No matter how expensive the food is, people will still buy it, even though in their hearts they are annoyed and protest that why the price of the food is too expensive, but people have no choice but to buy it, because their stomachs cannot be filled with stones or pebbles. But if it's not too important, you can reduce your food portions and buy food that has been discounted beforehand. That should be able to reduce the burden a little from food prices which are currently increasingly unreasonable.

I always tell people that even with the current difficulty and hardship in nations presently,people will always look for ways to cope and cater for themselves.I honestly don't know how they do it,but its so encouraging and mindblowing to discover how people are still able to survive this precarious challenge.

Many companies even lay off employees to maintain company stability. and what about the people affected, there will definitely be economic difficulties because they have been laid off from their jobs.
but miraculously, they were still able to survive in such difficult conditions. So I think the government must also contribute again to overcome the increase in basic prices, so that it doesn't become something terrible, inflation and poverty rates will continue to grow.
thats the harsh truth but what can we do we got our purchasing power plummeted everyday due to inflation but nothing we can do at all except strive to get better career and salary.

Not everyone is lucky in mastering certain skills, this can be due to limited education, so it is very difficult to find work due to lack of skills, we often encounter such difficulties in society. Like setting aside a certain amount of income for old age, it is not good to spend all your income on temporary pleasures, such as traveling, luxurious meals and so on.

I had thought that it is only in my country that things went out of shape. It is so bad that people who could survive and also accomplish projects can no longer afford food. In my country, the prices of things has gone x5 within the space of 1 month. Many people can no longer afford eating in nice restaurants, whereas those restaurants are still filled by people.This is the right time to plan very well and have multiple jobs doing to have multiple streams of income. The inflation seems global but the suffering is more in corrupt countries.

I completely understand everything, things are going from bad to worse in my own country, cost of living is skyrocketing whilst salaries and wages stay the same, a great percentage of people are basically living from paycheck to paycheck, with no sort of savings at all. Inflation is a real global problem right now, and it is worse in third world countries. The poor is getting poorer, and if the gap between the haves and the have nots continues to widen, then there is serious problem/crisis looming.
Having said that, to survive this harsh reality, people must seek extra sources of income, depending on one alone is no longer possible as things stand. Learning profitable skills is also advisable.

Overall, there is an ongoing economic development every year and despite the fact that there is an inflation and prices are going up, the salaries of many people is going up too, so, technically there is no difference between $2 brurger when your salary is $2000 and $4 burger when you earn $4000. But for many people, life is getting hard and expensive, that's fact. By the way, make no mistake, slavery isn't gone, it just improved and become a little comfortable. Many people all around the work live to work. The only escape probably seems to always use best chances. You have to be super lucky to catch coins like Matic, BNB and Solana. These are new coins, anyone that invested in these coins in 2020, can now sit on Ibiza and relax. This kind of investment seems the only way to escape 9-5 routine.

I definitely agree that some people are willing to pay far too much for stuff these days, it often seems to be driven either by laziness or lack of shopping around. However you can turn this to your advantage with just a little bit of research and investment, instead of getting angry at how society works - just start harnessing it instead to your advantage. Seek out the shops and retail locations that you think will perform best in this environment, look for value in erratic markets for a chance to beat this race. You need to accept that many people will stay in the "rat race" their whole lives, just running on a treadmill and living a bit of a miserable existence in some ways. Others will seek to capitalize and squeeze out the highest potential from every situation presented to them, try to find a balance in the middle.

If at this height of economic hardship with a sustainable inflation rise and a laying-off of workers by some companies resulting to many employed, and in all of this happening right now in the world and you're lucky to find yourself in a position you're able to fend for your family, pay bills and surviving it all then you should not think you are not rich. Being rich isn't just about owning multibillion properties and investments, being rich should be a subjected issue to the individual. As there are still people that have what you may call wealth to you but for then they still feel poor.

I don't agree with the fact that we can spend the same amount on meals at home that we spend at restaurants. Because making things at home is mostly in bulk quantity and we know that things made in bulk are always cheap in compared to the ones we eat in restaurants. I don't know where do you live and what are the economical situation in your country but IMO that's not right to say. Besides that, I do agree with the fact that things are expensive nowadays. Let me share a story with you, once I was buying vegetables from a shop, and some other stuff for dinner, and there was an old man standing there and started to say, you are spending a lot of money on this stuff and without any hesitation. I then thought two things first, if I wouldn't spend the money then how I am supposed to make dinner, second I thought for that old man the money might be a big amount because they have seen a time where they buy more with less money and now the same amount of money is being spend for lesser things. So when this happens in front of them it gives them flashbacks. So I ignored his statement at the moment as nothing can be done, if prices are high then salaries as well. Please note that I am talking about the salaries not the value of money we are earning.
We're all living to survive and if there are people that have been spending and not thinking about tomorrow because they are right, no one really knows what tomorrow will be. As much as we want to have some decent meal that's going to satisfy us and it's like a reward to ourselves, there are times that we can't do it anymore because we feel that we're cheated by the inflation and while wages don't increase a lot, it's being beaten it and all we have to do is to tighten our pockets.

Even if they complain, they don't have a solution to it, so it is better if they work hard and get what they want. If not, it is easy for everyone out there to look for a way to meet their needs. Although I don't know if in your side it food is only that costs, in my side everything has doubled in price, but I can say all this is because of inflation. Everything is expensive. Since these two things are done when you are financially okay and since people are looking for ways to eat their daily food, you can see that they won't think of investing or saving money.
The prices and inflation are different in different regions, so not everyone might be able to relate to the op. In my country, the prices changed dramatically (around 1.7x, I'd say) in 2022, and then a little more in 2023. So generally, goods are now worth twice as much as they used to be a little over 2 years ago. But the restaurant prices changed accordingly, so cooking at home is still way less expensive than eating out. In my country, a lot of people actually can't afford all these things and poverty grew significantly, but since the reason of the price changes is much bigger than the price changes (the reason is war), people naturally don't complain much.

Are you sure cooking a meal at home can cost the same amount as eating at a restaurant, even with the same menu? How do restaurants make a profit then? My experience is that cooking at home is less expensive than a restaurant because I don't have to pay for staff salaries, rent, taxes, etc. It's mainly the cost of food and some electricity or gas.
Still, in today's world, it's true that saving or investing requires either cutting expenses or increasing income. I'm glad we live in the cryptocurrency era because it's been a real help for me financially
