Someone is definitely manipulating the price of Exe down on Cryptsy on purpose. This is evident through strings of little fraction sales orders at consecutive lower prices. It must be a system of some sorts because it is not a round number but always a string of amounts of 0.01337000 EXE each. It reads "leet" which is something we all know what it means which is probably what the person thinks of his own trading ability.
One can only speculate about the motives the person has to drive the price down.

First what comes to my mind - somebody wants to buy it when the price is low.
Or moreover - mine more by keeping the difficulty low.  Lower price = less miners = lower diff. EXECoin's potential will increase rapidly as scrypt ASICs become more prolific.  Stocking up on a ton of EXE now seems like a pretty good bet compared to most other coins (save LTC and BTC).

if price is being manipulated at all is someone just stocking up on more cheap exe (cause it will explode) and taking it from panic sellers.

Under normal "random" trading I could agree, however in this case what is happening is lets say the price is at 8500, then suddenly the buy offers disappear on the right to just before a buy wall. Then 20 sells of the same amount is done at fractions of 1 EXE, in this case 0.0001337000 EXE in enough increments to take the price down to lets say 7500 which would be just above the buy wall. A weak hand or automated system then panics and places 1000+ at that price which is immediately bought (I bet buy the same person that placed the sell fractions). As soon as a buy wall is hit it stops. If the buy wall happens to go the process starts again. Someone is filling their bag. I bet that at some point the same person will inject some BTC and do the opposite on the buy side. He seems to feed Exe to the small buy offers ont he right to tget to a lower buy offer price, before he starts operating on the left with his fractions but he does not seem to have the appetite to feed a larger buy wall of 2000+. It seems that there are more random amounts appearing too - who sells fractions of an Exe at price increments downward - really??

No, the above behaviour is not normal market reaction. It is like finding a straight line in nature - it is not natural. There are some thick buy wallls at 7500 so this person/s will find it difficult to break through that. I would not yet sell EXE. I first want to see when some of the core principles for a real sustainable successful coin are implemented like integration with merchant systems, ATMs, mobile phone wallets etc. - things that will make the coin usable by the ordinary mass man on the street.

The thing is there is no fundamental reason why Exe cannot be succsessful. We are hearing all the right noises, it is just up to the devs and community to make it happen.

Agreed. With low volume it becomes very easy to manipulate.

You think so? Or it is the natural market reaction.
I consider selling the EXEs and limit my loses.

Maybe the wallet is compiled for 64bit? I believe BAMT is 32bit.

Do you have a 64-bit Linux system you can try it on?

Why do 64 bit wallet? Why these difficulties? Wallet litecoin download and run and no problems.
I think developers execoin amateurs. Site with broken links and no worries about ordinary users.

Also please note that Execoin-Qt 64 bit binary will be removed from downloads section soon, since Linux users are supposed to build wallet on their systems by themselves and it's not possible to prepare ready-to-run Linux executable for every version of Linux system.

Then make a clear and simple instructions for building. And post on the site.

Can you run the file from the terminal, that way you will see what the error is.
Chances are you will need to compile it yourself.  Let us know the error
