Btw ur loss is huge man :S
I know... that's why I'm checking this thread multiple times per day Smiley

What's funny is that despite all of the sympathy being aimed at 1DiCe1 (perhaps understandably so) he is one of the only people to come out of this with more BTC than he started with. That includes the ED site admin too.

Yeah i think investors are in worst position, he only lost his winnings , u guys lost ur investments. I hope they rly come out and fix this.

To all players and investors, my deepest apology for this delayed updates. I'll try my best to share what happened so far:

The site was bought in the early days by an investor. As an operator, I got my share from 0.1% wagered amount for maintaining the site and development updates. I have no other option in the beginning since I don't have enough coin to be put as bankroll to the site. I believe it is fair for other people as well because I wasn't an active forum member.

I hold the code and hot wallet, and the investor hold the cold wallet. It is also fair since he already bought the site and I was paid for development and maintenance. This is why we got high investment jumps in the beginning, and you can also see some fractional amount of transfer from hot wallet and cold wallet, and sometime the hot wallet also became so big, because it was said that it is very difficult for him to transfer from the cold wallet to hot wallet, so to keep the withdrawal instant we tried to keep relatively big amount in hot wallet.

The site grows fast, I kept updating and adding new features to the site. Everything seems good and I keep in contact with the investor. When there's a mistake on the site and we loss coin, he also willing to cover the loss when the site got hacked in the beginning, this kept the site running well.

However, when our site suffered great loss few days ago, it is inevitable for us to transfer the coin from cold wallet to hot wallet. The hot wallet quickly drained because I already sent 50 BTC to 1dice1, and most of other investors quickly withdraw their balance. Most of the remaining bankroll is from a single major investor, this is also the reason why the bankroll still relatively big even when the site suffers huge losses and 1DiCe1 didn't invest.

This is the time when I start to investigate the issue of bets' validity. However, site seed leak is not easy to detect. This is also the time when I have difficulty to contact the major investor and also got accused from cheating as 1DiCe1. And yes, it is easy for him to get away with the coin as my relation with him is from the forum only and he is also as anonymous as me.

For some people that still in doubt of this, best I can offer is for you to believe that I didn't have a strong incentive to run away: I got revenue from wagered amount either when the site is winning or losing, even days after 1DiCe1 case bankroll is still big (even without 1DiCe1 investment), as you can see ED got more attention compared to other new dice site and the potential revenue is higher than current bankroll if we can reach at least at least top 5 of dice sites, the news will also get viral and help ED to get more exposures.

Until today, I'm still trying to contact the major investor personally but with no luck. I feel devastated and start to feel betrayed. However, this is not the first time I have difficulty in contacting him and I still have faith that he is actually a good person. I'm sincerely sorry for all this confusion, I wrote this with good intention and hopefully people who know me and my past actions would try to trust and understand the situation. My current priority is still to find the fairest solution for this matter.
I do not understand why he gave any of the BTC to a major investor, or who the investor is? I'm glad that ED have came out to try and clarify matters though, even if it isn't good news, at least it's something and they haven't disappeared completely.

ED is still trying to recover the money which gives me at least a tiny bit of confidence.

(edit) I stupidly invested 21 BTC, after 1DiCe1 and 4747 pillaged the bankroll - I was left with 6 BTC. Still a hell of a lot of money for me though, even though I've already lost the majority.

Hmmm... That is weird.
Not sure if he is honest . Time will show. But there is a bit of hope again for u guys.

We will see. Btw ur loss is huge man :S .

Nooooooo.... Sad

Not sure what to do now. I actually work for the police, but I don't know if they'd take a case like this seriously, or if they can even do anything about it.

Plus, being completely honest, the entire thing is a bit embarrassing.

No , police cant do anything. How much u got stuck ?

great site with good design.I think you should also start sig campaigns in order to attract more players and investors.

The owner has run away already, the site is dead, and you are saying it is great lol. Cheesy

Before trying to boost your post count, please spend 5 seconds checking the site...
really i can not believe.I think we should not believe any new gambling site.Pd and Jd are enough for the community to entertain themselves

Not rly . More competition means more giveaways ,better faucets and so on.

Yeah, competition is good because it  makes them progress.

And btw, I liked ED design lot more than PD or JD.

Who cares about ED design now!

If we had only one big trusted casino the rake would be 8%, SD rake was much higher than PD and JD

Ed is gone. He told 1DiCe1 he had to investigate bets because investors could not believe the deviation. He also told 1DiCe1 that no seeds were leaked and implied without stating that her betting was legit and he just needed to make investors happy.
What he told them, I don't know. Maybe they can contribute to this thread..?
All of a sudden he's in bad health and out of town, which is believed (proven?) to be in China, but still logging in to forum and skype for time to time. No more communication added.

If I were to make a guess, he's still very active in the forum with (one of) his alt(s), and running other businesses atm.

Lastly, where's P-4747 that pulled out ~50btc during ddosing at the last moments of the site? Ever thought about this player and why that ddos attack?

I though about it but who knows? ED was implying it may be 1Dice1 and it is weird that an other new player wins huge after 1Dice1's wins

"after new player P-4747 won additional ~50 BTC (so far P-4747 has not contacted us)." : I don't think they sent him his winnings

Why isn't he getting red tag by doing this ?

Only one feedback on ED trust page : "Do not trust. Withholding MASSIVE amounts of BTC after an "exploit" (note: most likely made up to get out of paying some large winnings) was found."

In the case of this, would the bitcointalk admins be in a position to let people know Ed's IP address etc? Not that it'd do much good I guess.

They shouldnt expose anybodys ip , not even scammers. I guess they wont do it.

Theymos has made it clear that he will release IP only in response to court order or police request.

Current policy is to release IPs only in response to a court order or a reasonable police request. (I don't guarantee that I won't release IPs in other cases, though.)

There are indeed 2 threads in scam accusation (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/everydice-negative-feedback-needed-from-a-mod-636460 and https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/everydicecom-provably-fair-with-instant-cashouts-624138), but it seems it didn't draw much attention...
