become one of the growth leaders and most likely will return to its highs.
Oh my god after the fall down of etherum from 1400 $ to 200 $ what do u think of the soon futur of etherum?! .. my opinion is etherum will get to the top again it's normal when it's so down with every other coin or bitcoin.. can i use patience as a smart solution to get rich with 4 ether now !

Anyway i think there is a long way for crypto currencies, after this hard way everything will be ok and people will understand and use crypto currencies. In the future ethereum will be one of the most valued coins. That's not impossible mate, ethereum's journey has gone very strong since many of the contracts we're connected with it's platform. Nowadays many token project has more affiliation with eth contract that always trusted this crypto, and I think $1000 can be a bigger potential in the future. If that price will be achieved, it will not definitely make us rich but you have a chance to grow it for investments with other coins in trading.
I think sooner or later, Ethereum will recover, but I think it depends of Bitcoin, the king, if Bitcoin stays as it is, or goes down, ethereum may fall, but if the market goes bull, Ethereum will be one of the altcoins that will moon and can reach more than 1400, the ATH of January 2018.
I'm waiting for $ 1,000. After 1800 dollars at the beginning of the year it is very sad but needs to be realistic.

ethereum won't come back at the value of 1000 $ this year, I'm sure of that.
now the market turmoil is too difficult to predict until there are many altcoins that are very difficult to grow including there.

I can’t say exactly when (maybe by the end of the year, maybe by spring), but the price will definitely increase. And $ 1,500 for Ethereum is not such a big price. 
If you are speculating on ethereum recovering back to $1000 price region, you should be aware that this will not happen overnight, it will take months even years before we may begin to see ether traded at this price. Ethereum had a nice run last year because of bitcoin and if Bitcoin break out in price increase, ethereum might follow suit!
many crypto experts predicted that eth could reach 4000$ by 2019 if not then by 2021. they are thinking if ETH supplies will close to 100 million after PoS
