I'm currently on block 216052.

Kimmyf had to change the server that the block explorer was on circa 5/9/2015. Perhaps that is why the block explorer is behind.

I will get in touch with kimmyf about it.

In other news, I spoke with a developer this week who is capable of building EventHub and willing to do it as a job, but he was very straightforward with me about his opinion that he doesn't think the concept is viable. Obviously, I'd prefer to work with and invest in a developer who does think the concept is viable and is interested in seeing it succeed, so for now, the search continues.
infinitechaos,
thank You for update and for your work. Also i think I'm on right chain, finally on block 216150.

Somebody is staking on different chain, not the block explorer one. I was staking also on wrong chain, block count was over 210 000,block explorer is 207925, Resyncing now with nodes posted....

EDIT: I have completly resynced the wallet with posted nodes and I'm on block 128105 but block explorer's last block is 207925 from 5/9/2015 2:29:27 PM;

our block explorer does indeed seem to be stuck at block 207925 on 5/9/2015.  I run two nodes that are currently on block 215962 and staking.  I'm using the nodes listed in the OP and they both seem to be working but without the block explorer I can't verify that I'm not on a fork.......

.....Houston, we may have a little issue ..........
Thank You for reply, I will resync again.

Nothing major to share quite yet.

We have some ideas we are considering and contacts to whom we are reaching out.

StudioProject left us with absolutely zero tech that can sustain the intended functionality of this coin, so it is going to take some time to find the right people, funding, etc. to get us to where we want to go, but we are here doing our best!
any news?

Hello everyone, I've been pretty busy lately with non-crypto life but I did have a chance this week to make a proper pitch to the Blocknet, essentially proposing that they might consider taking over development of the EventToken project and integrate it with the Blocknet. If this proves to be a fruitful avenue to finding development resources that can manifest this application of blockchain technology to event ticketing and finances, I think EventToken could potentially serve to be one of the most viable resources available through the Blocknet, a cross-chain communication protocol/platform that is making some interesting moves in this space right now.

You can follow the conversation re: this proposal at the Blocknet's Public Meeting ConceptBoard:

Get the idea to Insomniac Events, they are huge and might take interest if you can catch their attention.

I made a proper update to the OP today.

You will see that I've added a list of nodes, the address at which the premine is located, a link to the Bittrex market, and an update on where we currently stand.

I removed the mining pools and Dean's POD certification.

I plan to wait until the end of this week to hear back from Dean about retrieving the XCP fork. If I don't hear from him by Friday, it's time to pursue plan B.

If you have insight or input to offer, or just want to watch us figure this out, please PM me for an invite to Slack.

Thanks for your ongoing support, everyone!

Good work, great to see this coin back on track!! The SuperNET suggestion is definitely worth pursuing.

Keep up the good work!!

@boomboom Great suggestion to look in supernet slack; Infinitechaos, KimmyF, and myself are already community members there.

@rahmad2nd ATM we are waiting for more information from Dean, most importantly the XCP fork which was being worked on.

We believe Dean's concept has great potential, event ticketing only scratches the surface of what EventHub will be able to do. Eventtoken is a perfect example of how blockchain technology is applicable in real use cases. We have been looking through the Eventtoken email account and I can assure everyone here that Dean was legitimately working to make this idea a reality. The email account is filled with outgoing emails to festival planners, concert promoters, etc. It is unfortunate that Dean has fallen on hard times which have prevented him from continuing on with this project.

While I don't particularly like how Dean bowed out, his silence is what I'm referring to, I do sympathize as I have been where he is before. When your family's well-being is at stake, every other thing in your life ceases to exist. I am grateful that Dean has stepped up and is doing everything he can to facilitate this takeover.

Infinitechaos is currently the lead on this project right now and is in the middle of moving his family across the country. Once he is finished with that, we as a team will be able to further discuss how to advance with this project. We are open to all suggestions!

I also would like to say right now, this project may not advance as quickly as many of you would like. For now we are mainly waiting for the fork as I mentioned before. Dean had hired an outside team to work on the fork and eventhub for him and we are waiting for them to turn the work over to him which will then be transferred over to us. We fully intend to do our best to bring eventtoken and eventhub to fruition in the form of a real world business. Our goal is not to create another pump and dump coin. We are only here because we believe in the strength of this idea.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions and everyone is welcome to join our slack channel. It isn't that busy in there right now but hopefully that will change in the near future.
