I wonder why a hacker would return what they stole. He could have just dumped it to the DEX as a way to return it  Embarrassed
Or was it really a hacker or simply just the mistake of INCENT. Why did ETT partner up with INCENT by the way, there were tons of ICOs that didn't care about INCENT since the start.

This is easy. ETT devs can make new token and resend it to investors (and luckily it wasn't traded actively, almost no trade activity on tidex).

An Important Update #4

Hello.

Our investigation has come to a conclusion.

We have enclosed the report of our colleagues from the laboratory of Zerion, who helped to conduct the investigation. We expect Incent to publicly apologize to the EncryptoTel community, and accept full responsibility including financial damages.

Here is the report on the investigation into the hacking incident: >>>

ETH token
The hacker has returned the 38 million stolen ETH ETT tokens, likely as a result of our statement of intent to re-issue the ETH ETT token. All tokens are now accounted for and secure as you can see here. Trading will be re-enabled on Tidex soon.

Waves token
As a reminder to Waves ETT token holders, you do not need do anything. Trading will be re-enabled on Waves-DEX and Tidex soon.

Distribution
We will be resuming distribution in the next few days. We will be doing it personally, and not relying on a third party. The bounty distribution process will begin right after that.

Aleksey Kuznetsov, CTO and co-founder

Finally, things are back on track for ETT and will Incent team pay for this damage that was done to the project?

Investors will now be relieved as their money is back on track and whether additional bonus to investors will be paid as said on one of the earlier updates.?

I doubt Incent team will pay for the damage. They shared the server log and claimed no one accessed the vulnerability before the hack.

Lucky, very lucky.

I hope you thanked the hacker, or even give him some BTC.

Your/we're lucky he has a conscience.

Hopefully we can move on from this now.

Yeah this is the good news that I mean before. Every problem will solve in this project as long as you give the team time to solve those. Now we're waiting for incent taking responsibility of some of "those".

An update:
Roman will be posting full results of the investigation into the hack later this evening, or in the morning tomorrow.

I can tell you this much right now though: The hacker sent back the stolen ETH ETT tokens. Blockswap is disconnected and will remain so. The system is secure. A re-issue will no longer be necessary. We will resume distribution of the last investors still lacking their ETT in 2-3 days. Bounty distribution will begin 2-3 days after that. We will be doing these remaining distributions ourselves. We understand its been a very long and frustrating road to this point. We are anxious to complete distribution and put this behind us. This project still has all the potential in the world, and development continues. It will accelerate soon. Thank you for your patience.

Excellent, looking forward to the report and the following completion of all distributions!

Bad news, hack, delays, and now no exchanges, when will you help us? I just want my principal back.

You need to have some patience as the team has sent an official announcement and also promised to provide an additional bonus to all the investors, so it's a win-win situation now, if you go for an exit then it's your loss now...wait for them to come up with a solution.
Yeah , while waiting i think you should not think about ett for now or focus in the other things .A good updates of additional bonus to the investors . Its a big opportunity and hoping this coin to be traded in big exchange after this problems.
