I found the affiliate link of eXch anyone use the affiliate link with your own signature?
I don't think using affiliate links in our signatures can count as public affiliation [the only thing that they allow for normal users] simply because of the fact that there's no easy way to verify we didn't abuse it.

It would've been nice and informative for others, if you were a little more detailed regarding the resolution of your issue. Unless there's nothing more to say that once eXch fixed their ETH node issues, all orders have been completed quietly as indicated by their status update.

Still, to elaborate a bit more, isn't a bad conclusion of your issue.

As I said earlier, the capability of solving a problem are a more reliable indicator of the organisational skill, rather the absence of problems in the first place.
The customer experience somehow comes first the sheer technical experience, for a retail exchange.
The eXch team seems to be more dedicated to the functionality of the platform and prefers to make the technical part work well rather than entering into long support discussions with clients.
It seems that the problem Bkorx13 had has been solved, and the System status log confirms this

eXch is a trusted exchange, you don't need to worry about your funds. I hope you downloaded the letter of guarantee in case it is needed later.

Earlier, there was also a problem with their Ethereum node, then it was resolved in a short time, I assume that it will be the same this time as well. Obviously, there is a problem here, but I believe that eXch is also aware of it and that they are working on the complete elimination of the problem.

If you need your funds asap, sometimes you have a button in your order, that gives you the possibility to do an automatic refund. Not sure if it is the case for you.

What's going on with this exchange?
Probably nothing in special. Sometimes transactions get stuck for a variety of reasons. (And it's not the only exchange where this happens. In fact I had it more often with other exchanges, exch is normally very fast and reliable.)

Have you contacted support? Currently I see the ETH reserves are at 0, if your exchange was from or to ETH this could be related.

I had stuck transactions in the past and all were solved after I contacted support (not even the Letter of guarantee was needed, but of course it's better to always download it!), but sometimes the support simply fixes the issue and doesn't confirm it via email. You'll simply will get your coins sent to the address.

The problem @NotATether had with exch is not related to the exchange operation, see the previous pages. Just my opinion: I don't think NotATether wanted to generate FUD with his posts. He could (and should) however of course have mentioned a bit earlier that his problem wasn't related to an exchange operation. I hope you both are/were able to solve the issue in a satisfactory way for both parties.

When my clients in other places have an issue with me and they talk to me, I don't make them wait for weeks for an answer unless I explicitly tell them ahead of time first.

And speaking of which - you still haven't authorized my refid or even bothered to reply to my support ticket after the SYSTEM message. So why don't you try doing that first. I'm tired of waiting in the dark for my money.

There is no doubt that it can always be done better, but looking for perfection in this kind of work is, in my opinion, still a bit too much. It is important that everything is back to normal, and I have no doubt that everyone learned something from all this.

In real life, I (probably like everyone else) have had much worse situations, and now that half of Europe is on annual vacation, I have problems with every delivery I ordered from abroad - the packages stay in the same warehouse for 10 days, which is not normal, but is happening.

I agree that it could have been handled better. Unless their staff simply disappeared and went on vacation without telling anyone, it's fair to assume that those responsible knew at what time their staff will be unavailable due to their holidays. If it was me, I would have made a post, informing the community and userbase that our staff will be unavailable or less available because of vacation. I would have asked the community to be patient and told them to stay calm.
