I think Man United can beat PSG
Pogpa is worth much more than Naymar
Pogba is really enjoying football now and he has something to prove
PSG had one good game against Liverpool but was  very lucky against Napoli
But it will be great test also for Ole Gunnar
mbappe is out of the equation? He can change anything in his day. We have seen it in several occasions. This 19 years dude is extremely skilled.
Agreed with you. MBappe is now playing extremly. I don't think ManU can beat PSG. Neymar and Mbappe is there with Cavani which is one of my favorite player. They will defintely play better than previous against ManU.

Mbappe is a bit of a slump right now, he's been playing too much lately, he needs some rest.

Mbappe is still very young, you’re probably right that he needs a rest. France went all the way to the World Cup Final in the summer so he won’t have had a proper rest for over 18 months now.

Got myself 2 tickets for the 1st leg of the last 16 game - Liverpool vs Bayern Munich.
Looking forward to this man!

I’d love to experience Anfield on a big CL night. I bet it is amazing, the atmosphere etc. Enjoy the game, I think Liverpool will beat Bayern over the 2 legs, Bayern is an old team now, possibly past their peak.

And wait...  There's some sh*t happening with Dembele too?  He's like one of the biggest prospects in Europe with Pulisic imho.  You sure it isn't just tabloid news...?  Cheesy

Oh no it's not tabloid shit, the guy gets fined almost every two weeks by Barca for arriving late in training or even not showing up at all. Even his teammates (i.e. Suarez) are getting tired of him.
Dortmund are glad they got rid of him. The landlord of his apartment there actually filed a complaint against him because he left the place looking like a dump.
He's just a stupid kid who thinks he can do anything he wants. He's very talented but so unprofessional.
There is a documentary about the French team during the World Cup in which we see Deschamps criticizing him a lot for his immaturity.

Wow...  That's really disappointing.  I hope he gets his sh*t together and moves to the EPL somehowif Barca wants him out.  Pretty sure one of the top clubs could use him.

Rated PSG a long time, there were team work based giant killers. Now they have a few giants of their own.
Think about Neymar jr. He can change any equation. Think of Mbappe, young skilled. His speed can crash any defense. France was a good team but Mbappe played the key role to win the world cup for France

PSG has very good chance to win the match against Manchester United.

I don't like PSG, as I think they have the money to create a better squad than the current one. I think that a barrier may be that players do not consider the French League so competitive so they are discouraged to make a transfer there. Apart from that, I can agree that PSG has a great chance to win against Manchester United. Man. Utd still tries to find their pace after Mourinho left and i think they still need time to do so.

Players will go wherever the big money is. Just look at Neymar. He's only there in France for the huge paycheck. If someone offers him more money he'll go there next as soon as he can. I doubt he'll stay that long in France. He'll win a few seasons there, maybe hope for a Champions League or Ballon Dor win then move on - maybe to the Premier League or Bundesliga (and maybe finally China/USA where most star players seem to end their careers). As for the United game I think PSG will beat them in both rounds or maybe they'll scrape a draw at Old Trafford.

The problem with PSG I think is the fact that its players still see it as a small club, they have no respect for it. You have a guy like Verrati being arrested for DUI at 3 AM two days before a game, Rabiot saying he doesn't want to play 6, Neymar who misses practices to go to Ibiza...
That's probably why these guys have never been past the quarters in Champions League, they lack the professionalism. They're not winners. They care more about their Instagram account than about the results of the team.
They need a firm hand and that's not the one of El Khelaifi.
There are things players do at PSG that they probably would never do in "bigger" clubs.

Common, tons of players get int trouble for speeding and other reckless shit. Used to happen much more than it does now as well but it's certainly not limited to PSG. As for players swanning off on holiday the superstars can always do what they want and who's going to stop them? Ronaldo does it all the time too. He even often even misses international games if they're friendlies so he can go sun himself on a yacht somewhere. PSG don't win the Champions league because there's just half a dozen teams that are just  clearly leagues better than them. With that being said, I think they've got their strongest squad in years right now so a win fairly soon would not come as a surprise especially since Real aren't up to much since Zidane left. A PSG vs Liverpool would be a good final tie for me. Boring when the same handul of teams win it all the time.

Are you serious?  I didn't know that...  Lol.  Did all that sh*t with those players happen this year under Tuchel or before him?

...  I don't think Tuchel will allow bs like that under his management.  But they prolly should hire Mou if he is.  Cheesy

It happened this year.
Don't get me wrong, Tuchel is a great manager, he's kind of like Zidane or Ancelotti, very close to his players. Definitely the opposite of a Mourinho lol. But it's Paris, a city where it's easy to party and when you have to play Dijon or Guingamp on the weekend, it's not like you need to make the extra effort in training, you know you're gonna win. But it's short term reasoning. When you're a pro, you gotta act like a pro.

And yes, I believe PSG is not a great club yet, it's not an institution like Barca, Real, Juve, MU or Bayern. These clubs wouldn't tolerate this kind of behavior from its players... well maybe except Barca this year with Dembele lol. But hey they paid him 120 millions so he gets a pass... sometimes at least.

I'd like to see a manager with an "Italian" style in Paris, one like Capello used to be if you know what I mean. That would shake things up lol.

Cool...  They're actually weaker that way and it makes me feel a little bit better on my long shot bet for Man United going thru the KO stages and winning the CL.  Lol.  Grin

Hey I'll agree when it comes to PSG all I can say is with money you can buy players, but not class, or history and fans. PSG is not a big club infact people will remember leicester city for winning premier league despite all odds, than Psg winning their leagues. Also if you see all the transfers from Neymar or Mbappe were only for money, and I feel Manchester United players have 100% chance of taking down Psg because they're playing for the club, the fans, the badge on their shirt and most importantly their manager Ole who's a champions league winner himself. Tokeweed i'm happy you'll be playing on Manchester United, I'm confident victory shall be ours.

The killer game for me in coming matches will be Juve-Atletice
One of them will be out Griezman vs Ronaldo
Juve iron defense vs Atletico defense

I expect the match to be a boring fixture, of course I might miss it, as it will be all about defensive tactics. The match I'm mostly looking forward to would be Liverpool vs Bayern Munich. Although Bayern hasn't been at top of their performance so far this season but I'd longing to see what its attacks vs Liverpool's match up would show.

PSG has never won the CL in their history. They win a joke farmer French League every year but that means nothing.
I agree with you, if you'd also agree then that Ajax is a bigger club than both Man City and Arsenal combined.

Liverpool being bigger club than PSG is debatable from my perspective,
But what's there to debate? There's no doubt that Liverpool are one of the top teams in England and Europe, they've won 5 champions league, and a few other european titles, those titles gives them way more prestige than PSG would get by winning a domestic league over and over again.

but what I definitely won't consider is Milan being a bigger club than PSG for now.
Even if AC Milan's recent history has been absolute shit, they're still considered a top club in europe. If I were to rate PSG, they'll probably in tier 3, while Milan would be a tier 1 team along side Bayern, Real, Barcelona, etc, even Ajax or Dortmund are way bigger clubs than PSG, imo. The french still need to build a reputation in europen competitions to even be considered for a spot in the top club list.

For example Liverpool & Milan are bigger clubs than PSG. It is about a lot more than money. Some Chinese clubs have billionaire owners but they are still shit.

Big clubs have an aura about them, special magic in big games. PSG do not have this which is why they always get a fat L in the CL.

PSG are a very rich club but not a big club. They don’t have a massive, worldwide fanbase & they have 0 CL titles.
The only reason they buy top players is because of rich owners. Without them they are just another shit French team.

What criteria should be considered before referring to football club as a Big club ? I'd choose money over Fan base or No of CL titles. No of CL titles or Fan base could only state how successful/popular a club is, not how big. Ajax has won more UCL than both Chelsea, Tottenham, Man City and Arsenal combined does that mean is as big as all the clubs combined or is bigger even in one of them ? PSG can afford any player they want on the planet, literally. And moreover they are of no match in their league, I think that's what a big team team is all about.
