I see. But you didn't answer - were you got 1.3.0a?

Dual-mining and the Linux port are my priorities now, but I will definitely get to GCN1.

Hi. In Excavator 1.3.0a I can change "R_0:R_1=16:6" if I write it in "worker.add" ?

[
   {"time":0,"commands":[
      {"id":1,"method":"algorithm.add","params":["daggerhashimoto_sia","daggerhashimoto.eu.nicehash.com:3353","WALLET.worker1","sia.eu.nicehash.com:3360","WALLET.worker1"]}
   ]},
   {"time":3,"commands":[
      {"id":1,"method":"worker.add","params":["0","0","R_0:R_1=16:6","P=0"]}
   ]}
]
Where you take version 1.3.0a? On github is only 1.2.11a...

What is this?

Did AMD just infiltrate Nicehash devs? All jokes aside, what's going on? Will the legacy version continue to receive updates?
Wrong topic. You must write to topic with nicehashminer: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/nicehash-miner-easy-to-use-best-profit-multi-device-cryptocurrency-miner-1274983

You can't use more than 8 GPUS with windows. I tried ethos but i dont get the same hashing rate as i do with windows.

Hello, I hope someone here can help me. I have Nicehas miner 2.0 beta install and 1.8... also installed. I have a 13 GPU miner, 5 Nvidia and 8 amd. I did the benchmark with the 2.0 but it always freezes and when it goes through is doesnt mine. If I do the nicehash 1.8 i can get 5 nvidia gpus to run , but mot the 8 amd. I would like to know if there is a way to make them all work with nicehash.

We do not suggest mining with mixed rigs. There are simply too many driver-related issues.

Either make full NVIDIA rig or full AMD rig and then try again. Should work fine.

Have you tried to use the excavator "command-line" version 1.2.11a which you can download here :
https://github.com/nicehash/excavator/releases

It is a bit of config work with 13 cards but you can try if this one works.

There is also a GUI for the command line to help you out :

is there a way to restart Excavator every 6 hours?

Put quit command in, timed to execute after 6 hours. Combine with autorestart script and you have it.

Like this?:
{"time":21600, "commands":[quit]}
{"time":21600,"commands":[
      {"id":1,"method":"quit","params":[]}

Hi did you get it to work with the timer?
Yes, it works, but I ended up not using it in the end.

Oh okee.
Would you like to share your json file as example?
Its nothing special, just put my address on the default one.

As a fairly recent miner, only 4 months since start, I would like to aks you guys this: How do you clean your rigs? How often? Does it make sense to clean it? What method do you use?

Electric dusters like this one helps a great deal, especially with open-case rigs:

Guys,

are there going to be any more optimisations for equihash and GTX 1070/1080Ti?
Or the focus now is to have more algos on Excavator?

djEzo said we would be working exactly on that after the Linux port, which should be ready very soon.

I have filters in my case so that helps a lot and you can use a wet cloth (wring it good) to clean the fan blades.

I am facing the following situation, maybe somebody else has found a solution or know what I should look for: all my six 1070 are mining zcash as they should, until excavator crashes (it can take a few minute, or hour or days sometimes) - however when excavator resumes, in the same window, I sees only 5 of the 6 cards. Even if I restart excavator it does not see the other card. Funny thing is - the card is present in device manager.
For the card to reappear, I need to restart the rig, and it's there until excavator crashes again...

Any ideeas?

Dial down your overclock. THis is just the driver failing and crashing for that specific card.

Thanks for the tip - I did, and it seems to work for now.
