I know my GPU is kinda old...but why would it crash

Does anyone else use GTX645?

THIS IS BEST SCREENSHOT I COULD GET BEFORE CRASHING!
MINIMAL BAT EDIT, UP TO DATE DRIVERS

I think the latest ver. is not suitable for older cards. You need to try an earlier version where those older GPUs were supported.
Unfortunatly devs are not so good (or interested) at implementing guides for their softwares as they are for coding them so it is hard
to tell you which version you need to use.

That's flippin sad Sad

Thanks, ill go n look for older builds

Is it possible to specify failover servers as a command line argument, instead of using the config file?

Is this miner still under ongoing development? anyone know if the hash rate is better that Claymore's?  Roll Eyes

What is claymore's miner for equihash on nvidia? He doesn't have one.

I see, I got confused since Claymore has cuda miners for other coins but not for equihash. I'm going to have to try this one since it seems to be the best available for Nvidia cards.

I suggest you try dstm's miner first (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-dstms-zcash-equihash-nvidia-miner-v062-linux-windows-2021765): even with 2% fee it seems to be slightly more profitable (more hash, less power) than ewbf's miner. If it's stable for you - stick with it (it's not stable for me unfortunately). Also dstms's miner seems to be actively developed, while ewbf's one is abandoned.

Hi, just to be sure...Do I lose any money with --fee 0 ? (and btw, do I just add "--fee 0" to the start file? )

Following this. I'm also curious...

No guys, you are not losing any money. The hash rate is the same as with fee enabled.
you got proof of that?

if not then its nothing more than heresay and or opinion. its safe to assume you might lose hashrate if --fee 0 is used. its not farfetched claymore miners do that, all of them when you disable the devfee you lose hashrate

"its safe to assume you might lose hashrate if --fee 0"  - it is no safer than assuming the opposite.
I'm telling you my observations. I used to mine at 2% fee for one month (that was my way to pay dev for his work). Now I'm mining with 0%. What kind of proof you need? You can just run you miner with both settings and compare the result. Instead you expect me to do the same for you and upload screenshots? A little naive, dude.

I find EWBF most stable out of all the zcash miners. I am sure others see the benefit of this miner too and are reaping the rewards Smiley

What means CUDA miner error code number 73? Can not find error code explanations.
It means a lot of overclocking, lowers the clocks and a little power limit

Hello, I have been mining for months and have now tried to put --fee 0 and there is no change in the mining speed, it works at exactly the same speed, is not that command supposed to lower the mining speed?

how can you put 0 fee?

is there any better mnet then EWBF? well, it is just strange, that there are not nay updates anymore.

The way the fees work is depending on the x% you are paying every x/100 shares you generate goes to a PPLNS system mining for EWBF's wallet. If you turn the fee off, you are now getting all of those shares put towards your wallet. So you should see no change in hashrate when scaling the fees.

So I have more profits when I put -fee 0? It seems that that option seems rare
For me is the same , i cand see any difference
