I can set the drivers to not update in win10. Which nvidia drivers are the most stable?

Can anyone please confirm which drivers are the best for 6 * nVidia GTX 1070 G1 Gaming 8GB for Windows 10 & EWBF nVidia.miner.0.3.4b.

Is seems like whenever I go above driver version "385.41-desktop-win10-64bit-international-whql" the miner becomes unstable and i have to reduce the OC.

Thanks

 No reason to use anything more recent than 373.06 on a mining machine, unless you have 1080 ti cards or 1070 ti cards that aren't supported by that old of a driver version (possibly some of the Pascal-based Titan version as well).

I'm running Nvidia driver version 388.00  seems to be working fine on Win10.  But I'm looking for an Nvidia website for the changes..  and looks like mostly game and sli updates.

Can anyone confirm this isn't malicious?

 well over 5000 posts later, and you ask this?

 Thread would not have lasted this long if this was a virus.

Lol you aren't running national security. It looks like the source isn't available. Has someone looked at it. You never ass--u--me Smiley

By asking that question YOU assume that we are all complete idiots.
I do not have Windows source code but I still use it nonetheless.

Wow awful touchy. If you can't see past you own ignorance I have nothing more to say to you. I ask a very simple question, yet you seem to think "just cause" is a good enough answer to my question or that some how me asking a straight forward question is targeting your intelligence? One does /= the other. Have a great day.

Answer to your simple question = Yes it is full of viruses.

Hey guys, i got 2x 1070 and i'm getting some lower results than all of you

i had to put power on 90% +130 clock +680 memory in order to get 435sol

can anyone share how they managed to get the best results for a 1070? thanks

power 85
core clock 120
memory 700
fan 80%

getting 965 sol/s with 150W -> 3.25 SOL/W

or

power 61
core clock 150
mem 400
fan 70%

getting 855 sol/s with 108W -> 3.9 SOL/W

or

power 58
core clock 150
mem 400
fan 50%

getting 825 sol/s with 101W -> 3.9 SOL/W

it just depends how do you have to pay per KW/Hour ... just try your cards, and after every change you made, wait about 10-15 mins to get a accurate data from the miner. I also let the miner restart every 30 Mins and take care, that my cards are still under 60C, because i still use them for gaming.

Changing fan from auto makes a difference? I have 8x evga gtx 1070 in getting around 3500 sols with power at 75 - CC at 138 - Memory C at 750.
Cant get em over 150 Core Clock without crashing or 800 Memory Clock. Same on other miners...

Actually, this is mining komodo... will start testing with zcash instead but I thought it'd be very similar results...

My rig eventually just starts reporting 0 sols and looping that with listing GPUs temps. Is there a way to auto restart when this happens and if so what do I add to the bat?  Thanks in advance.

Yes, I think there is.

Go here: https://vegamining.blogspot.co.uk/

Check out the free script.  With what I think would be minor editing, you could adapt that to EWBF.  Take a look.  XMR-STAK and EWBF work pretty much the same way on displaying output to the http port of your choosing.

Yes, EWBF is a great Zcash miner, but I was also wondering if there are going to be future updates. Seems he earns a decent fee, curious as to why he abandoned the project.
