Mercedes just need to be patient until getting closer to Red Bull's level in time. It won't be easy to close that big gap in a short time even as of now. They have got faster recently but it is still not enough to keep a good distance with Verstappen. After Hamilton overtook Alonso at the start already we all saw how Verstappen was comfortable with opening the gap with Hamilton. But this is indeed progress. Currently Mercedes' direct opponent is Aston Martin and Ferrari comes right after it.

As for Ferrari it was nice to see there was an improvement in strategy. This helped the drivers gain so many places. But the key is consistency. We have 4 races in July so let's see how consistent they can be in this time period.

Did you see the video of Max Verstappen hitting a bird, imagine hitting a bird and he feels sorry about his mechanic, having to remove it, here are the videos if you guys haven't seen it

Here is the Video of Max hitting a bird while leading the Canadian Grand Prix

https://www.youtube.com/shorts/kAyqzQNEKxg

It was very unfortunate for the bird to be hit by an F1 machine, and likely by Max Verstappen, surely it is unintentional for that to happen because the RB19 was super fast that a bird could evade it, and it was hilarious that the bird got stuck on the machine and the mechanic will surely have some trouble while taking it off, it was really hilarious,

Somehow I still managed to end up keeping my spot on the F1 pool, it's the most surreal thing to happen this season to me. Didn't win anything except consolation in EPL pool, got relegated in BSFL contest but so far doing ok in my first try of F1. It's really really weird, but don't expect that I keep it for a long time, I don't mind honestly, just enjoying it as it happens Smiley

As long as you are enjoying it then I think that is good enough for me to make predictions and then win it with the same as my predictions or even close to my predictions I am happy doing it,

Right now the next F1 Grand Prix will be the Austrian GP, and it will be on June 30 - July 02, it will be next week so I think moving on to the F1 Academy if anyone is interested, or if there are sports books available on Sportsbet or other gambling sites that will be great,

F1 Academy Netherlands Zandvoort

Finally I can Ferrari had a solid strategy who placed both drivers in important points for the team and I do hope I will see them keeping the same inspiration for next races as well.

The Ferrari team still needs to improve to get to the point where they are not making any mistakes anymore but I think the Engineers also need to adjust the F1 machines aswell The car is constantly bouncing and that in my opinion has making the car out of control Ferrari is constantly spinning or sometimes going into wrong corners, maybe it is on the car,

Max drove without any mistakes today and it was a well deserved win and being on the same number with Senna on victories means a lot for us the fans and I hope it will mean something for him too.

Max Verstappen doesn't seem to make any mistakes at all not unlike Sergio Perez that is having quite a hard time after that Monaco GP mistakes his mischief keeps going on, by not landing on the podium, although they have the same RB19 the talent is really exceptional to Max Verstappen,

Right now  Cristian Horner puts Verstappen among the great by equaling the late Ayrton Senna’s 41 career race wins I think the Flying Dutchman also feels the same, Ayrton Senna is one of the greats and if not for that tragic event I think he will keep on racing up today,

Rain affected lot of thing today, but didn't changed one - Vertappen dominance. Weather conditions mostly affected Leclerc and Perez who didn't got chance for normal last attempt. Ferrari qualifying become even worse as Sainz got 3 place penalty for blocking Gasly.
No rain is expected tomorrow, just cloudy weather, so, no more chaos.

Max Verstappen has proven again that he can drive in any given situation rain or shine this is the quality of Verstappen he is a pure genius when it comes to driving and I think the Dominance in the F1 race is really his talent you can never  see a person like this in any given situation, I think well Mercedes, in my opinion, has a promising run to make it into a podium for me Fernando Alonzo and Lewis Hamilton still has something to prove but it is Max Verstappen's time,

Seems like Mercedes has a great upgrade this week, I wonder if it's a one lap success, like would work on Saturdays but not so much on Sundays, or if it is a race upgrade as well. Red Bull may not be the greatest Saturday car, but their domination during the race ins unbelievable, they keep it consistently close lap after lap, and I think it will become something important to know for Mercedes.

I wouldn't bet on them to win this week neither though, not yet at least, maybe they will get closer by the end and maybe they will be great next season, but I think this week is the first week with this magnificent upgrade, so it will not be easy for the drivers to adjust and win right away. They will certainly try, and podium is possible, even double podium is quite possible but I doubt they will get a win.

The Mercedes upgrades have proven that they are up to something incredible and you are right for not betting on them because they still need to test those upgrades not unlike Max Verstappen that are now ahead of them he already establish good conditioning with his car, while Fernando Alonzo, Lewis Hamilton, and George Russell will likely need some conditioning to make in the actual race and I think because the practice session was cut short because the Practice 1 was called off because of a technical issue they still need more time to make some adjustments,

I really think that Nico Hulkenberg just happens to get a good lead when the rain started, and also Max Verstappen can pretty much do a good race wet or dry, he is good at any kind of weather, pretty much just like I have said, for me this is what I am going to give a go with my betting with the F1 race right now

1st - Max Verstappen
2nd - Lewis Hamilton
3rd - Fernando Alonzo
      - George Russell
      - Charles Leclerc
      - Carlos Sainz
      - Sergio Perez

1st place will be Max Verstappen, 2nd will be Lewis Hamilton, and with the 3rd place I could go for whoever I like or you like for me the close one will be Fernando Alonzo then George Russell, and the rest will be for the Ferrari or the 2nd Red Bull Team,

Whoa! We got the same prediction about the race except Fernando Alonzo was in the 2nd place then Lewis Hamilton in the 3rd, then the rest could make it to the 4th down, and yeah I could add up Lando Norris because I am giving much attention for drivers who also drive on Sim races, just check out what Lando Norris did and catching up like that was pretty much intense for him, but it was not enough but he is showing potential,

Ferrari having a better than Mercedes is definitely not what most of us would have assumed, right guys? I don't want to build up too much hope anymore for Leclerc but it's really good to see him making better positions now, and 4/5 finish is actually to me preferable to only 1 car podium and other out of top 10.

Well, for me I am not really hoping for Ferrari to be on Podium actually I think I have more faith in Mercedes making it to the podium more often than Ferrari, the problem with Ferrari was not really the Machines but the lack of driver experience, consistent in making mistake within the race was Ferrari's failure, I think Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc needs more time to be on a level that they can attain a podium more often in every race, but me I am seeing Mercedes and Aston Martin having a chance to take the crown from Verstappen,

I guess so. But I still wish someone would have stepped in for me and told me earlier to help me see what I was doing to myself. Someone eventually did and I'm so glad, because maybe today I would still be doing it if that person didn't intervene. I got back so much after leaving it all in the past few years, my work is so much better, my health, my family etc. I'm enjoying life much more. I never say it's bad for anyone, don't think I ever said "waste of life". I always gave my thoughts based on myself and what it did to me Smiley I do agree that people shoudl do whatever they enjoy. But if you do see them not enjoying other aspects of life because of one major thing sucking out the enjoyment from other things, I think a real friend would step in and just check.

By the way to tell you, great win on the pool!!

For me, a true friend will always step in for you and would always say that a thing you are doing is bad, and he will not want you to get hurt, for me that friend of yours needs to be cherished for life that kind of friend will likely help you in times of trouble and will always be there for you, will not abandoned you for sure,

I was expecting a better Mercedes also. The mercedes driver punctured a tire, broke the rim, damaged the wing, reached the pits and returned to the race. this guy is 8-9 in a situation where he should beat even the 19th rank. In the following laps, if DNF did not exist, he would have scored again. In most races, there are 3-4 second differences between the pilots of each team. Either there are 10 drivers on the grid, 10 goodies or there is something else behind this. All 10 teams strategize to protect their qualifying wins rather than compete. It turned into a strange situation where red flags were raised at the slightest rain, and the drivers were driving like turtles to avoid an accident. Managers and team managers urgently need to change their minds.

George Russell hits the barrier so badly that his back wheel was wobbling this looks like a red flag but still he gets to the pit with that Wibbly tire and regained momentum toward the race, and got past both Yuki Tsunoda and Kevin Magnussen that took a yellow flag, George Russell coming back like this was really amazing, but was out because the front left brake was too high, and if he doesn't have any technical difficulties with his car maybe he can retake his position back he was at position 8 when he retires his car,

RACE HIGHLIGHTS
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yX_GUhWiBHk

Logan Sargeant was the 1st to get the red flag and didn't finish the race, while on lap 12 George Russell hit the barrier it was a terrible smash for George Russell's right wing was gone and the back wheel wobbled and likely he gets the get flag, while in the pit Lewis Hamilton nearly hit Fernando Alozo in the pits, Lando Norris is showing good racing here taking the position from his teammate Oscar Piastri, then taking Valtteri Bottas, and then Kevin Magnussen, then Lap 22 Fernando Alonzo gets the position of Lewis Hamilton for the 2nd place position, while lap 35 Nyck De Vries is having trouble with Kevin Magnussen while the two is fighting it then a yellow flag from both drivers banging their wheels and stuck in the corner, but at the end of the race Max Verstappen still gets it done getting the win in the Canadian GP for 2023 and alongside him in the podium will be Fernando Alonso 2nd and Lewis Hamilton at 3rd,

My commentators were keep saying that Ferrari is the best car on straights and I was laughing so hard in front of my TV. Like ...I know they are Ferrari fans because I am too , but I'm realistic and I know for a fact that Ferrari's car right now is not even a top 3 in F1 and if McLaren keep pushing with great updates , I'm afraid Ferrari won't be even a top 4 by the end of the season.

More than this , Leclerc seems to gave up on his dreams to win a championship with Ferrari and he might need a mind reset soon because nothing is working for him and Ferrari... . Rumors of him to Mercedes or Audi are just rumors and nothing more.

I am a Ferrari fan aswell but seeing how the Ferrari performing right now they keep on making mistakes if not mistakes poor decision-making in switching tires surely there are many Ferrari fans out there I really think this is because of the influence of Michael Schumacher when he was on Ferrari, and for me he was really the face of Ferrari back then until he changes team back then before he becomes disabled because of a Skiing incident,

Well, Charles Leclerc wants to be successful, and if he is not going to get this with Ferrari then he could have gotten it with other teams like Mercedes, Aston Martin, or even Red Bull if they still want Sergio Perez,

Who's getting excited about the race? Can't believe after all the drama with Sainz he still ends up above Leclerc, and yeah boltz people still think Ferrari is the beast lol

I am excited about the race now that the gap is really closing against Red Bull, with Mercedes, Aston Martin, maybe Ferrari, Alpine, and Alpha Tauri, I really think getting into so much change with their upgrades and now that the flooring of the Red Bull and the Mercedes was revealed to the other teams I think some teams are likely upgrading their cards or maybe secretly upgrading their cars, we can surely elaborately say that they are,

Right now as I am posting this the Race is in motion and it is now in Lap 70 as I am seeing it and the Race will surely end any minute now, as I am posting this.

For me, I really think that it is a great bet to get to Podium for the Mercedes team, I don't know if Adding Hulkenburg could be possible but I don't really see him more often in that position this is the 1st time, and it is unusual but for me, it is a great bet to put Mercedes on the list of Podium, in my opinion, their upgrade was really great that they are doing some surprise winnings in the 2nd and 3rd position,

For me, not the winning because that is still for Max Verstappen for sure and I don't want to put so many hopes for people that want a new winning in the leader board, but Max Verstappen is pretty much in a different caliber of a racer I really think that he is a real genius and always practicing with his Sim Race, for sure to get ahead of many drivers for the upcoming Circuit for the Grand Prix,

Hülkenberg had a bit of an advantage due to the weather and was able to use it well, if the race goes normally today I don't think he will have a chance for a good place. Mercedes is very strong, as you wrote, and yesterday morning I was even betting on a win for Hamilton and second Verstappen, so we'll see how the race goes.

In any case, we have a F1 race to enjoy and whether you can sit and watch the entire race or just wait til it is over than watch the highlights so to cut down on the waste of time it takes to actually watch the race,
I am certain if you are a true F1 fan or even starting out it will aim to not disappoint you today.

Have my entire winnings from the previous night on a Max Verstappen outright winning this Canadian Grand Prix.

Here are the current markets on this much anticipated event occurring roughly in about 4 hours from now.

Hulkenberg was given a penalty so he does not start in P2 anymore but in P5 which really sucks for Haas who thought they had their possible breakthru in this race to get a possible podium. But who are we kidding, they wouldn't of with Alonso and Hamilton doing as good as Verstappen in rain racing on this track. Where Perez, Sainz and Leclerc really suck if we do indeed see rain today.

There is no reasons to hate, that's your choice. I can understand not having Twitter or Netflix, but I find it strange how you can say no to Youtube. I'm not talking about wasting time watching some random fun videos and similar shit, but something that is really valuable. But you have strong reason not to use it and I can understand you.

I can still go and watch important videos like for work sure on YT, or even see an important tweet on Twitter but anyway those things are all banned on my office network, I can watch stuff people send to me directly of course.

I think I'm ok missing out on 1 good video to miss out 100 shit videos. My life is better and more free without all these distractions although betting still distracts me a lot lol

What a chaotic qualify we got.
Another disaster for Ferrari with Leclerc, the team did a mistake but also he messed up by cutting a turn and getting 2 laps "deleted".

Ferrari is competitive this week, it will have a great recovery.

Thanks for the recommendation but I don't really watch things either lol I know people hate me when I say sorry, no Twitter, no Youtube, no Netflix etc but trust me it's for my own good. After spending half day in office facing computer and doing nothing but typing, I would go home, and arriving home doing the exact same thing facing computer. And when travelling the same, facing screen. Sometimes even sleep a few hours because of addiction.

So sorry to hear that, No offense but maybe you need psychiatric attention, but well if you can control it well maybe you don't need any therapy at all, Social Media surely is a wild thing that happens to people with online access and it also becomes very complicated to some extent they are living in an unrealistic Multi-Media platform if you would look at most Youtuber's Vlogs you will get what I am saying people tend to have video's that are unrealistic nowadays just to get payments, so you are right to not go with social media and become addicted towards it,

Was definitely a chaotic race weekend starting from P1 all the way through to qualifying.
Sainz really doesn't like Alpine hey? Grin
First he blocks Gasly from getting through to the next round in qualifying as the principle said during the interview he could of made it through to the next round of qualifying and get to position 6 all because of Sainz slowing down into the turn.
https://racingnews365.com/furious-gasly-calls-for-sainz-ban-after-qualifying-near-miss

Then he literally stopped in the middle of the track while Ocon was passing so he didn't get to a higher position as he was heading to a possible position 2 or 3. Atleast passing Hulkenberg in the Haas which amazingly didn't get penalized for speeding past Piastri so to keep his position 2 on the grid for tomorrow's race.

Forecast is a chance of meatballs so expect all drivers to put on those wets.
