Dortmund vs Atalanta was such a good game!

I'm surprised about result of Nice - Lokomotiv Moscow match. Nice were leading 2:0 after goals of Balotelli, but then Loko managed to score 3 goals in a row in away game. Offcourse, important factor in this game was red card that Nice player got red card in the middle of second half.
It's not the first time that OGC Nice blew a 2-0 lead this season, so it isn't that surprising.

I'm surprised about Steaua 1-0 Lazio, and Napoli 1-3 Leipzig (especially this one, I didn't expect this score, and I think that goal in the 93' min is pretty much game over).
Wish I did watch this game if it was a good one as the score would tell you it was being 3-2.
I have but my faith in Dortmund Borrussia in the past and was disappointed in their previous attempts so just glad to see they have put on a brave face and managed to put up a good fight to keep this game theirs.
Congratulations to Dortmund and I think those recent changes helped their team to succeed and maybe get to the level they were playing at before.

My boys Liverpool looking red hot at the moment, who is going to want to play is in the 1/4 final. Attack us if you dare, Mane Salah & Firmino are killers on the counter attack.

I hope both Man City and LFC don't draw any English teams for the quarter finals on March 16 (assuming some of them win their legs that is).  That would suck.

The Spurs is already 75% there imo with two away goals.

Roundly unsurprised at last night's outcomes, and even the "shock" loss of the Italian leaders was not too much of a surprise. You only need to look back at their performance in the Champions League group stages to have guessed that they'll continue to focus their efforts on maintaining top spot in Serie A. For the sake of Napoli, I hope it all pans out. They can still afford to win it away 2-0 next leg, I mean, it'd be a shame to see them miss out on a trophy even if they do end up pipping Juventus to the title!

My bet's on Dortmund or Athletico to reach the finals, maybe both if they don't meet each other first. Arsenal? Too inconsistent!
Atletico Madrid are the most experienced club to play at the biggest competition like Europa league and champions league, just look at the odds, bookies make them as one of the favorite team to win the cup, but honestly when it comes to betting I would bet arsenal to win this time , they need to win something big this season, the investment on players was so big, the pressure are on them.

Real Madrid lost all chances to win Spanish Championship and Champions League is their main goal now. They struggle with their form during whole season and this is their game of the season. Same on the other side. PSG has to prove that they are championship team and that they have quality to win every competition with this team. Knowing the style of both teams, tonight is all about the goals... over 2.5, over 3.5, both team to score...all good bets. Who will be winner of this duel and who will qualified to next round is very hard to predict but great football show is guaranteed.

You had a good point there with Real concentrating on Champions league. I also thought there would be many goals, and there were.
I would like to point out that there was a long time since I saw such a lousy defense on a such an otherwise strong team. That guy - Lo Celso, he lost around 4-5 balls around his penalty box and I just cannot understand why he wasn't replaced. Finally, he also made a penalty. It is not one guy to blame though - and in this guy, not the player but the manager.

Real showed us again that a well-balanced team, playing together for a long time will almost always beat short time over-investments.

in the Europa League we already have 8 teams almost qualified for the next round: At. Madrid, Ac Milan, Arsenal, Sporting, Marseille, Ath.Bilbao, Lyon, Rb Leipzig.

At. Madrid, Arsenal and Ac Milan are for me the favorites for the victory of the cup.

I watched Real vs. PSG and must say that it was really well spent 2 hours. Real proved that in spite some bad results in Primera they are still one of the best teams in Europe when stakes are high enough. PSG has a lot of great individuals but they are not a team.

What happened in other match? Did Liverpool played that well or Porto didn't show this evening?

In the champions league, it turns out! Real Madrid is still a strong man!

PSG poses a great threat to real Madrid, but not enough to win! Cristiano ronaldo is still the greatest player in the world!

The next round will be an exciting game!

Arsenal managed to get full points in the first leg match when dealing with Ostersund. The wins will make it easier for Arsenal in the second leg match as they need only a draw to qualify for the next round at UEL. But, with the difference in quality from both teams, I think Arsenal will try to win the game in the second leg later because surely they do not want to just get a draw in front of their supporters during the second leg match later

Arsenal have easily overcome their opponents!

Their popularity has changed quite simply. I don't think Arsenal will give their opponents any chance!

They can consider the next round of opponents!

Another unexpected result - Steaua 1:0 Lazio.
And Athletic won against Spartak 3:1! It's surprising, because Athletic aren't used to play in such cold weather conditions and also their recent results was terrible. But it's worth to mention that it was first official game for Spartak after winter break.
Now it's clear that Arsenal, Sporting, Marseille, Milan and Atletico already in next round and Athletic, Red Bull Leipzig and Lyon are very close to reach it.

yeah Arsenal got past this stage with flying colors the hosts are clearly not match for Arsenal a watched the first two goals and the swedish team clearly lack the experience and their defense was terrible I was surprised that Arsenal didn't get more then one goal after those two.
All the candidates to win The European league had positive results Only Napoli finding it difficult to win home against a thought opponent whom Leipzig currently they are losing 2-1 and that puts them in a difficult situation to get to the next stage it looks like they underestimated Leipzig. While other big contenders like Marseille and Atletico got big wins Dortmund won but it was 3-2 not the best results they can get.

I can say one of the most important points on the road for Liverpool. For Porto, we can call it luck. Real Madrid got an important score at home, but I did not think that Psg would play so bad.

^ Marcelo did awesome and scored a goal too.  And the Real midfield is so fun to watch, closing down on PSG when they don't have the ball.  It's like they're saying 'this ain't La Liga f*ckaaaz!'

I would absolutely looove to see them win the CL three times in a row.

I will love seeing real Madrid winning the champions league for the third time in the row but it seems very difficult this year , I see maybe a surprise this year , maybe a club who didn't win the champions trophy in this whole history , like citizens or spurs or maybe a Liverpool trophy again but not real or Barcelona for sure . We are sick and tired of seeing Spanish clubs dominating for many years now . So personally I want to see a new winner this year but I still hope that it will be the reds of Liverpool or maybe my favourite team juventus

Watching a new team would be a awesome thing, I would also like Juventus to hold the trophy, but from EPL league I am also kind off supporting Tottenham and ManU as well. But I won't say its difficult for Real Madrid watching the last game of Madrid against PSG. The way they played is completely different the way they are playing in La Liga, so can't say anything, different League, different mentality and gameplay it seems.

Someone's getting excited, too much maybe?  Roll Eyes but I gotta say, the english clubs have been amazing so far, hopefully Chelsea will put up a good performance at home against Barca.

On another note, we have a lot of good matches today in the Europa League. I might stick with Dortmund vs Atalanta (Dortmund to Win and Both Teams to Score), Napoli vs Leipzig (Over 2.5 Goals), Lyon vs Villareal (Lyon to Win), and Celtic vs Zenit (Both Teams to Score).

Btw, is there a clear favorite to win this cup? maybe Atletico Madrid given how they've reached 2 CL final in the last 4 years, but with the quality of the other clubs like Napoli, Arsenal, Dortmund, Lyon, Zenit, Milan, I'm not so sure.
