I didn't know it too. Anyway I think the manager who ever it is , is forced to allow this because if he doesn't do so and leave the star players in the bank then who will play in the Champions League? I am sure the reserve players are not up to the task and in order to have a chance to advance the manager whoever he is he will let this go.

I don't like PSG, as I think they have the money to create a better squad than the current one. I think that a barrier may be that players do not consider the French League so competitive so they are discouraged to make a transfer there. Apart from that, I can agree that PSG has a great chance to win against Manchester United. Man. Utd still tries to find their pace after Mourinho left and i think they still need time to do so.

The problem with PSG I think is the fact that its players still see it as a small club, they have no respect for it. You have a guy like Verrati being arrested for DUI at 3 AM two days before a game, Rabiot saying he doesn't want to play 6, Neymar who misses practices to go to Ibiza...
That's probably why these guys have never been past the quarters in Champions League, they lack the professionalism. They're not winners. They care more about their Instagram account than about the results of the team.
They need a firm hand and that's not the one of El Khelaifi.
There are things players do at PSG that they probably would never do in "bigger" clubs.

Are you serious?  I didn't know that...  Lol.  Did all that sh*t with those players happen this year under Tuchel or before him?

...  I don't think Tuchel will allow bs like that under his management.  But they prolly should hire Mou if he is.  Cheesy

Remember all that noise from the media last summer about Neymar going to Real Madrid after the World Cup? I'm pretty sure one of the main reasons why Real Madrid didn't end up signing Neymar was because of his "childish" behaviour and unprofessionalism while in PSG. But I kinda understand Neymar, the guy is pretty much a a long vacation in France, the Ligue 1 doesn't encourage him to give his 100% in each game and be professional because of the low level most of the teams in the league have.

That's why PSG always fails to accomplish something big in the Champions League, they're used to playing with these low-tier clubs all the time, and when they face a top club, they get outclassed even though they have a lot of really good players.

PSG are a very rich club but not a big club. They don’t have a massive, worldwide fanbase & they have 0 CL titles.
The only reason they buy top players is because of rich owners. Without them they are just another shit French team.

Yes this is a good point, rich doesn't mean big team. Someone invested huge and over the night we have PSG as a mighty squad. They will collapse badly in elimination stages versus clubs like: Real, Barcelona, Juventus....
Somehow their superstars look arrogant on the court (except Cavani)...... I strongly believe there is lot of bad blood between teammates.

I don't think PSG is a small club anymore. It used to be. Now a days PSG made good exposure and improved a lot. They have big players, better management and money of-course. The are killing the giants every now and then.

Rated PSG a long time, there were team work based giant killers. Now they have a few giants of their own.
Think about Neymar jr. He can change any equation. Think of Mbappe, young skilled. His speed can crash any defense. France was a good team but Mbappe played the key role to win the world cup for France

PSG has very good chance to win the match against Manchester United.

What do you guys think of Man United vs PSG at the KO stages?  Man United's odds of getting thru has prolly gone up with Mou gone (but then again, I like Mou's pragmatic approach in tourneys).

This PSG with big names is really fluid and compact team can easily humiliate Man. Utd. red devils are looking better with new coach but still lack creativity and speed compared to Neymar and Mbape. PSG is mega project now just like Galacticos used to be a decade ago.

Easily...  Seriously?  I think Man United has one of the more underestimated, underrated, underperforming squads in Europe imo.  But it's pretty obvious why and I kinda didn't put too much stock on it at first, but yeah, Mou sucks now.  Lol.  They've prolly been downing tools under Mou too.
I am an Man U fan but I like PSG too. They have some good players who can change the game plan of opponents in their day. It's going to be a hard match in between them and will be hard to predict the result too.

Honestly had Mourinho been at the helm Psg would have won it easily, now they'll be fearing this Manchester United side.
Doubt it. If there's a team that's shitting their pants right now thinking about the game in February, it's Manchester United...Lingard, Rashford, and Martial don't look that scary, now Cavani, Mbappe, and Neymar? That's a whole different story, especially if they're gonna face the likes of Bailly, Lidelof, Young, or Jones...I still consider PSG the main favorites...to me, the chances of Man Utd advancing to the next round have gone up from 20% (with Mou) to maybe 30% (with Solskjaer).

^  ...  You never know.  Wink

And it's the KO stages.  Any club has a higher chance of going thru than what the bookies' lines make it look.

During these stages bookies always try to play us, I think though that this stage will show favourites going through although you really never know who the favourite is in these couples. I think we may see some games go to extra time after the two legs are played.

Champions league is always a good event to try and win some money.

With PSG, you never know. They can beat anyone in Europe but can also be crushed 6-1 by Barca lol.
It all depends on their motivation on a specific day.
But on paper, MU's defense is no match for players like Mbappe, Neymar, Cavani...
PSG are favorites but again...

When there was Mou in charge, I didn't see any chances for MU to win against PSG. But now MU is hot team, it's become interesting to watch them playing. Now I would say this pair is 50/50. Ok, maybe PSG have slightly better chances, but I think everything can happen in this pair. It should be very interesting matches to watch.

Taking a look on some betting sites, Manchester United odds are quite good vs PSG which won previously in 2015. Hard match with high risk of loss  Wink
Well according to Bet365 PSG is going to win. The odd for PSG is 6/5. It will be a hard game. Both Man U and PSG have some good players and in their day they can change any equation.

Manchester Untied is different club now with new coach but to be honest they were playing against small clubs
For sure Man United has enough class players to will battle against PSG
It will be close games and i think we can expect some goals .Man United is very offensive now PSG has best strikers
On paper PSG is a little better but just a little exactly like on odds on game 6/5 PSG
