It's been months.  They would have fixed it by now.  You should be contacting lawyers and authorities.

Protect Yourself
The best protection for customers is to only purchase alternative virtual currencies, digital coins,
or tokens that have been thoroughly researched. Remember:
 Don’t purchase digital coins or tokens because of a single tip, especially if it comes over
social media.
 Don’t believe ads or websites that promise quick wealth by investing in certain digital
coins or tokens.
 Do not participate in pump-and-dump trades; market manipulation is against the law and
many participants end up losing money.
 There is no such thing as a guaranteed investment or trading strategy. If someone tells
you there is no risk of losing money, do not invest.

If you believe you may have been the victim of fraud, or to report suspicious activity, contact us
at 866.366.2382 or visit CFTC.gov/TipOrComplaint.

U.S Government offers bounty for tips on pump-&-Dump groups (10-30% bounty for 1.000.000 USD sanctions)

Interpol are out there busting scammers arses and CM will in the firing line very soon I would say

Look at bigtrail scam https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/7wlo19/the_bitgrail_hack_was_months_ago_bomber_defrauded/
We re basically experiencing the same thing, a fraud.
So, why is everything stagnant again and we re not doing anything.
Report coinsmarkets to the dutch authorities

for the netherlands call 0900-8844 and for outside call 0031-343578844.

Also, Fredista, are you there? Do you have any news?

Guys, at this point, I would advise the same. Yes, it is true, the argument is that if authorities step in, then it will be long delays and you may never see your funds soon, if at all.

But the opposite end, if they are really trying to exit scam and you do nothing, then you definitely get nothing back.

Let this be a lesson to them and others, for the betterment of the community. I agree. Make the calls. Report them.

yes im here, for everybody read this please! yes in the beginning of this i did my homework already about coinsmarkets! some people told me to backoff some did not. so i did choose to backoff and give them a chance!.
Seems now that i was on the right track, so i will start everything up again!, oh by the way yes i was the guy that did go to the surinamestraat, yes i did made first contact with the host & gandhi.

i was also in the first stage off this with some people that i know of the dutch authorities ( it can speed things up if you know the right people! )

As in my last post on bitcointalk i want to make this clear again, please let the people that want to take some action 2 coinsmarkets do their thing. if you believe, it's your choice i'll respect that.

For now i want to make this clear!

Everybody wants their coins/money back, even if we can't get the coins back, the people behind coinsmarkets deserve to be in court. what im thinking that the coins are lost! deal with it but we all together need to agree that we don't let them get away with this.

First stage
I did register a domain coinsmarkets-exit.nl, i will setup a simple wordpress website on it so people can sign up for legal actions & also they make clear how much they lost.
Also everybody needs to left their contact information behind for me so when i go to the CIE ( criminele inlichtingen eenheid ) i can present all the information.

For the no dutch, criminele inlichtingen eenheid, is like the FBI/CIA.

second stage

i'll setup a official fundraiser to get us a special dutch lawyer, i have some big office in mind on the zuidas, amsterdam with some people that how to deal with this. Yes it will cost us money, for example one of those lawyers does have a hour rate of +/- 200 euro's per hour.
It's alot of money i know but i think we al agree that we don't be penny wise pound foolish.

third stage

I will setup the lawyers(s) with the contact's i have made already. and also in this stage i want to setup a private info channel so the CIE (dutch authority ) can maybe use this.

where i need help..

i need a 1 or 2 dutch people that's want to work with me on this, if something happens the other person can take over! i need a USA guy that is free to response if it's needed!

Also if somebody have some time over, work with me on the wordpress site,  i think we need a custom plugin so people can give the information about the coins they lost.

Don't know if the site is up how my hosting will do cause i have a small plan for this.  We need to fund this too or find somebody that can provide us a bigger hosting ( don't wanna be like coinsmarkets)

NOTE: i did read much about telegram/facebook groups and more, IF we cannot make it happen that we work as a team together this does not have any chance! and even if it does it takes to much time! and once again i have the contacts with people that are maybe gonna pick this up faster. This ain't USA police, not enough people, not enough IT people with dutch government, the only chance we have is the CIE working with the FIOD.

Oh and at last, yes i did lost coins to, but my ex girlfriend did stole my laptop with my business email so even i when coinsmarkets comes back online i have no chance to get my mail changed. Ain't doing this to get better of it, i will setup

Hi Fredista,

thanks for all your work you are doing. Many coinsmarkets user appreciate it. Do you have any news you can give us regarding your website or your laywer?
Also it would be interesting to know, how much are the laywer fees for each user? Is it a fixed amount or does it depend on the amount in dispute or does it depend on how much work is it for the laywer?

Some of the coinsmarkets user only lost some hundreds, some other several thousands or even several ten thousands USD in coins. So it would be great, when the laywer fees for each user doesen`t exceed the amount in dispute.

If the laywer fees are reasonable i would be happy to contribute to it and send my details to you when your website is ready.

Best wishes

So is there really nobody who can find the owners of coinsmarkets? we could make a crowdfunding for the finder.
After that we will contact some guys in the netherlands to try to get it resolved PERSONALLY. Thru police it will take to long or noting will happen ==>last option.
I am not tech savvy I don't now how to find them. But I am real life savvy I can get shit done here if we have some info (I'm from the netherlands).

The fact that the server/host is in Holland does not mean that the owner(s) of coinmarkets are from Holland and are themselves in Holland...
So far i did not see any info that the owners are from there.

The hoster should know who the owner(s) are, but is probably not allowed, or want to coöperate, to give this information to private people, and will only reveal who the owners are in case of a trial.

The current climate with regards to crypto. and International Financial Crime Units makes CoinsMarkets a prime target to be made examples of. They picked the wrong time to fuck so many people out of their money. They'll be caught.

It seems the discussion only continues, but nothing really happens.

I did not read all the pages, but what's clear to me is that these kind of cases are  complicated from international law point of view. Many opinions, but what is the right path to take....
Even if the server and hoster are situated in Holland,  does this mean Dutch law is in effect?

The initiative from Fredista #2602 seemed good, but to me it's not clear if this is already started or was just an idea. The website http://coinsmarkets-exit.nl/ is online but that's about it.

When the coinsmarkets issue started there was a lot of fud, and offcourse poor communication from coinsmarkets. After this they started to communicate a little(probably only to please people to get more time), and it seemed plausible, but now it's hard to believe anymore.  DB, other hosts, no other hosts with backup host, Trading will be enabled in a few hours, DB fixing issue, DB fixing last issue etc.... Roll Eyes

Due to the extended time it takes to fix "their issues", it is almost impossible to believe that this is for real. Even if it's a mistake to start the hunt on the fucktards, they had their chances to correct it. And after 30 january they stopped communicating  again because they simply don't give a fuck....

i probably think that CONSmarkets might be inside trading of the devs at ECA. come to think of it ECA became from 1 satoshi to 60 sats with 1 billion tokens and then it went down. i think there's something fishy with the devs publishing whitepaper and any updates.

while our ECA got trapped at CONSmarkets, ECA devs are dumping their coin at the exchanges.

we've been Goxed but way worse than Mt.Gox itself.

The DEVS at ECA are behind this!

Actually that's what I thought all along especially what was being said in the chat went the site went down and how huge btc dumps were happening at that very moment CM went offline. I wish I was wrong but the timing was just too perfect. That's why I was trying to just cash out and get out before that last btc dump hit and that's when ooh look my trade went through but my coins never actually deposited into my wallet balance. How convenient. Then of course the lovely " withdrawals for this coin are disabled" hit after that and I'm sitting there thinking wtf?

All of a sudden ECA is on 4 other exchanges within few weeks with no issues? Like couldn't they do that before?

The other thing is the incessant promoting in the CM chat. It's like wait people's coins are locked up and you're going to keep telling people to buy the coin that brought them on this exchange in the first place and trapped them?

I even went to the discord and they kept shutting down any discussion about CM and did that " ooh but you know you can buy ECA at coinhouse". I'm like what are these people smoking? How do you go from "ooh yeah coins are stuck to lets change the subject to "hey go sign up for this exchange and buy more"  .

I really do hope I'm wrong and it was just bad planning , bad timing  and just bad all around on their part.

I even noticed  the Devs for flappy coin is actually trying to reimburse people's coins which is quite generous. Eca? "Shrugs".

I'm thinking is there a sensitivity chip missing or was that just a bot pretending to be human? Ohh nope just a human pretending to be a money grubbing bot. FFS. Unreal.

Surely I'm thinking "nah" maybe it's just a bizarre coincidence but promoting daily in a chat where a bunch of people are hoping to have access to their coins? I didn't see any other coin really do this straight for a month and a half and thought wow they really don't give a flying F***!

The whole thing is shady.  I hope others at least got balance screen shots like I was able to do. It was required in the cryptsy class action lawsuit.  Roll Eyes
