Over a month now since the last post in this thread Sad Ruru has just mentioned however that the coins are still in the cold wallet, no movement at all... is there even the slightest glimmer of hope they could be recovered?

To be honest, nope, unless someone can dox OP and get him in real life, and somehow make him agree to pay the investors and gamblers back.

I support freedom of choice
I think that it will be interesting to start a bet on when someone will find (death/alive) one of all these scammers Smiley

Breaking news : Edward got 3 kg up since he made largest scam in the dice history. He says that he was eating too much BTC pies. Cmon, you're still writing in this topic, ED is dead for 2 months now almost, so just forget your money there and live with it.
Start with something safer like PD is.

Elaborate scam? Its a genius idea. Launch a gambling site, copy someone else's design. Play with it for a while until players start to invest. Then jump shit when you feel you have enough btc.

This time he was forced to scam, coz of 1dice1 he won huge , and made him to pull this off.

That's a needlessly elaborate scam though, you think the user 'uptweets' decided to create a new everydice account, just so he could eventually run off with people's money?

If people can't track down uptweet (despite a strong link to another user here) then how could they track down Ed? Ed could have just done the exact same thing using one account and run away with it anyway.

That's the main investor, not Ed.

Yeah "his imaginary friend investor" that invested loads of money and now he cant reach him. Thats for sure. Dont be silly, if that is the case Ed would put much more effort into proving it , not just put a notice on the site and leave for good.

How come the OP of this thread is not banned? Even if what he said is true, at the end of the day it's his responsibility to have the funds safe and secure.

Banning the OP does not help in any way, in fact, it might worsen it, should he decide to reopen the site and cough up.
+1, banning the site owner would be a terrible idea, especially since it seems he's as much a victim in this as anyone else

Yeah sure he is the biggest victim. He is feeling so bad now that he is somewhere on vacation spending ur money Smiley .

Bitcointalk forum do not ban for scamming, but trusted member give negative trust to scammer, but it is really surprising OP even did not got negative trust.

Wow. Did not know this happened. Very sorry to all the victims I hope there is justice or a turnaround but I'd bet everything against that unfortunately.

The funny thing is, after all of this, and with how quiet 1DiCe1 has been on the whole matter, it does seem like he pulled something shady to win the BTC in the first place... if he won them fair and square, and was still owed 150BTC or whatever, surely he'd be on here every day, chasing down the owner, chasing down that Brian Santos guy to see if ther'es a link etc?

maybe 1dice1 doesn't really care about his 150btc OR it was all staged and brian santos or whoever ran the site, was actually 1dice1 and exploited his own site. truth is, we will never know the truth.

So true.
We only know that Everydice is over and some people have lost some bitcoin in it, but not really sure about the others (early major investor, seeds leakage, etc).

Who knows at this point?

When you have money on the website you think that they won't close the website because they are making money, they are trustworthy and people that have a lot of money invested will chase them down if they leave but apparently not at all
