The cost of living isn't going up. The value of fiat currencies is going down. It's going down because the big central banks kept printing money during the last several decades. The big economies had reached a point where they can't sustain economic growth without money printing and
generating more debt. Some countries would simply go bankrupt, if their central banks stop printing money.
Inflation is redistributing wealth from the poor to the rich. How many new millionaires and billionaires were created in the last 3 years?
Meanwhile, the people with fixed incomes are suffering the most from inflation.

Those people who can still afford the price without complaining may find a way to earn more so they can still afford the food they want to eat. That's the battle in life. If you want to be in a situation where you can continue to afford to buy anything you want even if the price of goods is higher than it was before, you should find a way to make it possible the same as what they are doing.

The inflation rate is something we can't stop, if we feel that the life, we had in the past can't be the same anymore, maybe we should realize that we need to have another higher source of income to provide a better lifestyle for ourselves.

The same as investment, if we want to continue our investment, let's find a way to continue doing it. Lessen your expenses if ever we currently find a way to have a higher pay rate. Life is a continuous battle, and you should make yourself able to adjust anywhere. If you let yourself get left behind, especially in this kind of scenario, someday you will find yourself unable to afford anything anymore.

You weren’t supposed to get angry, but happy. The reason I said so is because some still live without being able to afford food for themselves and their family members. This has gone a long way. You can think of many people who have died because of hunger in many countries, but when you also have the chance to eat, it is also enough for you to be happy, not sad. because almost all your money has gone to the normal living experience. Although in this type of situation, investment is good, when you find it hard to do everything, everything changes. For instance, if someone who has a household to take care of earns $50 a month, you know it will be very hard for him to even feed himself and the household for even a week, so you won’t expect that kind of person to have an investment, but he will just continue lending money just to suit out his personal problems, and when the depths get too deep, he will just end up killing himself because he has no more solutions due to his life experience. 

That is why, most of the time, I do encourage two sources of income. Even if you don't have your own personal skills, you should try your best to work at least in two different places that will also help you get extra money that can sustain your needs even if you are not able to invest. Although if you want to invest, you can still do it because investment is not until you get rich. No, but when you have the mind to do it, you will definitely do it. But when you don't have the mind to invest, you will always view it as a rich-people scheme.

For me, It's not that difficult to save, it's just that we need to have proper allocation of our budget and just live within your means,
One of the reasons I see why a person can't save is because first, when their salary or income increases, they also increase their expenses in life, it seems that it has become normal for most people now that instead of just saving the increased income or put in investment, what they do is they add their other expenses and liabilities because they think they deserve to do that just because their income increased. There is nothing wrong if we want to try something different or buy expensive things for ourselves because we really deserve it, but shouldn't it be better to prioritize our savings and investments before the luxury In order to reduce such complaints like this? Just a disclaimer, I'm aware that we don't have the same expenses but if you already know that you're running low on budget, maybe you should also assess yourself to see what things you can cut so you can save money.

Now we no longer have to think about living according to the previous rules, when the situation gets worse then saving money and only fulfilling basic foodstuffs to survive is also very good. So I see now everyone feels the same way maybe only the fairly well-off people are not so affected. So with conditions like that, it's time for us to adapt without having to think about what of course there will never be a solution. Keep working and eating healthy food that doesn't need to be expensive, exercising and always thinking positively so that life will always be fresher.

But does complaining make you money? Does complaining help you escape hunger? Otherwise, why do we have to waste time complaining? Instead, if you know life is getting more and more difficult, find a solution, don't complain or cry because it can't solve the problem . I admit that life is increasingly harsh and making money is also extremely difficult, but there are still people who make very good money. That only proves that we are becoming too incompetent and unable to adapt to current life . I will try to find solutions and improve my knowledge to adapt to things rather than complain.

I think this is normal, the same as with basic needs, when agriculture experiences difficulties then the price of basic necessities is likely to increase, and there is no other way but to follow suit, although usually housewives can bargain over the price but the offer will not be accepted by the seller if the offer is not accepted, of course the seller also wants a profit so they maintain the price that has been set at the lowest price. Basic needs such as kitchen ingredients or other things such as paying bills may increase in price over time.

I think you're from third world countries, where it's nothing new there are a lot poor people and live from paycheck to paycheck. You have few options, either stay in your country and get less salary, move to developed country or learn very hard about how income skill that you can work anywhere.

May the Lord help us with what we are facing these days regarding inflation, it is terrible. Though I do not know your country, in mine, it is worse. What we face is a typical example of hyperinflation, and sadly, our governments are dummies, they are just clueless but using a "try-by-error approach." You can imagine that the cost of sugar alone among other things skyrocketed more than x10 in just 2 years and a few months. It is that bad.

I strongly disagree with you on this. There is nothing as cost-effective as cooking at home, it is better than eating out at a restaurant. It is practical, my friend and those restaurants selling to you will buy the raw materials just like you can buy and prepare them for you. And of course, they will serve you what will make them gain and not lose. But preparing it at home will help you get the food prepared and still enjoy the value the restaurant would have gained from you in addition. At times, depending on the food, by cooking yourself in my country, you may be saving yourself between 4-7 times, if not more.

As for people affording it, it can't be easy but they have no choice. And just like I wrote a while ago, inflation doesn't automatically translate to economic hardship because the economy may still be booming even with the inflation, only that you pay more for what you get. So, if you are gainfully employed, you might be painstakingly paying more and this may force you to save less since you have to continue living. This means that the situation is bitting but people just don't have a choice.

That's the anger bro, it is difficult and will never encourage savings. Nonetheless, the rich are also lamenting in my country now because they are spending multiples more than what they spent before. There is no way they will not also feel it especially if their earnings are not increasing but expenses increase by about over 7 times in less than 3 years.

In today's situation with the rising cost of living, it is better not to worry about fashionable clothes and new gadgets but to still save some money that can be invested in investments and, of course, not skimp on your health. Replacing natural foods, especially fruits, which get expensive, with certain vitamins that are unfortunately missing from most natural foods and avoiding trans fats will save you from seeking medications in the future.

Complaining is possible but what will they get after complaining?

Can they change their governments and central banks?
Can they find any way to improve their national economics, first by themselves if they are in charged of governments and central banks?

For chronic problems in a nation, you can complain but it's really hard to actually change it and make it better.

So you must focus on yourself, work hard, earn more and use your money to invest such as in Bitcoin.

It is really funny but truth goods have skyrocketed to the extent people are afraidto feed . When ever you go out to buy things in the market you become angry at your self because you don even know where to start because of how expensive food stuff has become. Sometimes I start questioning my self, that is this how we are going to train our children? I start thinking that our parents were lucky to have given birth to us when things were chip. The restaurant issues no doubt about that, because couples of time I have gone to the restaurant and the price of food there is almost thesame as the one to prepare at home so there is no difference anymore. The only difference is that in a restaurant you eat a plate but at home after the one you dished, you still have extra.

And because of this singular price hike has made people not being able to save money, saving money is now a war it only takes deligent to save money.

Are you sure cooking a meal at home can cost the same amount as eating at a restaurant, even with the same menu? How do restaurants make a profit then? My experience is that cooking at home is less expensive than a restaurant because I don't have to pay for staff salaries, rent, taxes, etc. It's mainly the cost of food and some electricity or gas.

Still, in today's world, it's true that saving or investing requires either cutting expenses or increasing income. I'm glad we live in the cryptocurrency era because it's been a real help for me financially

The people who are employed can still spend money on fast food like McDonalds but many already started to cut back.

Right now most of the time I am McDonald’s it’s fairly empty, a few years back it was always busy. You also get coupons sent to you most frequently which only means they get less business.

It’s bad out there but it won’t get worst until people start to lose their jobs. But with growing gdp who knows when that will be.

I don't know where you're from, but from where I'm writing a good chunk of the people are working day and night just to survive. That doesn't just mean eating; that means eating instant noodles, fried fish, and other cheap food. That also doesn't just mean staying; that means staying in a small and hot room.

That makes me angry, but what makes me angrier, and deeply troubled as well, is the fact that these people have surrendered everything to the reality. They seem to have fully embraced the life that fate has assigned them. They seem to have no other definition of life outside the kind of life they're living in.

Anyway, if cooking a meal at home costs you as high as eating at a restaurant, I guess that's less hassle for you. Or better yet, it might help if you produce at least a little of your own food.

In my part of the world atleast, people have stopped spending. They are buying the basic necessity and ignoring the rest. There's inflation on everything and the market has been on a depression. There are no crowds in shops and malls. Businesses are closing. Real estate prices are high and haven't decreased but there's no one buying. Even people who have money aren't spending and are saving. The stock market is slow, there's no bull or bear but the confidence is low. People are not buying stocks.
Banks are decreasing their interest rate as liquidity rises. But there are not enough people willing to take loans even on low interest rate. Not sure how long this trend would remain or we are in this situation for ever but most people are barely surviving on salaries and pensions.

The cost of living is increasing day by day, and as a result, the world experiences inflation and a bad economy. The currencies are losing value, which means their purchasing power is decreasing.
 
What $1 could be able to purchase before is no longer the same thing that it can buy today in the market, so you don't expect them to sell food at the same price they were selling it when the price of the good used to process was a bit lower. 
 
I know a lot of restaurants might take advantage of the price of things and raise their price to the highest to make the most out of it, but if you check it very well, they have other bills to pay, staff rent, utilities, and even tax, and they need to have something they will run back to and the rest of them. 
 
You always have your house to run back to, and you can get your own food if you are not financially comfortable with the way they sell things in the restaurant. Buy things and prepare yourself so that you don't need to pay for those extra funds, which you can save for other things. A restaurant is for fast food, and it's for those who either don't have time to cook for themselves or are far from home.

The cost of things has gone up so much so that it's glaring. Imagine paying 5-12$ for an average meal you could get before for 3$. The jump cost is extremely high. Cooking a meal at home can cost you the same amount you would spend on eating in a restaurant. Funny enough people still afford all these things without complaining. My anger is that we make money to spend it all into our normal life expenses. It's difficult now to save or invest unless you part of the rich people in society. An average man has to just eat, pay bills, and survive.
